Buffalo Bills sign veteran wide receiver ahead of training camp
For starters, they have signed wide receiver David White, the team announced. The Western Carolina product was previously with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, and will now head to Buffalo to compete for a spot on the roster.
In addition to that, the Bills also waived punter Jake Camarda and wide receiver Kelly Akharaiyi and signed tight end Matt Sokol.
The Bills receiving corps will once again be the focus of training camp, as they need Keon Coleman to have a big Year Two. Elijah Moore and Joshua Palmer are two new additions to keep an eye on, as well, as the summer rolls on.

Big takeaways from the Steelers first padded training camp practice
Wednesday was a huge day for the Pittsburgh Steelers at Saint Vincent College. After rain on Tuesday caused the Steelers to postpone their first padded practice, the crowd came out in droves today to see some hitting and to see Pat McAfee broadcasting live from practice. McAfee, the fans and the team did not disappoint. Here are our big takeaways from practice. Calvin Anderson and Troy Fautanu dominate The Steelers' starting offensive tackles got the best of the Steelers' top edge rushers today. Troy Fautanu and Calvin Anderson each went 2-0 against T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith, respectively. Meanwhile, Broderick Jones remains sidelined with an injury. Calvin Austin burns Darius Slay One of the best plays of the day was wide receiver Calvin Austin turning on the jets and blowing past cornerback Darius Slay for an easy touchdown. Austin's speed might be the real X-Factor on the Steelers offense this season. Pat McAfee steals the show Practice was great but it was the live broadcast by Pat McAfee that stole the show. He had the fans fired up, players and coaches speaking freely and drew the biggest crowd Saint Vincent College had ever seen No big dust ups We expected a scrum or two between the offense and defensive lines but both sides kept their composure. Even in backs-on-backers, guys were physical and aggressive but hled it together. Another analyst steps up to defend Jalen Hurts after Cam Newton's harsh critique
Another established voice come to Jalen Hurts defense after cam Newton's verbal assault. No one loved beef like the late, great 'Drama King,' D.J. Kay Slay. If things were quiet and there wasn't any, he'd create some. If he were here, he'd be having a field day with the Jalen Hurts narratives if he hadn't passed on after a COVID-19 contraction in 2022. This seemed like a mere opinion a couple of years ago. Still, it's hard to think of a starting quarterback who is marginalized and disrespected more often than the Philadelphia Eagles starter. All he does is win. All people do is complain. If you only read the narratives, you'd think he was Trevor Lawrence or Justin Herbert... But, that probably doesn't make the point we're trying to communicate because people keep telling us those two are better players. Recently, Cam Newton joined the Jalen Hurts onslaught. That was surprising. If anyone joined Hurt's side, we would have assumed it would have been him, but no dice. Hurts found some support as Newton was criticized for his statements. The 2015 NFL MVP didn't waver. He doubled down. Most thought training camp would shift the focus away from this, but an established voice joined the discussion. And, he's backing Hurts. Chase Senior is an analyst and content creator over at Chat Sports. He hosts Eagles Now and the 49ers Report. He joined in on the Newton vs. Hurts discussion and did Philadelphia sports fans proud. We tried to play devil's advocate and offer a varying opinion just for kicks after that one, but we can't. Senior hit the nail on the head there. That sound you hear is Newton's jaw hitting the floor. Well done, Mr. Senior. There's seemingly nothing left to add after that level of excellence. That being said, we get back to the Eagles training camp news.
