Andy Cohen shuts down rumors: The Real Housewives of New York City isn't going anywhere
The
Real Housewives of New York City
loyalists can all exhale—one way or the other. That's because, according to exec producer
Andy Cohen
, the hit
Bravo
franchise is not leaving anywhere.
On May 13 during an appearance on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live, the 56-year-old Bravo leader quashed the swirling speculation that New York City's version of the reality show had been canceled.
Setting the record straight, Cohen stated, "I don't know how else to say it, we are between seasons on the Housewives."
He continued to say that the casting is already in full swing. "Last week when I was here, Bravo execs sat down with 10 possible new Real Housewives of New York. This is referred to as the casting process between seasons and it's well underway. That's why nothing has been announced."
Though there were reports speculating cancellation, Cohen waved the rumors away as "really odd," reiterating that the show is merely in transition.
"It just keeps going on and on. There you go," he concluded, closing down speculation.
After a bumpy 13th season, Bravo took a leap of faith early in 2022 and relaunched RHONY with all-new cast members. Fans got to know Brynn Whitfield, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Ubah Hassan, and Sai De Silva, and Racquel Chevremont was going to join up for season 15.
Although the reboot introduced fresh vision and cool style, the new cast drew criticism for appearing to lack natural chemistry.

Cohen recognized the hiccups in a November 2024 Deadline interview. "I think the group dynamic is a little bit of a challenge this season. The rap on the group in Season 1 was, 'Oh, there's not a lot of history there.'"
But Cohen is positive that the cast has grown. "They spend a lot of time together and they are a strong group," he said. "I believe greatly in this group of women. I think they're aspirational. I think they're entertaining to watch. I think the clothes and the access to a new New York is all we wanted it to be."

Aashima Mahajan talks about her experience of working with A. R. Rahman in ‘Thug Life'
Playback singer Aashima Mahajan, who has crooned the song 'Jinguchaa' from the upcoming film 'Thug Life', has spoken up on the process of recording the track, and working in tandem with the Oscar and Grammy-winning music composer A. R. Rahman. Aashima has sung both the Hindi and Telugu versions of the song. The singer admitted that Telugu being a new language, posed a challenge for her as she required more takes to record the song compared to its Hindi version. The singer told, 'For the Hindi version, we recorded two to three takes, and based on the requirement of the song, he chose the one he liked. The Telugu version was a bit tougher for me and took more time and effort'. 'Jinguchaa' is a vibrant and celebratory song that has captivated audiences with its infectious energy and star-studded visuals. Aashima Mahajan shares the vocals with Sukhwinder Singh, Ronkini Gupta & Vaishali Samant, adding to the festive spirit of this foot-tapping number. The lyrics are penned by veteran megastar Kamal Haasan and the video features performances by Silambarasan TR, Sanya Malhotra, and Kamal Haasan. 'Since I don't speak Telugu, I had a pronunciation guide who helped me with the diction, learning how to pronounce the consonants and vowels correctly. I already knew the melody and emotions in the Hindi version, but switching to Telugu meant learning a new language, where even the word placement changes depending on the meaning. So, it was a bit of a challenge, but I really enjoyed the process. We ended up recording and had a lot of fun', she added. The word 'Jinguchaa' translates to 'celebrations'. Aashima is an alumnus of A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory. Talking about her experience of working with A.R. Rahman, the singer said, 'It's incredibly rewarding to be part of such a beautiful and globally acclaimed project, especially with maestros like A.R. Rahman and Mani Ratnam were involved. I feel truly overwhelmed to see that the track is still trending and receiving so much love from audiences. My heart is filled with warmth and gratitude for all the appreciation the song has received'. 'Working with A.R. Rahman Sir has been nothing short of a dream come true for any singer. He is a force of music, almost a celestial soul, yet his aura is both empowering and calming, he has a way of instantly putting you at ease. I will never forget the moment when, after listening to my album track, he said I have the potential to be the Indian version of Adele. That compliment means the world to me and I will keep that in my heart forever,' she added.

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 OTT Release Date: When and where to watch return of hit reality show
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 OTT Release Date: Get ready to clink your champagne glasses and clutch your designer pearls, the Miami heat is back, and it's not just the weather. The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 is officially hitting our screens on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, with episodes available to stream the very next day on Peacock. Indian audiences can watch it on JioHotstar starting June 12, 2025. So, what's happening this season? It's Miami, baby, where the friendships are fabulous, the betrayals brutal, and the wardrobe budget could fund a small country. Season 7 picks up with the core five returning: Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Guerdy Abraira, and Julia Lemigova. But just when you thought you knew the cast inside out, in walks Stephanie Shojaee, a real estate maven with a private jet, a luxury lifestyle, and an opinion on everything. Alexia is reeling from an emotional gut punch - her husband Todd has filed for divorce, and while she's trying to stay strong, the cracks are beginning to show. Lisa, meanwhile, seems to be living the high life - Milan Fashion Week, a new love interest in tech entrepreneur Jody Glidden, and a new high-rise condo. Julia Lemigova is expanding her world, literally. She and her wife Martina Navratilova have adopted two boys, and the family joy is palpable. As for Guerdy, she's officially cancer-free and trying to get back to herself. And Larsa? Oh, Larsa. If you thought her very public breakup with Marcus Jordan would be off-limits, think again. From allegations of threatening texts to emotional unravelings on camera, Larsa is once again serving her signature mix of drama and glam. A quick look back: What went down in Season 6? Last season ended like a champagne cork to the face. Guerdy bravely revealed her breast cancer diagnosis, and we saw an unusual moment of unity among the women, but as always, that truce was temporary. Lisa's nasty split from Dr. Lenny Hochstein kept everyone talking, with courtroom chaos and custody battles bleeding into every episode. Alexia was in full 'Cuban Barbie' mode, defending her marriage while fending off rumours and outbursts. Julia and Martina tried to rebuild their connection after Martina's cancer diagnosis, and Larsa's relationship with Marcus was a hot topic, with tongues wagging about the age difference and family tensions. The magic (and madness) of The Real Housewives of Miami is no accident. The series is executive produced by reality royalty: Matt Anderson, Nate Green, Cooper Green, Maty Buss, Bill Fritz, James Brangert, and, of course, Bravo's kingpin, Andy Cohen. Sounds exciting?
