Man arrested in connection with West Seattle drive-by shooting
The Seattle Police Department (SPD) arrested a 23-year-old man charged with assault in connection with a drive-by shooting on Tuesday in West Seattle, SPD said in a release. At around 11:30 a.m. on June 3, officers found multiple shell casings after the shooting near Southwest Dakota Street and 25th Avenue Southwest, according to Seattle police. SPD said after reviewing video of the 23-year-old suspect running into a nearby apartment building, officers were able to find and arrest him. Police say they found a handgun with ballistic-tipped ammunition inside a black Audi sedan, but another suspect connected to the car has not been found. SPD asks anyone with information to call the Violent Crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000.

Two shot in South Seattle attempted robbery
A man and a woman were shot in South Seattle after a suspect attempted to rob them on Friday night, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD). Just before midnight near Beacon Avenue South and South Fletcher Street, the two were in a car when a suspect came up to the vehicle and demanded money, SPD said in a release. The suspect then pistol-whipped the woman and fired at least one shot, which injured them both inside the car before leaving the scene. The man was brought to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition and the woman chose not to be treated, SPD said. The suspect has not been caught, but SPD asks anyone with information to call the Violent Crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000.

Police search for black Tesla that may have video of Pioneer Square mass shooting; victim remembered
Seattle Police are searching for the driver of a Black Tesla, possibly a Model Y, that was driving in Pioneer Square early Saturday morning. They believe the car may have recorded video footage of the incident that could help police identify a possible suspect. 'We know that these vehicles are equipped with video evidence and that they write over very quickly,' said Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes. 'So it's important to get that information out now.' The shooting left three people dead and one person fighting for their life Saturday. It happened just after 1 a.m. near South Washington Street and 2nd Avenue South. No arrests have been made. Police have not officially identified the victims, but a group of relatives visiting the scene Monday identified their loved one, 19-year-old Keilani Harris, as one of those killed. 'I just want my baby here,' said her mother, Christina Rivas. 'Being here, seeing where she laid. I have no words to describe what I'm feeling inside.' Harris's family will remember her uncontrollable laughter, her energy for life, and her never-ending support. 'I was able to tell her anything at any time,' her brother told KIRO 7. 'I will miss her really much,' added her little sister. Her family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses. Rivas is begging anyone with information to come forward. She said she has been frustrated with the lack of communication she's received about information coming out. 'I'm begging you to, please, anybody,' she said. 'No matter the smallest detail that you have that could lead to an arrest. Please.' Seattle police searching for suspect in double stabbing in Chinatown-International District
Two people were stabbed on Saturday night near Hing Hay Park in Seattle's Chinatown-International District, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) said in a release. SPD responded to an altercation at around 8:40 p.m. and found a 32-year-old man stabbed in the neck, the release said. Witnesses told police he got into an altercation with the suspect before being stabbed. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. Police say they also found a 37-year-old man with a laceration to his arm. He was treated at the scene and released with non-life-threatening injuries. SPD has not arrested any suspects but ask anyone with any information to call the Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.

2 dead in Rainier Beach, WA nightclub parking lot shooting
The Brief Seattle police are investigating a double homicide in Rainier Beach, where a security guard and a young man were fatally shot in a nightclub parking lot. Timeline At approximately 3:30 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting in a nightclub parking lot located in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South. Upon arrival, officers found a security guard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. While providing medical aid to the guard, officers discovered another victim with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The Seattle Fire Department arrived on the scene and pronounced the second victim, a young man, deceased. The injured security guard was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts. Police blocked off the area, and detectives responded to process the scene. The suspect, or suspects, fled the area before police arrived, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
