Nottingham Forest signs Swiss forward Dan Ndoye from Bologna
The 24-year-old forward has joined on a five-year deal. Forest did not say what the fee was for Ndoye, who helped his team to the Coppa Italia title last season by scoring the winning goal in the final.
'Dan is an exciting new addition to our squad and a player we have tracked extensively over a long period of time,' said Forest chief football officer Ross Wilson.
Forest has also signed Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha this offseason.
Ndoye has won 22 caps and played at last year's European Championship.
'It is a really exciting time at Forest and I knew straight away that I wanted to be a part of the project. It's a really ambitious team with a fantastic history and I can't wait to get started,' he said.

Pictured: New Carlisle United board advisor watches Blues at Woking
New Carlisle United board advisor Paul Hart joined the club hierarchy to watch the Blues' opening-day victory at Woking. The experienced former manager, who was drafted in by the Piataks this summer, sat with other United officials as Mark Hughes' side began the National League season with a 2-0 victory. It is the first time former Portsmouth, Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Queens Park Rangers boss has been spotted at a Blues game since his United role was confirmed in June. The 72-year-old, United stressed, was not part of their "day to day football operations" but would act as an advisor to the board on a consultancy basis. Hart sat alongside chief executive Nigel Clibbens, owners Tom and Patty Piatak and club champions such as businessman Andrew Dunning as Carlisle enjoyed a winning start to the 2025/26 campaign at the expense of Neal Ardley's Woking. Head of football operations Marc Tierney was also at the Laithwaite Community Stadium for United's first competitive game since his summer appointment. Hoops throw away 2-0 lead to lose first game of season
OXFORD City threw away a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 in their first game of the season at AFC Fylde. Tom Scott gave the Hoops the lead shortly before the half an hour mark in the Enterprise National League North meeting, with Zac McEachran rounding the keeper and pulling it back for his teammate. McEachran then doubled the lead five minutes into the second half, however the hosts hit back with three goals in 14 minutes. READ ALSO: United begin season with home defeat against Portsmouth The first chance of the game came from a Coasters corner, but George Wilson couldn't keep his header down. Jack Bearne cut onto his left foot for the Hoops, but fired off target, and then the deadlock was broken when McEachran capitalised on a Coasters error and teed up Scott. The Hoops had the chance to double the advantage when Isaac Westendorf counter-attacked and squared the ball for Bearne, who shot just wide. The second goal did arrive though when a Bearne cross was met by the head of Charlie Wiggett, with McEachran ensuring the ball crossed the line. Six minutes later though, the Coasters pulled one back as Aston Villa loanee Sam Lewis was unable to keep out a Jonathan Ustabasi header, and the same player got a second a couple of minutes later, as his ball from the byline squirmed in. The Coasters completed the turnaround with 70 minutes on the clock, when Danny Mayor cut onto his right foot and curled an effort inside the far post. The Hoops had chances to grab an equaliser, but DJ Campton-Sturridge shot wide from the edge of the penalty area, and McEachran saw an effort deflected past the post.

Real Madrid Are Keeping A Keen Eye On This PSG Midfielder: Dream Choice For Alonso?
In a recent report, Marca mentioned that Real Madrid are keeping a keen eye on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to secure the services of the Portuguese talent this summer. Vitinha enjoyed an excellent form at the French club in the previous campaign when he put in a series of impressive performances for them at the centre of the park. The 25-year-old scored eight times and secured five assists in 59 matches for PSG last season across multiple competitions. The Portuguese midfielder gave a good account of himself as he made 43 tackles, 26 blocks and 14 interceptions in Ligue 1. He was even tidy when distributing possession from midfield after completing 93.1% of his attempted passes in the French first division (stats via His current contract at the French club will run out in the summer of 2029. Hence, it won't be easy for Los Blancos to snap him up on the cheap this off-season. EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – JULY 09: Vitinha #17 of Paris Saint-Germain celebrates following the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 semi-final match between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid CF at MetLife Stadium on July 09, 2025 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Photo by) Is Vitinha A Dream Choice For Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso? Vitinha is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team at the centre of the park. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is an accurate passer of the ball when required. The Portuguese midfield ace can contribute by scoring and creating a handful of important goals in the final third. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also operate as a holding midfielder or play in the number ten position if told to do so by his manager. We can expect Vitinha to add more quality to Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso's midfield department. He is more than capable of earning a regular starting spot at the Madrid club in the coming years. At 25, Vitinha has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a dream choice for Los Blancos to consider in this transfer window. However, only time will tell whether he can maintain his good form in La Liga if Real Madrid manage to get him on board this summer or next year.
