DANA WHITE has suddenly been cut from promoting Canelo Alvarez's fight against Terence Crawford.
TKO Holdings - who own the UFC and WWE - signed a multi-year partnership to establish a boxing promotion alongside Saudi Arabia's Turki Alalshikh.

As well as a UFC-style boxing league, two super-fights were set to be promoted by TKO and White every year.
And Canelo's blockbuster against Crawford was due to kickstart the partnership on Friday, September 12 in Las Vegas at the Raiders Stadium.
Then all of a sudden, Alalshikh told Ring Magazine - which he owns - that the date of the bout was set to change to Saturday, September 13.
And he was also considering having the bout move to New York or Los Angeles - opposed to the £1.5BILLION, 65,000-seat Raiders Stadium.

It caused huge confusion with the news the fight would also be under the Riyadh Season banner and on pay-per-view.
That suggested White and Netflix were out of the picture - with UFC 320 also set for September 13 and due to clash with the new Canelo date.
Now, Alalshikh has confirmed Saudi-based Sela will promote the super-middleweight title decider for Riyadh.
A broadcaster is not yet decided but Riyadh Season have an exclusive deal with sports streaming service DAZN - who operate a PPV platform.

Netflix debuted in boxing in November when Mike Tyson controversially came out of retirement aged 58 to fight Jake Paul.
And over 100 MILLION tuned in to watch YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul's points win - causing the stream to crash.

The dramatic turn of events leaves White and TKO's future in boxing up in the air - despite their plans to launch a brand new boxing league.
On Monday, May 12 Alalshikh revealed he was flying to New York with White also posting a picture in the Big Apple soon after.
SunSport understands Canelo, 34, and Crawford, 37, were also set to join them to film content with Netflix ahead of the bout.
But, just a day later and Alalshikh dropped the news that the fight's date and location was under consideration.
White is yet to comment on his apparent removal from the mega-boxing bout and the future of his league.
He has partnered with Alalshikh before having held two events in Riyadh in the past.
Canelo beat William Scull, 32, to regain the 168lb undisputed thrown in early May as part of his four-bout deal with Alalshikh.
Meanwhile Crawford has not fought since moving up to 154lb to win the WBA title against Israil Madrimov, 30, in August 2024.

The United skipper looked certain to move to Saudi Arabia after reports Al-Hilal were ready to pay a £300million package to secure his signature. United would have collected a £100m transfer fee, with Bruno Fernandes being handed an eye-watering contract worth around £200m in a move that would see him join up with countrymen Joao Cancelo and Ruben Neves. But Fernandes released a statement on Tuesday night explaining primarily that he wants to continue playing at the highest level possible in Europe and fully believes he is capable of doing so. 'It would have been an easy move," he said. "I had Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo there, two people I have a great friendship with. But I want to stay at the highest level, play in big competitions, because I still feel capable." Another factor was Ruben Amorim wanting him to stay at Old Trafford. The coach has always maintained he did not want to let his captain leave and hoped the Portugal international would spearhead the team's revival under his leadership. Speaking after their post-season tour in Asia, he said: "I think he wants to stay. He is saying no to a lot of things but he chose that he wants to win. I think he's really good and he needs to be on the best league in the world." United's support of Fernandes also helped his decision. The club hierarchy were relaxed about his future either way and although they missed out on a huge payday that would have eased their financial situation, having Fernandes on board will be a huge boost to their hopes of returning to for next season. The 30-year-old also cited his family as a major reason for him snubbing Saudi interest. He did not want to uproot his family from their settled life in Manchester and force a culture change in the Middle East. His wife Ana Pinho is said to have been crucial in the decision to stay. Fernandes explained: "I spoke with my family to understand if that was what I wanted for my future,' Fernandes said ahead of Portugal's Nations League semi-final against Germany tonight. "It was actually my wife who asked me — I never said yes or no. She put my professional priorities ahead of everything else." Now that he has clarified his position, Amorim will hope to have him on board for his rebuild of the team that has already seen him sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves, while Bryan Mbeumo is expected to join from Brentford imminently.

If Fernandes remains at United then club legend Gary Neville believes Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho must all leave.
