36 Genius Products To Improve Your Life

A pack of disposable shower hair catchers — they'll help stop your drain from getting clogged, which in turn will prevent you from having to stand in a puddle of soapy water. The best part? You don't even have to touch the hair to dispose of it — just lift up the adhesive catcher by the tab on either side and toss it in the trash. A Pikk-it tool designed to remove the tangled hair/fur that's lodged in your vacuum's roller brush (which is making it WAY less effective btw). You can also use it to spruce up your hairbrushes, so this is basically stray hair's worst enemy. A migraine relief cap you'll love so much you might just Google, "Can I marry an inanimate object?" You can throw it in the freezer or microwave for both hot and cold treatments, and you can also wear it as a sleep mask so you can enjoy some sweet overnight relief. It's also perfect for when your eyes get tired from endless doomscrolling. An Apple-compatible locator tag — it's basically an AirTag, except less expensive and it includes a waterproof case! It pairs with the iPhone's "Find My" app so you can keep track of any valuables you place the locator tag on, from suitcases to moving boxes. A pair of leakproof period "Cloudfeel" boyshorts that will make all your underwear seem downright lazy in comparison. These are designed to hold up to 12 tampons' worth of period blood, all while keeping you dry and comfy throughout the day thanks to the ☁️ Cloudfeel-Tech ☁️ fabric. They're also perfect for protecting you from bladder leaks — and think of all the money you'll save on disposable period products! A medium-firm Coop Home Goods pillow with adjustable memory foam filling so you can customize the size and shape to your exact needs! It's designed for side, back, and side sleepers (so, basically everyone), and reviewers say it's breathable and retains its shape all night. The rest of 2025 is about to be filled with the best sleep you've ever had. A no-scrub weekly shower cleaner that'll stop soap scum and residue from forming before they have a chance to take over your entire tub. Just spray and walk away — your future self will be so grateful. A pomade hair wax stick — it'll be a major timesaver on those days when you want to smooth down flyaways, cowlicks, or set baby hairs into place. Just swipe it over any targeted areas you want to smooth and it'll provide some seriously strong hold without any sticky residue. You'll wish you had this back in the day when getting ready for school, but now your hair will finally hold up in windy weather! A two-piece lounge set so soft and cozy you'll be tempted to hug yourself for buying it as you curl up on the couch to watch whatever limited series Nicole Kidman is starring in this week. The pants? Flowy and comfy with just the right amount of warmth. The cardigan? Trendy and airport-ready thanks to its oversize drop-shoulder design and chic buttons. Nicole Kidman? Snubbed at the Emmys as usual. A pair of waterproof wireless earbuds that reviewers say give AirPods Pro a run for their money. These have a six-hour battery life, meaning you can listen to the entirety of Short n' Sweet nine times in a row before needing a recharge. You'll also be so grateful for the waterproof design when one of your earbuds dives into the sink when brushing your teeth to "Please, Please, Please." A genius brush and squeegee combo so you can just swipe all your countertop messes directly into the sink. It even has a built-in ledge so you can hang it when not in use. Gold Bond's firming neck and chest cream, because your décolletage also deserves some special skincare attention. It contains salicylic acid to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, while glycerin and aloe add some extra hydration. Reviewers say it takes a few applications to see results — so start using it now, then marvel at your results later! A 3-in-1 wireless charger so you can power up your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time — no more wishing you had way more USB ports near your bed! The standout feature might just be the foldable design, meaning you can take it to the office with you so your noise-canceling AirPods never run out of juice. Imagine having to listen to your co-workers instead?! A very viral veggie chopper for anyone whose knife skills are worse than Kendall Jenner's. Just place your veggie on top of the interchangeable blades, press down on the lid, and you'll have a container full of perfectly chopped produce! More than 85,000 reviewers have upgraded their cooking game, thanks to this genius gadget. Future you will be so proud of how many fresh veggies you've consumed all year. A toilet wand with disposable cleaning heads (the cleaning solution is built-in — just activate with water!) that makes scrubbing the porcelain throne feel like less of a chore. The kit comes with six refill heads (and a handy dandy storage stand for the wand and refills) to get you started, so you can immediately say goodbye to that dirty toilet brush and get to scrubbing in about 30 seconds! A root touchup powder so you can stretch the time between salon appointments. Just use the attached sponge to pick up some powder and rub it directly on any grays, or use it on your hairline to create a fuller appearance. It'll become one of your new beauty lifesavers — just ask the 19,000+ reviewers who left a perfect 5-star rating. A remote control ring that is about to take your TikTok and Kindle game to the next level. Just press the button and it'll move you to the next page or simulate a swipe up so you can move on to the next TikTok. This is a game changer for those of us who like to eat while doom-scrolling. A set of Lock Laces to turn all of your sneakers into slip-ons, which is the height of convenience and also super helpful for people with limited motor skills. Now you can just slip your shoes on, pull the toggle cord to your preferred tightness, and go about your day! A pack of antibacterial paper soap sheets that will seriously come in handy when the public restroom you're using is out of that mysterious pink sludge they call soap. Just pull out a sheet, wet it, then get to lathering. A food tracker to help you keep track of your dog's feeding schedule — because let's be honest, you can barely keep track of your own schedule these days. Now you can have a handy record of when Fido last ate so you won't fall for his whimpers the next time he wants a late-night snack. A handy double-sided brush that will scrub away at every nook and cranny of your utensils, because giving them a quick swipe with your sponge is really not cutting it. Your silverware will be so sparkly clean you'll almost feel bad for storing it away in the utensil drawer. A bracelet tool so you can wear your favorite accessories even when nobody is around to help you deal with that annoying lobster clasp. Seriously, it's 2025 — bracelet clasp technology should be more advanced by now. A ridiculously helpful eyelash comb that solves one of the biggest beauty dilemmas: what do I do when my mascara clumps?! Put down the makeup wipes — this helpful little comb will remove the excess mascara and separate your lashes at the same time. It's also perfect if eyelash curlers make your lashes look smushed together. A clever neck reading light — it lasts for up to 80 hours on a single charge. 😮 It also has six brightness settings so you can crank it up while reading outside under the stars or turn it down when you're getting one last chapter in before bed. A duffel bag that's roomy enough to fit all the essentials for a weekend trip — you'll be so glad you don't have to lug a heavy suitcase around on any trips you take this year. The interior contains three pockets for organization and a bonus wet pocket to keep dirty laundry or soaked toiletries separate from your other clothes. A "one tripper" shopping bag that's unbelievably spacious — no really, it can replace up to four plastic bags! It's strong and stretchy enough to carry heavy produce, soda bottles, and anything else you typically dread having to lug from the trunk to the front door. A fog-free shower mirror with over 18,000 rave ratings that's perfect for shaving — or for making sure your facial cleanser removed every last bit of your pesky waterproof mascara. It even comes with an adhesive hook and features a shatterproof design, so no worries if you accidentally drop it while examining that zit on the side of your nose. An absolutely genius tool that lets you easily spread butter on your pans before cooking or directly on hot foods like corn on the cob or fresh bread. No more ~butter fingers~! A Bounce wrinkle release spray in a convenient travel size so you can take it with you on your next vacay. Seriously, who has time to iron while traveling?! There's also no telling if that dusty hotel iron is actually going to work. All you have to do is spray, tug the fabric a few times, then smooth the wrinkles away with your hand. It's also perfect for refreshing any clothes you plan to wear a few times during your trip, thanks to the fresh scent. A jar opening tool that will be an absolute lifesaver when that jar of Ragu is holding on to the lid like its life depends on it (to be fair, it kind of does). It has four different slots to help open a variety of jar sizes, and there's even a helpful hook at the top to help with pull-tab cans when it's a Chef Boyardee kind of night. A reviewer-loved scar gel that sinks in super quickly, so it's perfect to use on facial scars. The superstar scar-fading ingredients are panthenol, which promotes the production of new skin cells, and allantoin, which attracts moisture to the skin to help speed up the wound-healing process. It also works on new and old scars, so it's never too late to add this to your routine. A pack of the Mighty Patch Pimple Spot Treatment — they're made of a wound-healing gel called hydrocolloid that can drain fluids from any open pimples and cover any that are already on the surface. These patches have racked up over 130,000 rave ratings, with many reviewers saying they're practically undetectable and adhere much better to the skin than other brands. Plus, your derm will be very relieved that you aren't popping it! I Dew Care's dry shampoo powder to quickly mop up the oils that are absolutely ruining your Sunday brunch 'do. This one has a powder-puff applicator so you can apply it directly to your roots (you know, the source of all your oily troubles), and it also adds some extra volume as you brush it through. Reviewers say it instantly absorbs oil and doesn't leave a white residue behind. It's so easy to use that you'll wonder how you ever dealt with those messy spray cans. A 3D-printed battery organizer and dispenser, which is honestly so genius and helpful, it weirdly makes me a bit emotional? 🤔 Where has this been all my life?! You simply pop the batteries in at the top, grab one from the bottom when needed, and the rest will roll down so you can quickly and easily grab another. All you parents out there, this is about to become the MVP of your household. The ever-popular Revlon one-step hair dryer and volumizer with over 401,000 5-star ratings (😮) from Amazon customers. It'll dry your hair as you comb, meaning you can skip the blow-dryer and save a few minutes in your styling routine. The jaw-dropping before and after photos really speak for themselves. A tub of The Pink Stuff, which has become so TikTok-famous it's racked up 155,000 positive ratings. It'll completely revitalize your sink, bathtub, and neglected ovens with the help of a little elbow grease.

Apple fans slam change to iPhone app in iOS 26 as ‘just plain ugly': ‘A real mess'

Watch ya complaining about? Apple fans are divided over a surprisingly polarizing change introduced in the latest iOS 26 Beta: a redesign of the Clock app icon. What seems like a minor aesthetic tweak has sparked a wave of online backlash from iPhone users. 3 Apple fans are divided over a surprisingly polarizing change introduced in the latest iOS 26 Beta: a redesign of the Clock app icon. nikkimeel – Since 2013, the iPhone's Clock icon has featured a distinctive white clock face against a black square background — a familiar and functional design that many have grown attached to. However, the classic icon has been updated with iOS 26, which was unveiled this week at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). It now shows an all-white background with added clock markings around the outer edge. Though seemingly minor, the change has not gone unnoticed. Many iPhone users have taken to social media platforms, including X to vent their frustration. 'Am I the only one who didn't like the new clock icon?' one user asked, according to the Daily Mail. 3 The clock now shows an all-white background with added clock markings around the outer edge. X/Apple Hub Another was more blunt: 'Apple has made a real mess with this 26. I won't be downloading it ever.' The popular Apple fan account @applesclubs posted a side-by-side comparison of the old and new icons, inviting followers to weigh in — and the responses were overwhelmingly in favor of the original design. 'iOS 18 can't read iOS 26,' one user quipped, while another called the updated icon 'just plain ugly.' The icon update is part of a broader design overhaul in iOS 26, which introduces what Apple calls a 'Liquid Glass' aesthetic — translucent, dynamic visual effects that respond to content and context. According to Alan Dye, Apple's Vice President of Human Interface Design, the redesign aims to make software 'intuitive, beautiful, and delightful.' In addition to the Clock icon, other app icons have also received visual refreshes. AirDrop now features a blue background with translucent white lines, while the Translate app swapped its black background for blue. Despite these broader changes, it's the new Clock design that seems to have triggered the strongest reactions. Currently available only to developers, iOS 26 is expected to roll out to the public this fall. 3 The icon update is part of a broader design overhaul in iOS 26, which introduces what Apple calls a 'Liquid Glass' aesthetic — translucent, dynamic visual effects that respond to content and context. Police issue mosh pit warning ahead of Download festival in Leicestershire this weekend

Police are warning rock fans at this weekend's Download festival about the potential for accidental calls while in the mosh pit. Leicestershire Police issued an alert ahead of the event at Donington Park, which begins on Friday. Posting on Facebook, the force said, in previous years, they received "a rise of nearly 700 extra 999 calls" caused by energetic dancing at Download. "The tech assumed that people in mosh pits had been in a collision, causing 999 contacts and abandoned 999 calls," said the post. Police have blamed mobiles and wearable gadgets featuring technology which alerts emergency services when it suspects there has been an accident. The technology can inadvertently activate when hardcore rock, heavy metal, or punk fans are involved in aggressive styles of dancing - sometimes called "thrashing", "slam dancing" or "pogoing". Certain iPhone and Apple Watch models operate a "crash detection" feature - turned on by default - which is designed to identify a severe car crash and connect people to emergency services. Even if people are unaware that the feature has been activated, the device will call the emergency services automatically after a 30-second countdown. Some Android mobiles operate a similar service called "car crash detection". "All those calls had to be assessed, with three outbound call attempts completed to ensure there is no threat, risk or harm, taking our contact handlers away from answering true emergency calls," police added. They recommended switching on airplane mode or disabling emergency alerts on wearable tech, as well as answering any callbacks so officers know fans are safe. Read more from Sky News: Some of the reactions to the post included "don't mosh too hard" and "be wary of the mosh pit". But another user commented: "Avoid false alarms and allow police to focus on crime." Headline acts at Download are Green Day on Friday, Sleep Tolken on Saturday and Korn on Sunday.
