Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said the Centre has set a target of achieving USD one billion in turmeric exports by 2030.Addressing a gathering after the inauguration of the National Headquarters of Turmeric Board in Nizamabad, he said the board would focus on packing, branding, marketing and export of the commodity.The turmeric board would work towards ensuring remunerative prices for farmers, export of their produce, besides research and development, he said."You will be surprised to know that the Indian government has set the goal of exporting USD one billion worth of turmeric by 2030. And, we have also made full preparations to achieve the goal of exporting USD one billion to international markets. The (Turmeric) board that will be formed will work to ensure that the highest price of turmeric reaches the farmers," he said.Shah further said, during the 2023 assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to establish a Turmeric board in Telangana, and orders in this regard were issued later.Earlier, Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy and other leaders received Amit Shah when he arrived at Hyderabad's Begumpet airport.Taking to X, BJP's Telangana unit earlier on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had earlier announced the establishment of the turmeric board has now fulfilled the dream of farmers as per the word given to them.PM Modi has allocated Rs 200 crores to improve the quality of turmeric crop, carry out research and to improve farmers' income, it said.The establishment of the Turmeric Board has been a major demand of the turmeric farmers in Nizamabad and it was also a key election issue.BJP Lok Sabha member from Nizamabad D Arvind, who had promised to set up the turmeric board, had defeated BRS MLC and then Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter K Kavitha in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He was re-elected in 2024.

Granules India arm receives one observation from USFDA for U.S. facility
Granules India announced that its wholly-owned foreign subsidiary, located in Chantilly, Virginia, USA, has received one observation in Form 483 from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the USFDA conducted a Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) at the facility from 23 June to 27 June 2025. The companys consolidated net profit rose by 17.3% to Rs 152.03 crore, on a 2.4% increase in total revenue from operations to Rs 1,196.82 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Q4 FY24. The scrip rose 0.03% to settle at Rs 497.30 on Friday, 27 June 2025.

Ahluwalia Contracts shares in focus after Rs 1,100 crore order wins
Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts (India) are set to be in focus on Monday after the company announced two major construction project wins worth a combined Rs 1,103.56 crore, bolstering its already strong presence in India's residential infrastructure segment. ADVERTISEMENT Ahluwalia Contracts (India) disclosed the contract wins in a regulatory filing dated June 27, to the BSE and NSE, in compliance with Clause 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The first order, worth Rs 821 crore, has been awarded by Whiteland Corporation Pvt Ltd. It pertains to the construction of a residential development named 'URBAN RESORT,' comprising seven residential towers located in Sector-103, Gurugram. The project is scheduled to be executed within 36 months. The second project, valued at Rs 282.56 crore, was awarded by a joint venture between Nestled Haven Estates Private Ltd and Maia Estates Private Ltd. The scope includes civil structure and architectural finishing work for a group housing project named 'The Beacon' in Bengaluru. This project is slated for completion in 32 company clarified that these projects do not involve any related party transactions and confirmed that there is no interest from the promoter, promoter group, or associated companies in the awarding entities. ADVERTISEMENT For the financial year ended March 31, 2025 (FY25), Ahluwalia Contracts reported total revenue of Rs 4,154 crore and net profit after tax of Rs 201.5 crore. In Q4 FY25, the company posted revenue of Rs 1,215.84 crore, up from Rs 1,163.66 crore in Q4 FY24. However, net profit declined to Rs 83.33 crore from Rs 199.80 crore in the corresponding quarter a year stock has been on a rebound in recent months. Despite a nearly 21% fall over the past year and a 4% dip in the last six months, shares have risen 20.5% in the past three months and are up 2% over the last one month. BHEL shares in focus after Rs 6,500 crore order win from Adani Power
Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) are likely to be in focus on Monday, June 30, after the company announced that it has secured an order worth Rs 6,500 crore from Adani Power. ADVERTISEMENT The Letter of Award (LoA) pertains to the supply and commissioning of equipment for six thermal power units of 800 MW each. 'Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Adani Power Ltd. (APL) for six (6) thermal units of 800 MW,' the company said in an exchange filing. In its stock exchange filing, BHEL confirmed that the LoA includes the supply of Steam Turbine Generators along with auxiliaries, as well as the supervision of erection and commissioning of the units. The thermal power units, each of 800 MW, amount to a cumulative capacity of 4,800 MW.
