In a video posted on Tuesday (12 August), the 58-year actor channeled her iconic character Nessa Jenkins as she pulled a straight face and said in a Welsh accent: 'Oh, what's occurring.'
'I'll tell you what's occurring", she continued, before shaking off the persona and explaining that she has decided to join the social networking app after 'many years' due to a number of fake accounts posing as her.
'So, I'm starting my Instagram journey much later than everybody else', she announced, saying that followers can expect some work posts, some personal posts and 'sometimes nothing at all'.

US Vice-President JD Vance has met The Apprentice's Tom Skinner for a barbecue and some beers ahead of his breakfast with Nigel Farage. He was a proper gent. "Lots of laughs and some fantastic food. A brilliant night, one to tell the grand kids about mate. Bosh." Pictures from the night show the pair smiling and showing thumbs up, with Skinner dressed in a shirt and tie while Vance opted for a more casual short-sleeve shirt. This comes ahead of a meeting between the US vice-president and Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage tomorrow. The pair will have breakfast in the Cotswolds as Vance enjoys both business and pleasure during his UK summer holiday. Already, Vance has held meetings with a number of other political figures during his trip, including Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick. He had tried to set up a meeting with his friend Kemi Badenoch but their schedules were not compatible. Vance has shown an increasing interest in Reform UK, with it being reported in July he had asked Peter Mandelson about the party, noticing that "they're doing very well". Other attendees at Monday's barbecue were Cambridge academic James Orr and Tory MP Danny Kruger. Describing the image of Vance and Skinner at the event, the former Apprentice star said: "Here is a pic of Me and Vice President towards the end of the night after a few beers. "I'm overdressed in my suit, but when the VP invites you to a BBQ, you don't risk turning up in shorts an flip-flops. "Cracking night in the beautiful English countryside with JD, his friends and family. Once in a lifetime. Bosh." Skinner has found himself catapulted to fame over recent years, following his appearance on The Apprentice in 2019. More recently, his posts on social media have struck a chord among many, with some urging him to run for political office. His meeting with one of the most powerful political figures globally could be a natural stepping stone towards that. VANCE HOLIDAYING ACROSS UK JD Vance 's trip to the UK has seen him travelling through the Cotswolds and southern England with his family. The vice-president, his wife Usha, and children Ewan, 8, Vivek, 5, and Mirabel, 3, were seen travelling together in an extensive motorcade. Some locals were left disgruntled, however, as he visited a posh farm shop in the area - leading to a number of road closures and security checkpoints manned by police with sniffer dogs. His 18-strong motorcade caused disruption around Chipping Norton as the VP visited the Daylesford Organic farm shop. Several large black SUVs carrying people believed to be Secret Service agents were seen parked on the driveway. It came after a meeting with Foreign Secretary David Lammy at Chevening House in Kent on Friday. The pair are understood to have forged an unlikely friendship, even spending time with each other's families outside of business meetings. During their meeting, the VP urged Britain to avoid the "very dark path" of silencing free speech. He warned that the West has grown "a little too comfortable with censoring" during his press conference with the foreign secretary. He said: "I think the entire collective West, the transatlantic relationship, our Nato allies, certainly the United States under the Biden administration, got a little too comfortable with censoring rather than engaging with a diverse array of opinions." Mr Vance has previously slammed Britain for enforcing some of the toughest restrictions on free speech globally. In February, during a televised meeting between Sir Keir Starmer and Donald Trump in the Oval Office, the Vice President flagged that "infringements on free speech" are now impacting not only Brits but also American tech firms, "and by extension American citizens". Vance's latest tirade comes after the UK launched a divisive new Online Safety Act which targets children's social media usage.

During the first episodes of With Love, Meghan, which aired in March, the duchess's culinary tips included how to plate up a takeaway and tie a bow around a bag of shop-bought pretzels. And, if this trailer promoting series two is anything to go by, things look set to be just as ridiculous. In the same week it was revealed that Harry and Meghan's Netflix deal has been 'downgraded', the Duchess of Sussex shows her skills slicing bread, crumbling cheese, cutting a cucumber and washing fruit. Groundbreaking. 'There are easy ways to show up lovingly,' she tells the audience in her trademark gobbledygook, as she packs what look like Jammie Dodgers into a cardboard box and ties string around them. 'I love finding new ways to show people you care,' she trills. The eight-part series airs on August 26 and comes just five months after the first. Both were filmed at the same time. A 'holiday' special has been recorded too, for the Christmas period. Netflix will surely be hoping that this follow-up performs better than the first instalment, which was mercilessly mocked by critics and failed to crack the streaming giant's top 300 programmes. Netflix claims: 'Meghan returns with a fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery ... Meghan and her guests explore bold flavours, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life.' Special guests include: model and TV producer Chrissy Teigen, American chef Christina Tosi, British Michelin-starred chef Clare Smyth, restaurateur David Chang, British-Indian podcaster Jay Shetty and former Queer Eye presenter Tan France. Not quite A-list, then, and some of her guests aren't without controversies of their own. Teigen, who is married to singer John Legend and has her own food brand, Cravings, is shown in Meghan's home 'getting creative and learning something new'. 'Little things like this make me so happy,' gushes Teigen who, four years ago, had to issue an apology for her earlier cyber-bullying of US reality star Courtney Stodden, who was then just a teenager. As well as prepping food, we see Meghan arrange flowers, sit with a potter's wheel between her legs and make what might be a tea towel (it's hard to tell). Harry is nowhere to be seen –this is Meghan's baby – but he gets a passing mention when she tells chef Jose Andres that Harry doesn't eat lobster.

Shrek 5 release date is delayed until 2027 as fans say they all 'know why'
The release of Shrek 5 has been delayed until summer 2027. The upcoming DreamWorks' movie — whose teaser was slammed by fans — has been pushed back six months, moving from December 23, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Upon hearing the news, initially reported by Variety, fans commented online that they 'know why' the beloved franchise's latest installment has been stalled. 'We all know why,' Instagram user @taco_chacos wrote, while @solomon_br0 demanded, 'Fix that animation.' Eagle-eyed viewers called out the studio earlier this year after they noticed changes to Shrek's appearance. They accused animators of giving the titular character 'rhinoplasty, lip filler, cheek implants, and a jaw shave' among other tweaks. Meanwhile, Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz will return to lend their voices to Shrek, Donkey and Fiona respectively. Eddie has suggested that Shrek 5 will be packed full of comedy just as the preceding films have been. The 64-year-old actor told Extra in June: 'I've recorded some great stuff. You know, we don't get a full script when we do the Shrek movies. We get the dialogue that we're doing for each session. And I know I've been doing some really funny stuff.' Eddie explained that he will only get to see his co-stars at the premiere of the movie as all of his voice work for the picture was done alone. He said: 'At the end of the movie or when the movie comes out, we see each other at the premiere, but we don't see each other the whole movie. 'It's all just you by yourself and a microphone.' The Hollywood fixture revealed that Donkey is getting his own standalone film that will begin production in September. Asked if Shrek 5's animation is being worked on now, he told ScreenRant in July: 'No, they're still doing voiceover stuff. We're still in the booth, and literally, we're still doing Shrek. 'We start in September on Donkey. We're doing a Donkey one, and that'll be three years from now, but we're about two years into Shrek 5. Still in the booth and about to start Donkey in September.' The Beverly Hills Cop star confirmed that Donkey will be getting in his own film in the same way that Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) has previously and that the picture will see him have his 'own little story with his dragon wife.' 'They've written this funny story. We're doing that, starting that in September,' he reiterated. The prospect of Shrek 5 was first discussed by Illumination founder Chris Meledandri in 2023 as he expressed hope of reuniting the original cast for the movie. The film producer told Variety: 'We anticipate the cast coming back. Talks are starting now, and every indication that we've gotten is there's tremendous enthusiasm on behalf of the actors to return.'
