Epic stunts have been shot in the city
Now Tom, 29, has shared a video with his 63 million followers giving fans a peek at the first day of filming.
Posting the clip he said: "Day one back in the suit."
The star, who is engaged to Marvel co-star Zendaya, 28, was delighted to have Spidey fans watching the action unfold.
He said: "It's day one, my fourth ever day one as Spider-Man.
"You know it's funny, putting the suit on it feels different this time somehow.
"It's also the first time we've ever had fans on set for day one so it's really exciting to share this with them.
"We've got some familiar faces on set. I am just going to do my best, hopefully get it right, no pressure."
And he revealed the release date of the movie, which he says is due to hit cinemas on July 31 next year.
The flick shows the performer striding down Glasgow's Bothwell street, in the famous superhero suit, where dramatic scenes including crashes, explosions and daring rescues have been captured over the past couple of weeks.
And Spidey fans were loving the video.

One said: "I got chills, this is SO EXCITING!"
And another gushed: "This is so great. So happy another movie is happening."
Filming has seen a tank roaring through the city centre while a fleet of NYPD cars speed after it with their red and blue lights flashing.
And film-lovers managed to get a glimpse of how the MCU's sensational action scenes are made.
Movie crews have been setting off explosions as part of the tremendous pursuit too.
Filming has now moved to the busy St Vincent Street for another scene involving the armoured vehicle.
But a shroud of secrecy is over the new film set after fences with white fire-proof screens were set up around the set.
The mystery has only created a web of intrigue and didn't deter nosy movie fans from trying to get a glimpse.
Many have been climbing onto walls and fences and walking further up the hill on St Vincent Street to get a view into the set.
Some even wandered up to the barriers and got on their tip-toes to reach up with their phones to get a picture.

Pirates of the Caribbean producer teases Johnny Depp's return to films
Captain Jack Sparrow might not have sailed his last voyage. According to longtime Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Johnny Depp could once again reprise career-making role , if the right script comes along. 'If he likes the way the part's written, I think he would do it,' Bruckheimer told Entertainment Weekly . 'It's all about what's on the page, as we all know… We are still working on a screenplay. We want to make it. We just got to get the right screenplay. We haven't quite gotten there yet, but we're close.' Daily Mail has reached out to Depp's representatives for comment, but they have not yet responded. Depp, 62, led five Pirates films between 2003 and 2017, all of which grossed more than $650 million globally, with Dead Man's Chest (2006) and On Stranger Tides (2011) each crossing the $1 billion mark. Together, the franchise has pulled in $4.5 billion at the worldwide box office — much of that with Depp front and center. His future with the Disney-backed series had been uncertain following his highly publicized legal troubles , including his 2022 libel trial against Amber Heard. Previously, the entertainment conglomerate chose to distance itself from the actor, but never formally cut ties with the father-of-two. At the time, millions of his fans signed online petitions demanding the star be reinstated in his role as Sparrow. But with Depp now mounting a major comeback in Lionsgate's upcoming Day Drinker, rumors over his return to the high seas has only grown. His last studio film was 2018's Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. The path to another Pirates installment has been winding and long. Back in 2020, Variety reported that Disney was developing two separate projects: a reboot led by Margot Robbie and a sixth film continuing the original storyline, written by Craig Mazin and Ted Elliott. Elliott famously co-wrote the first four Pirates adventures. Robbie later told Vanity Fair in 2022 that Disney was 'not interested' in her 'more of a female-led' version, but Bruckheimer pushed back on that narrative. At the time, he told EW there's still room for both. 'I think Disney agrees they really want to make the Margot one, too,' he said. That same year, he continued to insist that the project was very much 'alive' to The Hollywood Reporter. Although the female-led spinoff is unclear, it does not currently have a release date and no details about casting or production plans have been released.

‘Marty stop that! You can't do it!': Scorsese reveals he toyed with buying a gun to threaten film studio
Oscar-winning film director Martin Scorsese threatened to buy a gun when in a rage at a film studio, according to a new docuseries about his life. After suggested edits to his 1976 movie Taxi Driver, which starred Robert De Niro, he flew into such a fury that he began threatening to take the law into his own hands. 'Marty was very upset,' says Steven Spielberg. 'We get a call at the office: 'Steve, Steve, it's Marty. Can you come over to the house? They want me to cut all the blood spurting, they want me to cut the guy who loses his hand.'' 'He was going crazy,' adds fellow director Brian De Palma. 'I mean, the story is he wanted to kill the head of the studio.' Scorsese himself claims that his plans were slightly less extreme, even if he did claim at the time that he had every intention of buying a weapon. 'I don't know. I was angry. I said I was going to threaten them, or maybe just shoot or something. I had no idea,' he says. Instead, the director's actual plan involved a different sort of crime. 'What I wanted to do – and not with a gun – I would go in, find out where the rough cut is and break the windows and take it back,' he explains. 'They're going to destroy the film anyway, so let me destroy it. I'll destroy it. But before destroying it, I'm going to steal it. 'Spielberg said: 'Marty stop that! Marty, you can't do it!' And the more they said no, the more I said I was going to do it.' The scenes come from an Apple TV+ documentary series, Mr Scorsese, which looks at the director's life and work drawing on access to his private archives. It features interviews with family, friends and colleagues including De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Sharon Stone, Margot Robbie and Mick Jagger. It was not the first time that the director uttered violent threats during the production of Taxi Driver. He also infamously appeared in the movie as a passenger who planned to murder his wife after discovering her infidelity, performing a calm monologue strewn with racist language and threats of gun-related violence. Ultimately, a compromise to the editing crisis was struck, meaning that Taxi Driver was able to retain controversial blood-soaked scenes. In the words of Spielberg: 'It saved the movie because he didn't have to cut any of the violence. He just had to take the colour red down to a colour brown.'
