Samsung's upcoming flagship tablet is getting tough competition months before launch
One of the brands that are trying to gain a little bit of market share before Samsung introduces its new flagships is Honor. The Chinese company is almost ready to launch its top-tier slate, the MagicPad 3. The MagicPad 3 is supposed to be introduced sometime in June, which is why Chinese tipsters have already started to leak information about the upcoming flagship tablet.
Famous leaker Digital Chat Station has just posted on Weibo MagicPad 3's key specs, and judging from what they're claiming, it appears that the MagicPad 3 might not bring so many upgrades as it should if Honor wants to convince customers their products are better than the competition's. The first disappointment is that the MagicPad 3 apparently comes with a slightly downgraded display. The previous model, MagicPad 2, has a 12.3-inch OLED display with 1920 x 3000 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the MagicPad 3 is rumored to feature a 13.2-inch LCD display, probably with a similar 144Hz refresh rate. The main issue is that the quality of panel (OLED vs. LCD) is definitely in favor of the MagicPad 2.
On the bright side, the MagicPad 3 seems to have a slightly higher display, so that's a plus for those who are looking for very big tablets. Besides that, the reliable tipster says the MagicPad 3 will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which isn't too bad even though this chipset was launched two years ago. The fact that the Galaxy Tab S11 is said to pack MediaTek's Dimensity 9400, a chipset released last year, even the odds a bit.
The MagicPad 2 is Honor's most powerful tablet to date | Image credit: Honor In any case, the powerful chipset is paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal memory. As you can imagine, Honor will offer customers the option to choose from different storage sizes, depending on their needs and budget. Also, DGS claims the MagicPad 3's battery will support 66W wired charging, but didn't say anything about its size. For reference, the MagicPad 2 has a 10,050 mAh battery with 66W wired charging support, so there doesn't seem to be any changes when it comes to charging speeds.Honor's MagicPad 3 will be introduced at some point in June and should be available in three different colors – Moon Shadow White, Floating Gold and Starry Sky Gray, at least that's what the tip says.

A Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition is coming
Vlad, 09 August 2025 The Realme 15 Pro went official last month, and now it seems like Realme is working on a Game of Thrones Limited Edition version of the device. This was just certified for sale in Malaysia by SIRIM alongside the normal Realme 15 Pro, revealing that both variants will be for sale in the country in the near future. The themed edition is expected to have the exact same specs as the normal model, but of course it should be heavily Game of Thrones themed, from the design of the back to the software - and we wouldn't be surprised to see some GoT themed trinkets thrown in the (presumably also special) box. The Realme 15 Pro has a 6.8-inch 1280x2800 OLED screen with 144 Hz refresh rate and 6,500-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC at the helm, 8/12GB of RAM, 128/256/512GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP selfie snapper, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. Michail, 09 August 2025 According to the latest report from the International Data Company (IDC), global tablet shipments grew by 13% during the April-June (Q2) period, reaching 38.3 million units. The growing shipment volume was largely driven by replacement cycles, new device launches, and state subsidies in China. Apple led the global tablet market in Q2 with 12.7 million shipments and a 33% market share. The Galaxy S26 Ultra's RAM type revealed
Ivan, 08 August 2025 Renowned Samsung insider Ice Universe shared the RAM details of the upcoming S26 Ultra in a post on X. He shared that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X RAM, the same type as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It's unclear if the capacity will change as that hasn't been upgraded since the first Galaxy S20 Ultra in 2020. Now, 12GB is more than enough, and it's unlikely that you'll run out of RAM on your phone under normal circumstances. But in recent years, competing Android flagships have normalized 16 GB of RAM as a base, and some go as high as 24 GB. So, if the S26 Ultra will indeed have 12GB, it will look underpowered compared to the likes of the Xiaomi Ultra, the OnePlus 15, Google's Pixel 10 series, and other rivals. Currently, only the iPhone is still using less than 12GB at 8GB. Source (since deleted)
