This came after two days of the
National Security Strategies Conference
(NSSC) that concluded late Sunday where Shah further instructed the involvement of young police officers in each state to brainstorm on national challenges and devise solutions to address them. He urged that the use of
national databases
like NATGRID, NIDAAN, iMoT and CBI's fugitive database be inculcated amongst young officers by including them in all training programmes, according to an official statement.
Addressing the 8th NSSC, the home minister said the government has resolved numerous issues scattered across states as he emphasised that the next 5-10 years would be very important for the development and security of the country. "The minister exhorted the police and central security agencies to adopt the motto of 'Suraksha, Sajagta and Samanvay' (Security,

'If they were truly the same terrorists, then this is good, they have been given a lesson that terror can never succeed," Abdullah was quoted as saying by The Indian Express. 'I have not seen them, I do not know who they are. Only those who have seen them (the terrorists), can identify them." This came after Amit Shah announced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that Suleiman Shah alias Hashim Musa, and two others – identified as Jibran and Hamza Afghani – were killed in the Dachigam encounter in Srinagar under 'Operation Mahadev' on Monday. 'In the freezing heights, our Army and IB officers kept moving through the terrain to intercept their signals. On July 22, their presence in the area was finally confirmed. The Army, CRPF, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police jointly carried out a coordinated operation to surround them," Amit Shah said. "Whenever I Speak Of Nehru...": PM Modi, Amit Shah's Twin Jabs At Congress
New Delhi: The Congress - and its former Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru - was tag-teamed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah Tuesday evening at the end of a vociferous two-day Lok Sabha debate on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. After Mr Shah ripped into the Congress (and Mr Nehru) - blaming them for Pakistan's illegal occupation of Kashmir and the ceding of territory in Aksai Chin to China - the Prime Minister fired jabs of his own, accusing them of also giving away territory in Punjab and Tamil Nadu. The reference was to Kartarpur and Kachchatheevu Island, which were given over to Pakistan (in 1947, as part of the British boundary-drawing) and Sri Lanka (by Indira Gandhi in 1974). "The people who have been asking us why we don't take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir... I want to ask, 'whose government let the enemy capture PoK'? The answer is clear..." the Prime Minister said. "They also said Aksai Chin was barren and gave it away." Aksai Chin in eastern Ladakh was illegally occupied by China during the 1962 war. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has repeatedly accused the Congress government of the time of having surrendered over 30,000 sq km of Indian territory to China. The accusation usually comes around when the Congress attacks the Modi administration of having surrendered around 4,000 sq km in Ladakh after the violent clashes of May-June 2020. "Congress has always compromised national security. But whenever I speak of Nehru, the Congress and its ecosystem get jittery," the PM responded, adding, "' Lamhon ne khata ki, sadiyon ne saza paayi ' (a mistake was committed in that moment, and the punishment lasted years')." "To date, India is suffering the punishment of decisions taken since independence." Mr Modi also took aim at the Congress for a 'lack of support' after Pahalgam and during Operation Sindoor. He accused, as Amit Shah did, the party of having given Pak a 'clean chit'. The world supported India after Pahalgam and Op Sindoor but the Congress did not, he said. Rahul Gandhi's Deterrance Jibe The Nehru jabs followed sharp questions by Rahul Gandhi about the Op Sindoor timeline and the government's handling of the armed forces. In a combative speech the Congress leader wanted to know what stopped the BJP from extending military action to recapture PoK. Amit Shah's Nehru Jabs Hours earlier Mr Shah set the tone for the Prime Minister's speech, accusing Jawaharlal Nehru of having dismissively surrendered Aksai Chin because "not even a blade of grass grows there". "They (the Congress) asked us why we agreed to a ceasefire (in Op Sindoor) when we were in such a good position? I want to ask them... in 1948 our soldiers had the upper hand but Nehru stopped the war and the PoK problem was created. Pakistan is Congress' mistake... The blame lies with Nehru."

Tej dares RJD to act against MLA
Patna: Former minister Tej Pratap Yadav , elder son of Lalu Prasad, on Tuesday challenged the RJD leadership to take action against its MLA Bhai Birendra over a viral audio clip in which he is allegedly heard threatening a govt official. "I was expelled from the RJD under a conspiracy by betrayers. But will the RJD show similar strictness against Bhai Birendra?" Tej Pratap asked in a post on social media. Accusing the party of double standards, he said, "Respect for the Constitution must be reflected in action, not in speeches." He alleged that Bhai Birendra had made derogatory remarks against members of the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes (SC/ST) community and even issued death threats to the official over the phone. The controversy erupted after Bhai Birendra, an RJD MLA, allegedly used abusive language in a telephonic conversation with a panchayat secretary. Although the MLA has since expressed regret for his remarks, he denied making any casteist slurs during the exchange. Tej Pratap, who was expelled from the RJD two months ago, is said to have been angered by what he sees as selective disciplinary action. This public move has further fuelled speculation of internal discord. According to those close to him, Tej Pratap is considering contesting as an Independent candidate from Mahua, the assembly seat in Vaishali district that he won in 2015. In 2020, he shifted to Hasanpur in Samastipur district. Mahua is currently represented by RJD MLA Mukesh Kumar Raushan, who has been actively cultivating his constituency over the past five years. If Tej Pratap enters the electoral fray from Mahua, it could lead to a split in the vote share, potentially clearing the path for a third contender to emerge victorious, political observers said.
