FORMER Celtic star Matt O'Riley is reportedly edging closer to the Brighton exit, with a number of clubs in Italy keen on the attacker.
It's being reported by Tuttosport that Serie A giants Juventus have been interested in the Denmark international for some time and now want to make a concrete bid for the 24-year-old.

The report says initial approaches have been very positive and it claims that O'Riley would welcome a move to Turin.
The Bianconeri are reportedly set to "guarantee him a five-year contract" worth around "£2.6million a year".
However, they will need to sell players such as Douglas Luiz, Weston McKennie and Fabio Miretti to raise funds to make the move happen.
Brighton are asking for £26m, which is slightly more than the £25m they paid Celtic for him last year.
The Hoops made a substantial profit on O'Riley after paying MK Dons just £1.5m for him in January 2022.
O'Riley made a huge impact in Scottish football, scoring 27 goals in more than a 100 games for the Hoops.
As well as winning the Scottish Premiership three times, he helped the club win a treble in the 2022-2023. He was also Celtic Players' player of the year the following season.
Just hours after completing his move from Celtic to Brighton he suffered a serious ankle injury on his debut against Crawley Town.
Despite the setback, he would go on to make 23 appearances that season, scoring twice and assisting three goals.
But he was left frustrated at being played out of position.
Also the 24-year-old isn't getting regular game time and has been attracting attention from other Serie A giants including Napoli and Roma.
Awkward Matt O'Riley moment has fans convinced 'he thinks he's still at Celtic'
Meanwhile, on Saturday O'Riley revealed he still has a soft spot for Celtic and follows the team's results.
He told the Celtic Way: "Even though I don't post that much on social media, I'm still watching every single game and trying to keep tabs on them.
"I'm still in contact with people.
"It's hard in football to keep contact with everybody because it moves so fast and things change, but I did make some good friends up there, and I'm still in contact with a lot of staff at Celtic, which has been nice."

Man Utd star rejects transfer offer and told he will 'never play for a big club'
Jadon Sancho has rejected a transfer approach to leave Manchester United and been told he will 'never play for a big club again'. The former England winger was hoping to earn a permanent move to Chelsea after being sent on loan to Stamford Bright last season. Chelsea had a £25m option to keep Sancho but instead decided to pay a £5m penalty to send him back to Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim has no plans to reintegrate Sancho into a first-team squad which is preparing for Sunday's Premier League opener against Arsenal. Sancho has been in talks with a number of Serie A clubs but received another transfer option this week in the form of Besiktas. In The Mixer: Exclusive analysis, FPL tips and transfer talk sent straight to your inbox every week – sign up, it's an open goal. The Turkish club's president Serdal Adali said: 'Just as much as the community wants him, I want him too. What matters is not only our desire, but also if the player wants to come to Turkey. 'We have a budget, and we will do our best to bring him here. Players like Jadon Sancho usually prefer clubs playing in the Champions League. 'Whether it happens today or not, it is hard to say. If it is possible, we will get him. Besiktas fans can rest assured.' But, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sancho has rejected a reunion with former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Turkey. The 25-year-old is believed to be holding out for a move to Italy and has therefore rejected Besiktas' advances, though his stance may change if he is still searching for a new club as the transfer deadline approaches. Manchester United are hoping to sell Sancho for around £20m, which would represent a massive loss on a player they signed for £73m in 2021. Ex-Old Trafford striker Teddy Sheringham believes Sancho's hopes of joining another 'big club' are slim following his recent struggles. The best moments of Sancho's career came across two spells at Borussia Dortmund but the Bundesliga club have ruled out another move this summer. Sancho did help Chelsea qualify for the Champions League and win the Conference League last season but his individual performances were largely underwhelming. 'Jadon Sancho will definitely not play for a big club ever again,' United hero Sheringham told Snabbare. 'He will probably tell you that he can and he will but not for me. 'I see that he's burned his bridges with the manager. He's not even got a place in the changing room. 'Maybe if he'd be given another chance he could work for what Amorim wants but I know from experience once you've gone down that path of being unhappy and wanting out that it's very hard to turn it around with the manager, with the supporters, with the other players. 'You've got to show an unbelievable mental desire to turn that around. It can be done, and I know he's a talented lad, but I would be very, very surprised if that was the case now.' Sancho is not the only member of Amorim's 'bomb squad' this summer, with United also hoping to sell Alejandro Garnacho and Antony. Rasmus Hojlund, meanwhile, is free to leave following the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig. AC Milan are interested in the Denmark international. Hojlund has spent two underwhelming seasons at Old Trafford but Sheringham sympathises with the 22-year-old. 'I like his battling qualities, his endeavour and his desire,' Sheringham added. 'That's what is needed when things are going tough. More Trending 'But for me, he hasn't had the service. If he was missing four chances a game, you'd look at him and go, how can he still carry on playing? 'But he's not. He's having one chance every three games and snatching at it and not scoring. You can't feed off things like that as a striker. 'You need to be having those four chances and grabbing two of them then getting your confidence from there. I really feel for him. I think it's harsh to criticise him given the way that Manchester United play.' It remains to be seen whether Hojlund will still be a United player by the time Arsenal travel to Old Trafford for a mouth-watering Premier League opener on Sunday. Alan Sheehan hopeful over Malick Yalcouye deal after he saw Swansea beat Crawley
Prospective new signing Malick Yalcouye was at the Stadium to see his potential future team-mates bag a 3-1 win over Crawley to reach the second round of the Carabao Cup. The versatile 19-year-old Brighton player saw Swansea debutant Bobby Wales notch his first goal since joining from Kilmarnock in the summer to add to Ronald's fourth-minute strike. Then another new boy, midfielder Ethan Galbraith, wrapped things up. 'Hopefully we can close the loan deal this week and it will be good to have Malick in the building,' said Swansea boss Alan Sheehan. 'He's a player who will improve us. He has so much energy and he's very highly rated.' Having seen his side go down to a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on the opening weekend of the Championship, Sheehan was delighted at the attacking intent his team displayed at home. 'There were a lot of pleasing aspects in our attack, although we should have scored five or six,' added Sheehan. Crawley are still awaiting their first win of the season, but at least Kabongo Tshimanga was able to give the League Two side their first goal of the season when he scored in the 75th minute. Then the Red Devils saw Gavan Holohan sent off eight minutes later to end their hopes of a fightback. 'We can take some encouragement from the fact we were really present in the game. In the second half we pushed them and we looked like the stronger team before the sending off and potentially could have scored another goal to take it to penalties,' said Crawley boss Scott Lindsey. 'We're probably three players away from building our squad and our treatment room is getting full – it's getting tough and we are a bit threadbare.'
