Police search for black Tesla that may have video of Pioneer Square mass shooting; victim remembered
Seattle Police are searching for the driver of a Black Tesla, possibly a Model Y, that was driving in Pioneer Square early Saturday morning. They believe the car may have recorded video footage of the incident that could help police identify a possible suspect.
'We know that these vehicles are equipped with video evidence and that they write over very quickly,' said Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes. 'So it's important to get that information out now.'
The shooting left three people dead and one person fighting for their life Saturday. It happened just after 1 a.m. near South Washington Street and 2nd Avenue South. No arrests have been made.
Police have not officially identified the victims, but a group of relatives visiting the scene Monday identified their loved one, 19-year-old Keilani Harris, as one of those killed.
'I just want my baby here,' said her mother, Christina Rivas. 'Being here, seeing where she laid. I have no words to describe what I'm feeling inside.'
Harris's family will remember her uncontrollable laughter, her energy for life, and her never-ending support.
'I was able to tell her anything at any time,' her brother told KIRO 7.
'I will miss her really much,' added her little sister.
Her family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses.
Rivas is begging anyone with information to come forward. She said she has been frustrated with the lack of communication she's received about information coming out.
'I'm begging you to, please, anybody,' she said. 'No matter the smallest detail that you have that could lead to an arrest. Please.'

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police need help finding the young man who robbed and shot a man at an ATM earlier this year, leaving him for dead for $40. The shooting happened on March 10 at an ATM on North Las Vegas Boulevard near Cheyenne Avenue. Bryson Chen, 22, was driving home from work when he decided to stop and take out $40 in cash for gas. 'In the corner of my eye, I see the person walking up behind me, and that's when he pulled out the gun,' Chen said. Chen threw his wallet at the thief, who also took the $40 Chen withdrew. The young man then shot Chen once in the abdomen. The bullet entered and exited Chen's body, requiring two surgeries, Chen said. 'I pulled $40 for gas, and he basically took my wallet and $40,' Chen said. 'He shot me for $40.' The case is one of just a handful of unsolved shooting cases under the purview of Metro's new Violent Gun Crime Unit. The department launched the unit last fall to solve shooting cases where a victim survives. 'He's a good person who was in the wrong place at the wrong time,' Capt. Michelle Tavarez, who oversees the unit, said. 'We're hoping by getting the word out there, somebody will see this picture and recognize who this subject is. And we'll be able to get him off the streets and hopefully get the justice for our victim that he deserves.' Metro provided photos of the shooting suspect, who they described as a young Black man with dreadlocks and glasses. College athlete — brother of NFL player — shot and paralyzed in MN, dad says
A college football player was shot outside a Minnesota home, paralyzing him and ending his football dreams, according to local authorities and the victim's father. Michael Blidi Jr., who earned a scholarship to continue his football career at Iowa Central Community College, was shot May 29 in Brooklyn Park, police said. 'According to the victim, he was standing on the sidewalk when a vehicle stopped, the suspect got out of the vehicle, fired a single shot, and struck him in the abdomen,' the Brooklyn Park Police Department said in a Facebook post. The accused gunman fled, police said, and no arrests have been announced as of June 4. Martinsville man charged after allegedly found asleep with teenager in car
HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of a man after allegedly being found asleep with a teenage girl in a car late in Collinsville on May 31. The sheriff said that a deputy who was patrolling the area near 2400 Virginia Avenue allegedly witnessed a suspicious red Dodge Charger with the engine running behind the AutoZone store around 5:08 a.m. on Saturday. The deputy approached the Charger and allegedly saw a man in the driver's seat, as well as a 14-year-old girl in the passenger seat, according to the sheriff. Both occupants appeared to be sleeping. The man was allegedly shirtless, and the teenage girl appeared to be unclothed, with 'several open containers of alcoholic beverages visible inside the vehicle,' the sheriff said. Infant found safe in Franklin County While investigating, it was allegedly determined that the man, who was later identified as 33-year-old Roniticus Lamar Wilson of Martinsville, and the teenage girl, knew each other and 'had been attempting to engage in a romantic relationship.' Roniticus Lamar Wilson has been arrested and charged with the following: Carnal Knowledge of a Child in violation of (Virginia Code § 18.2-63) Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor (Virginia Code § 18.2-371) Wilson is currently being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
