Jennifer Lopez had the internet talking after her intoxicating performance at the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs). The singer and songwriter, who also hosted this year's ceremony, made jaws drop when she locked lips with both male and female dancers during her epic opening number. While Lopez's on-stage act garnered mixed reactions, a report has now claimed that her performance at the AMAs was a PR move following her divorce from Ben Affleck.
Jennifer Lopez's much-talked-about performance at the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) may have been a strategic move, a new report has suggested. The Daily Mail exclusively learned from a source that the 55-year-old singer-actor 'followed the direction of her PR.' They claimed that Lopez 'did exactly what she was told to do for her post-Ben [Affleck] comeback.' The actor parted ways with her ex-husband last year when she filed for divorce in August.
The former spouses' divorce was finalized in January this year. Since then, Jennifer Lopez has remained occupied with her back-to-back gigs, including the AMAs. The Daily Mail source continued to share that the singer 'is living her best life and has zero f—s to give right now.' The insider noted that she stayed 'brave' despite having 'dealt with so much uncertainty.' They even added that Lopez 'did not allow the negative commentary to bring her down.' Instead, she 'kept going and living her life.'
Besides her alleged PR move at the AMAs, Jennifer Lopez has recently been candid about her outlook on life. It's clear she is focusing on her career and having a good time. Lopez told PEOPLE during a recent interview that 'it seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy.' The musician added, 'Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good.' Lopez also expressed her excitement for her upcoming WorldPride gig and the 'Up All Night: Live in 2025' tour.

Mom Thought Her Toddler Was Just Playing. Then Something Caught Her Eye (Exclusive)

One evening, Alex Moore was playing with her 23-month-old daughter, Addy They were being silly and listening to nursery rhymes when all of a sudden, Addy started dancing Alex watched as her daughter slid off the bed and began doing little high-kick stompsAlex Moore and her husband, Christian, both work full-time. So after wrapping up their workdays and picking up their daughter from daycare, the North Carolina-based couple likes to wind down by laying in bed to decompress. One evening, Christian went to make dinner while Alex stayed back to play with their 23-month-old daughter, Addy. They were being silly and listening to nursery rhymes when all of a sudden, Addy started dancing. Alex watched as her daughter slid off the bed and began doing little high-kick stomps. "I had no idea what she was doing until she said 'cha cha??' " Alex, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. Alex goes on to explain that her daughter learned the "Cha-Cha Slide" by DJ Casper at daycare. She says her teacher, Ms. Mikaila, plays the song often and has been teaching the kids the steps. Although Ms. Mikaila had previously sent Alex videos of Addy dancing along to the "Cha-Cha Slide" at daycare, this was the first time she had seen her daughter perform some of the correct steps in person — especially the stomping and the 'hands on your knees' move. "She was walking around stomping her feet with almost a high-kick fashion, and I kept giggling because I'd never seen her stomp like that before," Alex, a aesthetics technician, says. In the moment, Alex pulled out her phone and recorded the sweet scene. Later, she decided to post it to TikTok, thinking, 'This is too good to not share with more people.' But then, the video quickly went viral, amassing more than 7.4 million views and 13,000 comments. "I knew she was demanding the cha cha slide at daycare' is in incredible statement in itself 😭," one user wrote. "and it is already knows her left and right ✅️❤️," someone else replied. Another person commented, "That's actually so impressive that she knows the cha cha slide at her age .. what an icon." Reading through the comments, Alex says she couldn't help but smile. "The kind of responses I've received from the video are the exact ones I was hoping," she says. " 'This made my day, thank you so much.' It was an added bonus to hear that my daughter could excel in a dance class, because what parent doesn't want to hear that their child has a knack for something?" "My daughter brings me so much joy every day, so I really loved that I could do that for other people," the mom adds. "Also hearing from other daycare employees that they'll start implementing the song into their classrooms for teaching directions, and dance teachers that she has amazing skills for her age — that feedback really stood out to me the most." Since her daughter is so young, Alex knows won't remember much from this time, but in teaching her about it in a few years, she hopes her daughter realizes that she made a lot of people smile when they felt like they couldn't. "Addy has taught me that children truly are like flowers: when they're given a loving environment, taught things with patience and in a fun way, they can blossom into the best versions of themselves," she says. "Along with truly being able to dance your little heart out when you feel it!" Read the original article on People

Lucille Ball Found Out She Was Pregnant When Her Medical Records Were Leaked During Radio Broadcast

Lucille Ball once learned she was pregnant while listening to a radio broadcast In his new book Desi Arnaz: The Man Who Invented Television, biographer Todd S. Purdum writes that Ball was on tour with her husband Desi Arnaz in June 1950 when she was listening to the radio in between shows The broadcaster then announced her pregnancy, after being tipped off by a medical lab stafferLucille Ball once found out she was pregnant not from her doctor — but from a radio broadcaster who had been tipped off by a medical lab staffer. In his new book Desi Arnaz: The Man Who Invented Television, biographer Todd S. Purdum writes that Ball was on tour with her husband Desi Arnaz in June 1950 when she learned about her pregnancy in between shows. At the time, Ball and Arnaz were starring in a vaudeville act that required an "exhausting schedule" and "vigorous physical stunts" from Ball. Off stage, they were trying for a baby. Writes Purdum: "In June 1950, during the New York run of their vaudeville show, Lucy was relaxing in her dressing room between shows listening to Walter Winchell's radio broadcast when she heard him announce she was 'infanticipating,' the columnist's lingo for 'pregnant.' He'd been tipped off by a medical lab informant before the Arnazes themselves had learned the news." The author writes that the couple, upon learning the news, then "trimmed the planned length of the tour," though it was in vain — just weeks later, Ball, suffered a miscarriage. Purdum writes in his book that Ball had more than one miscarriage during her marriage to Arnaz, with physicians ultimately discovering they had inadvertently closed a fallopian tube while treating her for one of the miscarriages. After reversing that procedure, Ball ultimately became pregnant again in 1950, at age 39. On July 17, 1951, Ball gave birth via caesarean section, to a baby girl: Lucie. Ball would later give birth a second time, in January 1953, to what was then arguably the most famous baby in America: Desi Jr. Desi Jr.'s birth came as the couple was starring in the now-iconic sitcom I Love Lucy, which premiered in 1951 and even incorporated their second child's birth. In interviews with the author, the now-adult children explained how different their parents were. Lucie recalled how her mother "took it personally" when one of the children would disappoint her. Desi, by contrast, "was not like that," she described. "He would get really angry and blow his stack, and be loud, but then he'd be done and it would be like it never happened," Lucie said, adding that Ball, by contrast, "would get personally offended by childhood behavior or what you said, because you should have known not to say that somehow, even though no one's taught you what to say." "And she would emotionally separate from you for however long she wanted to. And it would be sometimes days, sometimes weeks," she added. While audiences were delighted by his parents' relationship, Desi Jr. told Purdum that behind the scenes, Lucy and Desi were incredibly argumentative 'It wasn't good for anyone,' Desi Jr. told the author in the book. 'And we'll always remember when they sat us down and said, 'Look, you know, things aren't working.' I mean, I remember word for word.' Trump admin slams UK, Canada, Australia and others who sanctioned Israeli officials

The Trump administration slammed the U.K., Norway, Canada, New Zealand and Australia after the five nations imposed sanctions and travel bans—along with other actions—against Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. "These sanctions do not advance U.S.-led efforts to achieve a ceasefire, bring all hostages home, and end the war," Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement. "We reject any notion of equivalence: Hamas is a terrorist organization that committed unspeakable atrocities, continues to hold innocent civilians hostage, and prevents the people of Gaza from living in peace. We remind our partners not to forget who the real enemy is. The United States urges the reversal of the sanctions and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel." Israel Objects To Foreign Nations Sanctioning Its Officials Ben-Gvir praised Rubio for his statement, saying that "the American administration is a moral compass in the face of the confusion of some Western countries that choose to appease terrorist organizations like Hamas." He added that Israel would continue its fight against terrorism. Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar also thanked Rubio for being "a clear moral voice" and said the U.S. official's statement "should be a compass to the international community, to all those preaching [to] Israel, ignoring realities." Sa'ar condemned the U.K., Norway, Canada, New Zealand and Australia's "outrageous" actions against Ben-Gvir and Smotrich on Tuesday. He said the "actions and decisions against Israel also contribute to hardening Hamas' stance in the negotiations for the hostage deal—and distance it and the ceasefire." Read On The Fox News App Netanyahu Accuses The Uk, France And Canada Of 'Enabling Hamas' In a joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of U.K., Norway, Canada, New Zealand and Australia, Ben-Gvir and Smotrich were accused of inciting "extremist violence and serious abuses of Palestinian human rights." All five nations whose foreign ministers issued the joint statement have been critical of Israel as it pursued its post-Oct. 7 war against Hamas. In May, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the U.K., France and Canada of "enabling Hamas" after the countries demanded that Jerusalem halt its military campaign in Gaza. "I say to President Macron, Prime Minister Carney and Prime Minister Starmer: When mass murderers, rapists, baby killers and kidnappers thank you, you're on the wrong side of justice," Netanyahu said in a video statement. "You're on the wrong side of humanity and you're on the wrong side of history." Australia and New Zealand also issued a joint statement on the Israel-Hamas war in December 2024 in which they called for a ceasefire in Gaza and scolded Israel over its treatment of U.N. agencies, such as the controversial United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). In his Tuesday statement, Sa'ar said Israel will convene a government meeting early next week to discuss its response to the actions taken against the article source: Trump admin slams UK, Canada, Australia and others who sanctioned Israeli officials
