Tasha Ghouri gives update on love life as she rules out dating shows
Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri has revealed whether she would be open for a stint on Love Island All Stars or Celebs Go Dating after her split from Andrew Le Page
Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has shared whether she'd be open to more celebrity dating shows. It comes following the news earlier this year that she had separated from Andrew Le Page, who she met on the ITV2 show.
Talking about doing a presenting course at the TRIC Awards in London tonight, Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha, 26, said she'd rather focus on that side of her career. "It's not for me personally," Tasha said about the possibility of seeing her on Love Island: All Stars or Celebs Go Dating.
She added: "I know people find love on these shows but my dating shows are closed. I'm going down a different path now. It's something I'm really passionate about. I'm happily single but I'm open to love. I'd love a family."
Tasha rose to fame on Love Island in 2022, where she found love with former partner Andrew, now 30. The former couple, who reached the final of the show, later split after more than two and a half years together.
The reality TV star was the first deaf contestant on the show and uses a cochlear implant to help her hear. She was born deaf and received the implant, which is a small electronic device, when she was five years old.
Talking about her meteoric rise since the ITV2 show, she shared how she deals with the stress. "The past few years have been a whirlwind," she admits. "Sometimes I listen to music, other times I take my cochlear out and enjoy the silence. I'm very lucky to have that, it's a beautiful thing."
The self confessed adrenaline junkie says she got something wild she needs to tick off her bucket list though. "I want to try ski diving," she said excitedly whilst at the awards ceremony. "I'd love to throw myself out of a plane."
Tasha's comments at the TRIC Awards tonight come after a previous update on her personal life whilst at the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises last month. She spoke to the Mirror on the red carpet of the event in May.
At the time, Tasha told us that she was "doing okay" when asked about her split from Andrew. She shared whilst on the red carpet of that event just over a month ago: "You know, break ups aren't easy for anybody to go through."
She went on to say that she looks back on the relationship in a positive way. Tasha said: "I had a great two and a half years with Andrew. I look back with a positive smile on my face because we had great memories together."
Tasha further commented whilst a guest at the BAFTAs: "Sometimes it just doesn't work out and that's all that happened and I wish him the best. I'm just moving forward now."
She said at the time that her "dating book is closed for now" and dismissed the prospect of doing a show like Celebs Go Dating. Instead, she said on the red carpet last month that her focus was on herself for the time being.

A source told the publication: 'Bosses are thrilled she's agreed to take part and are ironing out her fee. 'She's bubbly, down-to-earth and straight-talking and producers reckon she'll make an ideal contestant — not to mention the bonus of having Jarrod and dad Danny in the audience supporting her.' Earlier this month Dani branded her husband and his pals 'd***s' for taking their PlayStations to their lavish wedding. Chatting with her dad Danny on an episode of their Live and Let Dyers podcast, she revealed: 'He said he ain't staying with me the night before, he went, "No, I don't want to stay with you". 'They were all taking, him and their mates, their PlayStations to the hotel. 'I was like, "You're all a bunch of d***s. Why are you all excited over playing PlayStation when you're going to be a husband?"' The 28-year-old England forward insisted getting hitched would not stop him from playing video games. Dani continued: 'He went, "Yeah, that don't change nothing, I'm still playing".' And Jarrod went back to playing video games on his PlayStation after the smitten couple's nuptials. Dani said: 'Then he said to me, "What are we doing on the Sunday after the wedding?" 'I said, "I don't know, we'll probably just be hanging, like, we'll come home". Eden Blackman, the relationship expert from Channel 4 's Celebs Go Dating, has died at the age of 57. His family announced on Tuesday that he passed away over the weekend following a long illness. Tributes have poured in for Blackman, including from his Celebs Go Dating successor Paul C Brunson and co-star Tom Read Wilson.
