Eric Musselman, USC hoops host Sacarmento Kings group for workout at Galen Center
"Awesome having @DeMar_DeRozan, @ZachLaVine, @TheDougChristie, and @masonjones2 at the Galen Center this morning," USC's head coach wrote on social media.
DeRozan, of course, is quite familiar with Galen Center, having played for the Trojans for a season in 2008-2009. That year, he led USC to a Pac-10 Tournament championship and the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where they fell to national runner-up Michigan State. Jones, meanwhile, played for Musselman when he was the head coach at Arkansas from 2018-2020.
Musselman is also familiar with Sacramento, having coached the Kings during the 2006-2007 season. After posting a 33-49 record, he was let go by the team after just one year.
Fortunately for Musselman, he has found far more success at the college coaching level than he did in the NBA. USC fans are certainly hoping that Musselman will continue the success that he had at Nevada and Arkansas with the Trojans.

Michigan State hockey releases non-conference schedule
So, I guess this is MSU's non-conference schedule. Michigan State hockey is gearing up to defend their back to back Big Ten championships, while also looking to make a run in the NCAA Tournament, something the program has fell short on the past few years. Now, it appears that the first step towards the 2025-26 campaign has been discovered. The non-conference schedule for Michigan State in 2025-26 has been reportedly released, with the Spartans having a very difficult schedule on deck, featuring some fun road trips, cool home series and the Great Lakes Invitational. ' The home series for the Spartans include New Hampshire, Colgate and an exhibition with the U18 United State National Development Team. The away series include a trip to Boston to face Boston University and a trip to the UP to face Northern Michigan. It is worth noting the Spartans do not currently have anything scheduled for the first week of the season, so there may still be movement in that regard: Contact/Follow us @The SpartansWire on X (formerly Twitter) and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Michigan State news, notes and opinion. Sixers' Tyrese Maxey works out with NBA champ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey is a maniacal worker as he is somebody who is always going to be in the gym working on his game and continuing to take steps forward as a player. He took steps forward as a leader in 2024-25 while also attacking against waves of defenders, and now, he is looking to take another step. Maxey was in the gym working with trainer Chris Johnson while working alongside 2-time NBA champion, and current Memphis Grizzlies guard, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The 12-year veteran out of Georgia has won titles with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and the Denver Nuggets in 2023. Maxey and Caldwell-Pope put in some work in the gym on a variety of jump shots as the young All-Star continues to soak up any knowledge he can from the veterans in this league. Maxey was limited to only 52 games due to a variety of injuries in what was a lost season for Philadelphia. Now, the Sixers will be looking for him to bounce back next to Joel Embiid and Paul George in order to bounce back from a miserable 24-58 season that was decimated by injuries and things they can't control.
