Jennifer Lopez lets loose in a sexy dress as she celebrates first birthday since Ben Affleck divorce

Daily Mail24-07-2025
Jennifer Lopez sizzled in a sexy backless dress as she enjoyed a birthday celebration in Turkey while on tour.
The On The Floor hitmaker, who turns 56 on July 24, was pictured letting loose as she danced next to a three-tier birthday cake in a video shared to her Instagram Stories.
The singer — who recently scandalized the crowd with an X-rated sex confession — stunned in a skintight, sparkling silver gown that highlighted her enviable physique.
The superstar danced to her new track 'Birthday' which she released to mark her special day.
At one point Lopez sensuously dropped to the dance floor, then bounced rhythmically before rising to make her way around the cake.
She continued to perform provocative dance moves as she mouthed along to the song's lyrics.
The hitmaker, who was born on July 24, was pictured letting loose as she danced next to a three-tier birthday cake in a video shared to her Instagram Stories
'Name on top of the cake, it's my birthday/ I'ma make this famous a** shake, it's my birthday/ Throwin' all this money in they face, it's my birthday/ Everyday is my birthday, b***h,' Lopez sang.
Her lavish pink and white cake featured her name as well as four candles.
Lopez — whose divorce from Ben Affleck, 52, was finalized in January — was surrounded by cocktail waitresses in white bodysuits as well as other members of her entourage.
A few hours prior she also shared a sizzling montage of her dancing on stage to her new track.
At one moment she was pictured shaking her famous derrière in a sparkling silver bodysuit.
It comes after Lopez shocked audience members at her latest concert with a very X-rated confession.
The actress and singer — who has lately been putting on increasingly risqué performances — admitted at her show on Monday at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy that she has shifting desires when she's getting naughty in the bedroom.
'I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don't know about you, but I do — and sometimes I like it hard,' she said, according to The US Sun.
But on the same day that she opened up about her most intimate details on stage, the Hustlers star was blasted on social media by the conservative political commentator Megyn Kelly, who accused her of devolving into an adult film star thanks to a series of raunchy concerts in recent weeks.
During the hitmaker's show on Monday, she confessed that she isn't always in the mood to have it 'hard.'
'Other days, I am feeling a little romantic,' she said. 'You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.'
She continued: 'But there's other days . . . maybe because it's a new kind of time for me, maybe because it's summertime and it's hot outside, I feel a little more naughty.'
Then Lopez reportedly chuckled as the crowd hooted and hollered at her racy statements.
'You ever get that feeling?' she added with a smile. 'Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast.'
The tour stop reportedly featured Jennifer's new song Up All Night, which she named her tour after.
The song's lyrics suggest the narrator is taunting a former lover by reminding them of what they are missing out on.
'I'm up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life / I bet you wish that you were by my side / I got tired of you breaking me down / Look at me now,' she sings.
A source told the publication that J.Lo now has enough songs written that could fill an entire album.
Megyn Kelly accused her of devolving into an adult film star thanks to a series of raunchy concerts in recent weeks
'The material is inspired by what she went through during her relationship with Ben,' they claimed. 'Wreckage Of You was so specifically about Ben, and Up All Night points to where Jennifer is at in her life right now. This is a whole new era for Jennifer and she isn't going to be holding back.'
But at least one person watching from afar wasn't interested in Lopez's new era.
In a post to X (formerly Twitter), Kelly shared a video of the songstress running through multiple mock sex positions with her shirtless male backup dancers as the political commentator expressed her disgust.
'So she's a soft porn star now,' Kelly captioned the clip, before mocking Lopez for making 'Great choices!'
Several replies to the post agreed with the former Fox News host, with multiple people describing the video of Lopez as 'ridiculous,' 'disgusting' and 'embarrassing.'
'This is nasty. I couldn't watch,' wrote one particularly sensitive poster in reply.
But some of the replies accused Kelly of being unnecessarily harsh on Lopez.
'Jealous much?' one user wrote, while another person mused, 'Is there anything that does not offend MAGA?'
The singer kicked off her Up All Night tour in Pontevedra, Spain on July 8.
The shows will be performed across Europe before heading to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Armenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The Jenny From The Block star will then return to the US later in the year to launch her Up All Night residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on December 30. The Las Vegas residency is due to run through until March 2026.
The Unstoppable actress was married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony before tying the knot with Affleck in 2022, but they split in 2024 after less than two years of marriage.
The former couple's divorce was finalized in January.
Jennifer has since returned to the road after she cancelled her previous tour to focus on family matters.

Kelly Osbourne's poignant message about why dad Ozzy Osbourne was so important

Kelly Osbourne took to social media to share a message hours before the intimate funeral of her dad, the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne Kelly Osbourne has shared a touching speech showcasing why her dad, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, was so important. The Black Sabbath frontman died last week aged 76, leaving the world of music in mourning. ‌ Now, a day after his final journey through his beloved Birmingham he has been laid to rest. And daughter Kelly, 40, took to social media hours before the intimate funeral to share a sweet message saying how the Prince of Darkness was helping to unite the world. ‌ Kelly shared a reel to her Instagram Stories that was initially posted by a fan. It comes after thousands lined the streets on Wednesday and chanted for the star in support of his heartbroken family. ‌ The poster could be heard saying in the clip, which was posted shortly after the star's death: "Do you know why Ozzy was so important? Look at your feed right now. "Look at the fact that for the last 24 hours there's been no politics, it's been no left or right. It's been no them versus us, it's been all of us collectively celebrating the life of a man that meant so much to us and the politics are null and void right now." ‌ The message continued: "This is one of the most tragic things for a lot of us to experience but the one good take away from it is that it has united all of us under the banner of Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, and heavy metal and what Ozzy meant to all of us. Take a moment to think about that." The post comes with Kelly still staying silent following her dad's death, and instead resharing several messages that mean something to her. ‌ At the Birmingham procession she also gave a subtle nod to her dad with her choice of outfit accessories. With her blonde hair tied back, Kelly was seen wearing circular sunglasses that Ozzy had become synonymous with in recent years. His wife of over 40 years, Sharon Osbourne, was also in tears at the emotional farewell as the procession headed down Birmingham's Broad Street. Ozzy was followed by his family - including wife Sharon - in the special procession that was accompanied by a live brass band, Bostin' Brass. In moving scenes, the procession stopped outside the Black Sabbath bridge, where the frontman's wife and children stepped out of their cars to lay down roses wrapped in black paper among the sea of tributes left by fans. ‌ And on Thursday, the intimate private ceremony in Buckinghamshire at a private service attended by his close family and friends. While the funeral was kept strictly for friends and family only, cars were seen emerging from the property where Ozzy's funeral took place after the ceremony was over. The funeral was held at the family's 250 acre estate, with Ozzy being buried next to the ground's ornamental lake, according to his wishes.

'Kim Kardashian says £52 face wrap is a necessity – it's awful and she must be stopped'

When I first saw the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, I was left disturbed. Not only is it scarily Handmaid's Tale-like, it's a stark reminder women must always be working towards something beauty-wise... Shapewear is a standard part of many women's wardrobes. Many opt to pop 'sucky-in' pants under their dresses to make their figures appear more streamlined. If that's something you want to do, then fair enough. While I wouldn't personally do it, I can sort of see why, if it makes you feel more comfortable (albeit not physically), you'd want to do it. ‌ However, Kim Kardashian officially needs to be stopped with her latest release that she branded a 'necessity' on her Instagram Stories. It is part of her Skims brand and apparently can be used to change the shape of your face. ‌ We've put up with the nipple bra and the shapewear, but the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap is a step too far. It aims to make your face look "snatched". But for me, it's just another harrowing reminder that women can never rest, even when they get their 'beauty' sleep. ‌ On the Skims website, the product is described as a "must-have face wrap," which "boasts" Skims' "signature sculpting fabric and features collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support. Velcro closures at the top and nape of the neck allow for easy, everyday wear". Upon first glance at the product, you may liken it to post-surgery compression garments, or perhaps, more disturbingly, even the hoods Handmaids are forced to wear in The Handmaid's Tale to show their submission and compliance. It makes us start to hold a mirror up to the current world we live in and wonder whether our freedoms truly are being curtailed. ‌ Because when you put one of these on, you're submitting further to the beauty standard. No woman doesn't fall foul of it. We all buy into the beauty standard in one way or another. But the question is to what extent, and this facial compression garment feels like a hard limit. This product forms part of the "morning shred" TikTok trend, which makes light of the fact that the 'uglier you go to bed, the hotter you wake up'. "My jawline has never been this snatched," an influencer boasted. But she clearly had a snatched jawline before, giving false hope to many who may have rushed to buy the product. ‌ Alex Light, who posts on her social media about body confidence, said she was "terrified" by the launch. When she saw it, she had to check whether it "was April the first." At first glance it may seem like another "wellness trend," but she claimed it felt "deeper and more disturbing than that". ‌ "Even our faces need to be tightly controlled and made to look as thin as possible," she seethed. Alex pointed out that this product – along with "buccal fat removal, weight loss drugs, facial taping, threads, and an algorithm that rewards looking like an AI-generated doll" – are creating unrealistic beauty standards. She asked:. "Can you imagine men wearing these?" And people were quick to leave their thoughts in the comments section. ‌ Someone left a comment on her video saying: "Is anyone else so sick and tired of 'helpful' things that will help fix our 'problems'???? When I look back on life, I know I won't be thinking about contraptions like this and being 1kg lighter. "I'll be thinking of the little moments in life, laughing and enjoying good meals and snacks with my loved ones, and running into the sea with my kids, and not worrying about my wobbly thighs. Big hugs to everyone in this fab community". ‌ Social media reaction It's not been a wholly warm welcome on Skims' own social media either, with the top comments mainly featuring women who aren't happy. One said she didn't know whether this was an attempt at "trolling". Another fumed: "We are in hell." And a third added: "Brush ya teeth and slap some night cream and hit the hay babes". Someone else profoundly penned: "Just a reminder to all you young ones, I'm almost 40. Never had a single one of these and used the same face moisturiser all my life. This won't stop the aging process. It also won't do anything to prevent a single line or 'imperfection' from forming on your face. To age is an absolute blessing, and every line, scar, mark, and whatever else is just a reminder of everyday life. This is so toxic. We ALL age and what a miracle that is!" ‌ But the sad thing is, there are people who genuinely think this £52 product is worth buying. They think that if something can be bought, it'll work. If it purports to make us look younger, hotter, skinnier, it's worth trying. That having a double chin, or maybe even a face that isn't as 'snatched' as they like, is some sort of sin. ‌ We still live in a society where fatness is the number one thing to be avoided, even before things like awful personality traits. And products like this further feed into that disturbing narrative. Does the product actually work? Harley Street Skin Clinic 's Dr Nikita Desai has given her verdict on whether the face wrap can actually support skin function and create a 'snatched' jawline - even if you didn't have one before. She explained what the wrap is, saying: "In this instance, a face wrap is essentially a compression garment for the face. ‌ "It's marketed as a beauty tool that's designed to lift and sculpt your face by applying pressure similar to that of a compression garment you'd wear on your body. It's suggested that these wraps can reduce puffiness and improve facial definition". However, she believes the Kardashian has taken inspiration from social media. She said: "My first thought upon looking at this Skims design is that it's taken inspiration from the 'morning shed' TikTok trend that was highly popular on the app throughout 2024, which promoted the idea 'the uglier you sleep, the prettier you wake up.' "With the product being advertised as something that will be a part of your nightly routine, there's no doubt that they're really hoping that the beauty side of TikTok will adopt this product the same way they did the 'Morning Shed' trend. ‌ "The colour choice itself is strikingly similar to surgical compressions, which feels like a purposeful choice, seeing as the Kardashians have frequently discussed cosmetic surgery". As to whether it's useful or not, Dr Desai said isn't convinced. She said: "Face wraps of this kind offer temporary changes at best and may help with de-puffing your face, similar to how a common surgical garment can help reduce swelling. "While wraps of this kind can be fun to engage with, it's worth my stressing that beyond this, wraps can't offer any permanent changes such as facial contouring, remodel fat, or even boost collagen production. Any changes you see will reverse in a matter of hours as the compression loses its effect". ‌ You should also be careful when using products like this one.. Dr Desai explained: "While they can be fun to try out for a quick beauty routine, it's worth noting that wearing a facial wrap for an extended period of time is not something I would advise. "It can restrict circulation, which in this case could cause facial swelling, the opposite of providing a 'snatched jawline.' It could also irritate the skin and cause discomfort around your ears and jaw. If you're someone who suffers from TMJ or sensitive skin issues, I would avoid this product". Sculpted face or not – this product really isn't for me. Instead, I look forward to the days when natural beauty is embraced and women can sleep in peace.

Jess Glynne 'sickened' by White House using viral Jet 2 holiday song in deportation video

The White House used the viral Jet2 advert featuring Jess Glynne's song Hold My Hand, prompting backlash from the singer who said she feels 'sick' Jess Glynne had spoken out after discovering her hit single Hold My Hand was used in a White House video promoting ICE deportations, calling the move 'sick' and a complete misuse of her music, which she says is meant to bring people together not divide them. ‌ The video was posted on X by the official White House account earlier this week. The video features a montage of immigration detainees in hand and leg cuffs being escorted by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers onto a GlobalX flight. ‌ The video was accompanied by the caption: "When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation. Nothing beats it!" ‌ Over the footage plays the now viral Jet2holiday advert, which features Jess' 2015 feel good anthem Hold My Hand alongside the chipper voiceover declaring "nothing beats a Jet2 holiday". Additionally the video features a clip of President Donald Trump giving a thumbs up, and a screenshot of an app which offers American immigrants the option to self-deport. The singer caught wind of the White House's post early on Wednesday morning and was quick to condemn the use of her song in the video. ‌ Sharing her reaction on Instagram Stories, Jess wrote: "This post honestly makes me sick. My music is about love, unity and spreading positivity - never about division or hate." The track's use comes as part of a wider meme trend that has exploded on TikTok in recent months. The Jet2holiday jingle and voiceover have been paired with everything from clumsy falls to hilarious stunts, often used in a comedic way. With over 71,000 TikTok posts featuring the audio, the trend had remained largely lighthearted, until now. ‌ The video has gained widespread criticism online, with many social media users expressing outrage at the White House. One expressed: "This is gross. Completely disgusting." ‌ As another simply stated: "Oh," along with multiple shocked emojis. Others have slammed the White House for ruining the trend, as one user wrote: "Just like that the trend is over." A fourth user branded the account as the worst on the site, saying: "There is no bigger as****e on this site than this account." One comment read: "This shows a real lack of humanity." Despite the backlash, the Trump administration, which returned to power earlier this year, appears unfazed. In a statement to The Independent, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson doubled down on the X post. "There is nothing more unifying and positive than deporting criminal illegal aliens and making American communities safer," Jackson said. "The memes will continue until every criminal illegal alien is removed!"
