Pink's husband Carey Hart unveils graphic post-surgery photos after 'nasty' motocross crash

Daily Mail18-05-2025

Pink's husband Carey Hart got candid about his recent motocross crash and showed the 'nasty' injuries he got with graphic Instagram photos.
The racer, 49 - who was forced to exit Special Forces earlier this year due to a fall while filming - opened up to his 1.3 million followers about what occurred and sent an apology to his wife for 'putting her through this, yet again.'
In one image, he could be seen sitting inside a hospital next to a monitor and another was taken of him doing a thumbs down towards the camera.
Hart - who tied the knot with the singer back in 2006 - also included a mirror selfie to offer a closer look at his midriff that was covered with bandages.
The next image was snapped after Carey removed the bandages to reveal a number of stitches on his torso.
The couple's children Willow, 13, and Jameson, eight, also visited their father as he recovered in the hospital.
In the caption, Carey humorously penned to his fans: 'Welp, I ran out of talent. I had a pretty nasty get off, practicing Thursday morning. Landed off a jump, bars knifed, and took the bar to the gut while going over the bars.'
'As I understand it, severed my small intestine from my colon,' he explained, before adding that he is 'fine' and will fully 'recover.'
'Just a big thank you to @feedbigb for talking me into going to the ER, and a huge thanks to @pink.'
Hart continued, 'As always does in these situations w/ me, she steps up and takes charge at the hospital. Sorry to put you through this, yet again.'
The racer then gave a special shout out to his children for visiting him and explained, 'Gonna rest up this week, and start the healing process. ***sorry to everyone I ghosted over the last couple days.
'There was a good reason for it. I'm gonna take a few days off, and I'll catch up with everyone next week,' Carey concluded.
Hart began his career with motocross racing in the 90s - and has suffered a multitude of injuries over the years.
During the X Games in 2001, he got hurt while attempting a backflip which resulted in him sustaining broken bones, broken ribs and a bruised tailbone.
Late last year in December, Hart told TooFab: 'My body's pretty destroyed. I'm in the high 80s for broken bones.'
Carey added at the time that he had just undergone his '22nd surgery on my knee' and he's 'gotten full use out of this body.'
The racer also told the outlet, 'I have great doctors. I have great, amazing doctors. And that's what keeps me pushing and doing stupid s**t... I'm very stubborn.'
Elsewhere in the interview, the father-of-two also reflected on his career with motocross racing.
'I've had a very successful career. I'm in my super extreme twilight of my career. I'm lucky enough to still do it. But I haven't had a chance to really push and challenge myself since probably my early 30s...'
And during the third season of Special Forces - which aired earlier this year - Hart was forced to medically withdraw due to a fall.
While talking to Us Weekly about his exit from the show, Hart explained that he had tripped over a 'plastic speed bump thing for all the cables' while running in the mud.
He ended up injuring his 'bad ankle' and expressed that he needs to get 'that ankle fused next year.
'I have no cartilage left in that ankle - and I tripped and I hit the ground and I put my hand out. So I initially felt my wrist more than anything and completed it.'
In 2008, Carey lost his brother Tony after he sustained injuries while motocross racing.
'I've always cherished family, and it's kind of hard to put into words the impact, like the death of my brother was a really, really hard and long grieving period,' he stated in an episode of Special Forces, per People.
He recalled, 'My brother was racing for me, and unfortunately he had a crash on the track. He slid up the track and hit the guardrail head first and had a head injury.'
Carey took time off from racing after his brother's passing and explained, 'I had to get my brother's back. I had to plan the funeral. I had to call his mother like I had to do all this stuff and not miss a beat.
'And I think I unpack things over the next, you know, three or four or five years on my own time.'
Days before updating his fans about his recent crash, Carey had taken to Instagram to share a picture of his bike from Indian Motorcycle.
'FINALLY getting some shake down/break in miles on my all time favorite @indianmotorcylce. Can't wait to let it eat in the canyons soon,' he had written in the caption earlier this month.
Pink and Hart tied the knot in January 2006 after the Who Knew singer proposed to him during one of his races in 2005. Two years later, the pair took time apart.
But in 2009, the performer announced that they were back together after undergoing marriage counseling.
The pair - who share Willow, 13, and Jameson, eight - also celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Carey shared a loving tribute to his wife by uploading both a present day and throwback photo of the couple.
'19 years married today to this amazing woman @pink. For over 20 years we've traveled the world, made a family, and created amazing memories & life together.

Tragic last post of Race Across The World's Sam Gardiner revealing ‘bucket list' trip before his death aged 24

THE last post of a Race Across The World contestant who tragically died following a car crash showed him enjoying "pure beauty". Sam Gardiner, 24, had been driving on the A34 near Manchester on the night of May 26 when his car suddenly left the road. 5 5 5 It rolled before eventually landing on its side, Greater Manchester Police said. The contestant featured in the BBC show's second series in 2020 alongside his mum Jo. In an emotional tribute, the contestant's dad Andrew said: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Sam in a terrible accident. "Sam left us far too soon, and whilst words will never fully capture the light, joy and energy he brought into our lives, we hold on to the memories that made him so special. "Sam was adored by his family. As a son, brother and nephew, he was loyal, funny and fiercely protective." His last Instagram post showed the contestant enjoying a stunning beach in Australia. Posting from Whithaven Beach, he captioned it: "This place needs to be on people's bucket list, pure beauty." He posed with parrots and showed off the gorgeous coastline in January 2024. Before his death, Sam had been working on the west coast of Scotland as a landscape gardener before making the journey down to Stockport, Greater Manchester. He had travelled south for a family birthday celebration earlier this week, according to his uncle. Speaking on Sam's time on the popular BBC show, Andrew added: "Race Across The World opened his eyes to the wonder of adventure and travel. "He was willing to go wherever the trail might lead and he touched everyone he met on the road. "He found great happiness working as a landscape gardener on the west coast of Scotland. "Sam brought warmth, laughter and a smattering of chaos wherever he went. He leaves behind a huge hole in our hearts. "We will miss him endlessly, but we'll also remember him with smiles, tall tales, and a depth of love that will never fade." The landscape gardener and his mum traversed South America in their appearance on Race Across The World. While they were unable to compete in the final leg, as they ran out of money, Sam described the experience as "life-changing". A spokesperson for the makers of Race Across The World said: "We are all deeply saddened to hear the tragic news about Sam. "Everyone who worked with him and indeed everyone who watched Sam could see just how precious and transformative the trip was for both him and his mum, Jo. "Sam embraced the seven-week trip with an energy, love and a determination that saw the pair enjoy adventures across Mexico to Argentina making audiences fall in love with them and their special bond as a result. "Since filming, both Sam and Jo have been an integral part of the Race Across The World cast family, and on behalf of us all from the BBC, production and the rest of the cast, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his parents, Andrew and Jo; his brothers, William and Charlie; his step mum Justine; his family and friends." In light of the tragedy, a poignant clip of the landscape gardener and his mum has resurfaced. "How many 19-year-old's can say they've done this and travelled with their mum," said Sam as they looked out into a sunset. Jo replied: "I think just you really. We've got long journeys, you're trying to balance it with enjoying yourself, but also have a budget, there's bound to be stresses. "But I think our relationship is still in tact even if you find me slightly more irritating that you used to," she laughed. "This has been really great fun," Jo added before the pair raced down sand dunes together. 5 5

Jessica Alba shows off her toned and tanned physique in a patterned bikini as she enjoys sun-soaked getaway to focus on 'friendship and selfcare'

She is never shy showing off her physique when on her many holidays. And Jessica Alba was flaunting her toned and tanned physique as she enjoyed her latest sun-soaked getaway this weekend. The actress, 44, slipped into a skimpy white and beige patterned two piece as she flashed a peace sign by the pool. Jessica had her abs and toned legs on display as she accessorised with a sunhat and shades while another shot showed her cooling off in the pool. After her divorce from Cash Warren, she penned in the caption of her post: 'Channeling chill - breathwork - friendship and selfcare.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the In her slew of snaps she also posed in a strapless leopard print swimsuit while spending time at a luxury spa where they were staying. Her holiday comes after she was recently spotted kissing and cozying up to a new mystery man just weeks after her divorce from Cash Warren. But recently an insider has shed light into Jessica 's life back on the market. While she seemed to have a potential new beau in London, a source insisted to Us Weekly that Jessica isn't dating anyone in particular at the moment and is merely 'embracing' the attention coming her way. '[Jessica has] gone on dates, but she isn't seeing anyone specific right now,' the source said. 'She's having a lot of fun going out with her girlfriends and being more spontaneous. She's embracing all the attention she's getting,' they added. Indeed, Jessica seems to be living it up now that she is single again. Her Instagram account shows her traveling to numerous destinations where bathing suits are a must, and she even celebrated her birthday with her gal pals in Las Vegas. 'A vegas birthday was not in the cards, but a time was definitely had,' Jessica mused on Instagram as she shared snaps from her travels to Sin City in early May. 'Grateful for the women who have been by my side through every season with nothing but love & support. No matter where we are in the world, we have the best time when we're together - te amo.' The post even included the L.E. Bowman poem 'A New Kind of Sexy', a telling clue of her post-divorce attitude. While Jessica may be an independent woman, she has had some company in recent weeks. Earlier this month Alba was spotted enjoying a very cosy-looking stroll with a man in London's Regent's Park. An onlooker told The Sun that the pair could be seen kissing on deckchairs and embracing as they strolled through the park. They said: 'They looked very intimate. They were hugging and holding hands as they walked through the park together. 'They rented out some deck chairs and they were sitting on them kissing. 'It looked very much like a new relationship.' Jessica cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reasoning behind her separation from Cash when it was announced earlier this year, with him soon filing afterwards. During the course of their marriage, the former couple welcomed three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, seven - and both have requested for joint physical and legal custody of their kids. Eight months before it was revealed that Jessica and Cash were 'set for divorce,' the Hollywood star uploaded her final anniversary post to celebrate 16 years of marriage. At the time, Alba shared an assortment of images to her main Instagram page of the pair from over the years. She also penned a cryptic caption to accompany the snaps while reflecting on how they have gone through 'thick and thin.' '16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go… Happy Anniversary @cashwarren,' the mother-of-three began. 'I'm proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family.' The Honey star concluded with, 'Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you.'

Aaron Taylor-Johnson smoulders as he flashes a glimpse of his hairy chest in an open shirt alongside Jodie Comer and director Danny Boyle at 28 Years Later event in NYC

Aaron Taylor-Johnson joined co-star Jodie Comer and director Danny Boyle at an event for their new zombie movie 28 Years Later in New York on Sunday. The British actor, 34, who sported a bushy beard, smouldered as he flashed a glimpse of his hairy chest in an open shirt while taking to the red carpet. Aaron cut a stylish figure in beige ensemble and teamed the shirt with a matching sports jacket, trousers and suede shoes. He completed with a gold necklace and flashy Omega watch, after signing a deal with the brand which provide timepieces to the James Bond franchise - in what fans believes was a hint he would soon be announced as the new 007. Meanwhile Jodie, 32, was the epitome of chic in a flowing black blouse which was worn with bell bottoms and pointed heels. DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The much-anticipated release of 28 Years Later is just weeks away, with fans left waiting two decades to discover the next instalment in the film series. And with the nation devastated by the Rage virus nearly three decades ago, this new film - released June 19 - will show insight into the vastly different ways humanity has adapted to survive. For one such community, this means complete isolation from the outside world, and in a new clip ahead of the film's premiere, star Aaron shares insight into this new addition to the 28 Days Later universe for the first time. In this new land, known as The Holy Island, humans are entirely self-sufficient, and only leave the community to hunt on the mainland, when the tide is low. Aaron plays Jamie a scavenger who is tasked with training his Spike to survive in the wilderness, before they embark on a deadly mission to the mainland. In an exclusive featurette, Aaron offers a glimpse at this new Holy Island, explaining: 'My character is part of this community that survived 20-odd years because they live on the Holy Island, disconnected from the mainland. 'They don't have doctors or medicine, can only eat what they can grow, they can go hunt, but they have to go hunt on the mainland.' 'And we have rules, if you leave the island and you don't return, there's no one going out to look for you, they're going to assume you've been infected and you're dead.' Aaron then explains that for his character's son, it's a 'rite of passage' to learn his father's hunting skills, in the hope that they can survive when they leave the island. The film is set on the real-life island of Lindisfarne, which is only accessible through a causeway during low tide. Jodie Comer also stars in the film as Jamie's wife Isla, while Ralph Fiennes plays Dr. Kelson, a survivor of the outbreak. The original film 28 Days Later starred Cillian as a bicycle courier who wakes up from a coma to discover the accidental release of a highly contagious, aggression-inducing virus has caused the breakdown of society. But despite frenzied speculation that he would be reprising his role in this sequel, when the trailer came out in December, with one character appearing to resemble a zombified form of Cillian's character Jim from the first film. However, this theory was quickly shut down when a London art dealer and model revealed he was the one playing the zombie character. Danny has since teased that viewers may get to see Cillian, 48, return after all, in one of the later films in the trilogy. Speaking during Sony's presentation at 2025 CinemaCon, the filmmaker hinted: 'Like all good things in life, you may have to wait a little while for [Cillian] to make his appearance'. 28 Years Later was filmed back-to-back with the second film, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, by director Nia DaCosta, which is being released in January 2026. Producer Andrew Macdonald previously confirmed that Cillian would not be appearing in 28 Years Later, but also suggested he could return for a future film. He told Empire: '[On] this, we wanted him to be involved and he wanted to be involved. He is not in the first film, but I'm hoping there will be some Jim somewhere along the line.' He added: 'He's involved at the moment as an executive producer, and I would hope we can work with him in some way in the future in the trilogy.' With a budget of $75million, 28 Years Later is the biggest film to be created with an iPhone and follows in the footsteps of a new Apple TV show. 28 Years Later hits UK cinemas on June 19, 2025.
