
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 with up to 36 hours of playback time launched in India
OnePlus has unveiled the Bullets Wireless Z3 neckband earphones in India, targeting users who prefer neckbands over true wireless earbuds due to design or battery concerns. These new earphones come at a lower launch price than the previous Bullets Wireless Z2 model from 2022. The Bullets Wireless Z3 will be available for purchase starting June 24, 2025.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 is priced at ₹1,699. Sales will begin at noon on June 24 through multiple channels, including OnePlus.in, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, OnePlus Experience Stores, and several offline retailers such as Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and Bajaj Electronics. The earphones come in two colour options: Mambo Midnight and Samba Sunset.

The design of the Bullets Wireless Z3 closely follows its predecessor, the Bullets Wireless Z2. The neckband weighs just 26 grams and aims to offer comfort during various activities, including commuting, exercising and handling calls. It houses 12.4mm dynamic drivers intended to deliver balanced sound with bass, mids, and highs. The earphones support AAC and SBC codecs to ensure compatibility and consistent audio quality on different devices. Their frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, while the maximum sound pressure level reaches 102 dB with an impedance of 32 ohms. These features make the neckband suitable for music, movies, and calls.

OnePlus highlights the battery life as a key feature of the Bullets Wireless Z3. The earphones include a 220mAh battery that can provide up to 36 hours of playback at 50 percent volume, claims the company. Additionally, the device also supports fast charging through a USB Type-C port, which the company claims offers up to 27 hours of use after just 10 minutes of charging. The Bullets Wireless Z3 uses Bluetooth 5.4 and maintains a connection range of up to 10 meters. It also supports Google Fast Pair for quick connection with compatible Android devices and includes smart assistant integration.

Furthermore, the control options on the neckband include single, double and triple presses, as well as press-and-hold functions. Magnetic earbuds automatically play or pause audio when separated or snapped together. The earphones have an IP55 rating, which offers resistance to sweat and water splashes.

Amazon announced on Thursday that it will invest over Rs 2,000 crore in 2025 to expand and enhance its pan-India operations network. The investment will focus on network expansion and upgrades to ensure faster and more reliable customer service, drive advancements in technology and innovation, and improve the well-being of employees and associates, the company stated in a release. The investment announcement comes at a time when India's e-commerce market is booming, fuelled by broadband penetration, affordable smartphones, digital payments, increasing spends from affluent and middle-class households, as well as a mobile-first, digitally-charged younger population. India E-Commerce Landscape Companies like Amazon and Walmart's Flipkart, as well as smaller online players have reshaped India's e-biz landscape over recent years investing billions of dollars into the booming e-commerce market in the country, which as per some estimates, is poised to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21 per cent and reach USD 325 billion in 2030. Amazon's investment booster may create a challenge for these existing e-commerce platforms likes Flipkart, Meesho. Announcing the Rs 2,000 crore-plus infusion, Amazon said the new investment builds on top of its investments in creating an operations network that helps the company deliver to all serviceable pin-codes across India. Buildings in Amazon's operations network, both existing and new, are designed with technology and efficient building systems to minimise energy usage. Amazon fulfilment centres are designed to make them safe and more accessible to people with disabilities, the company said, adding it focuses on improvements in cooling solutions, safety initiatives, and resting areas to ensure well-being and safety and provide an inclusive work environment. These strategic investments show Amazon's focus on strengthening its operational footprint in India, sellers, and enhancing customer convenience while driving growth for local economies, it said. Amazon India will invest over Rs 2,000 crore( $233 million) this year to enhance its pan-India operations network. On Thursday, the company announced that the investment will be used to expand and upgrade operations infrastructure, improve associate safety and well-being programs, and develop new tools and technology for its fulfillment network. Amazon plans to leverage these investments to launch new sites and upgrade existing facilities across its fulfilment, sortation and delivery network. This investment will enhance processing capacity, improve fulfillment speed, and increase efficiency across the company's operations network that will help Amazon serve customers across India faster and more reliably, the ecommerce giant said in a release. Apart from this, the company will continue to invest and expand initiatives aimed at improving the health and financial well-being of employees and associates across the operations network. This includes expanding programs like 'Ashray' – to provide dedicated rest points for delivery associates, even those not delivering for Amazon – offering seating, water, charging stations, and washroom facilities; 'Samridhi' - a financial well-being program focused on financial education and personal finance support for associates and drivers; 'Pratidhi' program supporting children of associates with scholarship; and 'Sushruta' to address the healthcare needs of truck drivers, the company added in the release. Recently, Amazon launched a nation-wide initiative to offer free health check-ups to over 80,000 delivery associates and partners through medical camps by the end of 2025. "For over a decade now in India, we have been focused on building the best-in-class logistics infrastructure—designed to deliver with safety, speed, scale, and reliability for our customers across the country.
