MICHAEL BEALE is reportedly one of the names being considered to take over as manager at a newly-promoted European club.
The former Rangers manager, 44, could make a shock return to Europe after spending the last few months in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq.

Beale was brought to the Middle East by Steven Gerrard in November and has continued his role since the Liverpool legend was axed in January.
We told you last week how Beale has been in talks over a return to England with Hull City looking for a new manager.
The Tigers have yet to land their replacement for Ruben Selles but it's believed Miron Muslic is now the frontrunner to take over the hot-seat.
But the ex-Light Blues coach and boss has other options on the table as he eyes a move away from Saudi Arabia.
Turkish outlet Ajansspor claim Beale is one of three foreign gaffers in the running to be the next manager of a club in the Super Lig.
Kocaelispor will feature in the top flight next season after winning the second division but they'll battle the likes of Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce with a new boss in charge after parting ways with title-winning gaffer Ismet Tasdemir.
The Kocaeli-based outfit have been on the hunt for a new coach for a number of weeks and Beale has now emerged as a shock contender.
It's stated Markus Gisdol, Emre Belozoglu and Selcuk Inan were the initial frontrunners, but Beale and a Champions League legend have now been added to the shortlist.
Croatia icon Robert Prosinecki, who was part of the famous Red Star Belgrade European Cup winning side, has also joined the running.
However, other reports from Turkey claim a stumbling block has emerged regarding the pursuit of the former Sunderland and QPR boss.
Robert Grieve & Bill Leckie have the very latest on the Rangers manager situation as Steven Gerrard & Russell Martin emerge as front-runners
It's said club chiefs have been in talks with Beale's representatives over the last few days but they have now reached an impasse.
His salary is not believed to be an issue but the 44-year-old has reportedly demanded a long-term contract which Kocaelispor are not willing to agree to.
It's also stated that Beale wants to live in Istanbul - an hour's drive from Kocaeli - and he hopes to have a large say in the day-to-day running of the club, which the board are not keen on.
It seems like the Englishman's demands will put him far down the pecking order, with Kocaelispor's higher-ups keen to appoint their new manager as soon as possible.

There's lots to get better – Thomas Tuchel demands improvement from England
Boos greeted the half-time and final whistles in Barcelona after the 6,950 travelling fans witnessed a forgettable and frustrating display against the side sat 173rd in FIFA's world rankings. Only three European nations are placed lower than Andorra, who dug deep and had a couple of half-chances on a night when Harry Kane's 50th-minute goal was the difference as England edged the Group K qualifier 1-0. Aiming for a better performance on Tuesday 💪 — England (@England) June 8, 2025 The Euro 2024 runners-up 'got away with it' according to Kane and head coach Tuchel was surprised by the team's 'lack of attitude' in the final stages of both halves. 'The last half-an-hour I don't like it all because I think we lacked everything that is needed in a World Cup qualifier,' Tuchel said. 'There's lots to get better. At the moment everything is a learning (period) so we're smarter than before. 'We have the minimum, the points in our pocket, and we will talk about it honestly and directly and try to do it better.' Put to the England head coach, who wants the side to play Premier League-style football, that Saturday's performance showed Rome was not built in a day, he told BBC Radio 5 Live: 'Absolutely. 'It is in the moment a learning (period), it's our second camp. I think we can do much better, we have to do much better, all of us, and that includes me, and from there we go. 'In the moment we have nine points and on Tuesday we have a very strong opponent (in Senegal) to do things better. 'It always takes two to tango, but we need to do better and breaking down deep opponents. We played now three times against a 5-4-1, but there are no excuses. 'The lack of counter-pressing and the lack of ball wins and the lack of being aggressive in duels is basic in football. 'If you don't show this, then it becomes more or less a game that we saw, which is not attractive, which does not have the quality that we wish and that we want to show to our supporters, who were absolutely amazing and outstanding, so there's a lot to do and from there we go.' England returned home from Spain straight after Saturday's game as attention turns to Tuesday's friendly against Senegal at the City Ground in Nottingham. The Lions of Teranga sit 19th in the world rankings and are comfortably the toughest test Tuchel has faced since taking charge at the start of the year. The England boss is looking forward to facing Senegal but says the Andorra match cannot be swept under the carpet given the limited opportunities to prepare for next summer's World Cup. Our best is still to come! Important win away from home, onto the next 🦁🦁🦁 — Harry Kane (@HKane) June 7, 2025 'I don't forget because there's not so many matches,' Tuchel said. 'I think it's necessary that we have a good look at it and then present in detail to the players what we don't like, and to present it in a video session what we have to do better and what are the standards and what we did good. 'It's not a day where we just say, 'OK, we have the result and let's keep on going'. We have not enough time to do this. We have not enough matches to do that.'

Kusini Yengi seals Aberdeen transfer as Australia striker reveals Jimmy Thelin factor
The hitman makes the move to the Granite City on free having spent the past two seasons at Portsmouth Kusini Yengi has become Aberdeen's fourth summer recruit. The Aussie international has penned a pre-contract and arrives on a free from Portsmouth. He's spent the last two seasons at Pompey but will now head north of the border to the Granite City as part of Jimmy Thelin's recruitment drive as he gets set for European group stage football next term. On joining the Scottish Cup winners, he said: 'It feels great to be an Aberdeen player and I can't wait to get started. 'I'm looking forward to playing here for several years. The manager and staff have all been very positive and their enthusiasm was one of the main reasons I chose to come here. 'I loved the project that was pitched to me. What the manager and coaches want to achieve and what they stand for. "Where they think they can utilise me as a player to help the club, so I was very excited. 'Every kid dreams of playing European football and playing for big clubs like Aberdeen so I am very excited to play in those competitions and represent Aberdeen.' Boss Thelin is delighted with his new striker as he opened up to Red TV about what he will bring to the table 'We were quite specific about the type of profile we had identified to play as a striker for Aberdeen and Kusini has a lot of the qualities we were after. 'He is tall, strong and quick, he will work hard for the team and lead the line. "He has also proven at both Portsmouth and with the Socceroos that he can score goals on a consistent basis. 'It is important for us to have different profiles of players who can bring specific strengths to our shape and how we want to play. "With European group stage football and a busy domestic schedule, he will play a vital role for us in what we hope will be a competitive squad.'
