I'm donut? opens a speciality gluten-free doughnut shop in Shibuya

The doughnut craze has made a comeback in Tokyo over the past few years, with new specialist bakeries popping up all over the city. Leading the trend is I'm donut?, a unique doughnut shop known for its pillowy-soft treats made with Japanese ingredients. The brand has recently gone global, opening locations in New York City and Seoul – and now it's launched a fully gluten-free shop in Shibuya. Photo: Kisa Toyoshima I'm donut? Gluten-Free is located across the street from the I'm donut? Shibuya store and operates as a takeaway stand. You'll still get to enjoy I'm donut?'s signature 'nama' (fresh) doughnuts – but at the new shop these are made entirely gluten-free using Japanese rice flour instead of wheat. The dough also incorporates ingredients like pumpkin, which helps create a moist and slightly sweet doughnut. Photo: Kisa Toyoshima 'I'm Free' original doughnut The gluten-free shop offers eight different doughnuts, including the signature 'I'm Free' original (¥356), which is lightly coated in brown sugar, and the cacao (¥388) – both of which are vegan-friendly. The original flavour was one of our favourites and was light, moist and just as delicious as the brand's regular creations. Honestly, it was hard to even tell it was gluten-free – it was that good. Photo: Kisa Toyoshima Pistachio doughnut Additionally there are four cream-based doughnuts filled with a decadent cream or custard made from rice flour. The cream doughnuts come in four flavours: custard (¥529), pistachio (¥637), chocolate cream (¥583) and framboise (¥583). When we tried the pistachio flavour, it was pleasantly fragrant and not overly sweet – the ultimate hallmark of a great dessert. Photo: Kisa Toyoshima Caramel nuts doughnut You'll also find two other varieties: strawberry chocolate (¥475) and caramel nuts (¥496). The former features a cocoa-flavoured doughnut coated in sweet and tangy strawberry chocolate – we couldn't help but think it tasted just like a strawberry Pocky. The caramel nuts doughnut is topped with caramel chocolate and homemade caramelised nuts for a satisfyingly crunchy finish. This one would pair wonderfully with coffee. Photo: Kisa Toyoshima I'm donut? Gluten-Free is open from 11am to 7pm daily, but be warned: a queue often forms even before the store opens. For more information, follow the store on Instagram. Roman Kemp banned from speaking to Hollywood star after interview prank backfired

Roman Kemp got off on the wrong foot with the A-lister with security being called in to remove hm. Roman Kemp has admitted that he's banned from talking to one huge A-lister after a car crash interview with the star that went very wrong. The 32-year-old confessed he was escorted out by security during a 2015 press junket with Jennifer Lawrence, 34 after a prank failed to land. ‌ He had been interviewing the Oscar winner as a part of her promo tour for her film Joy but explained he had not seen the list of pre-approved questions from his Capital FM producers before the cameras started rolling. Their discussion quickly became awkward when the actress provided short, clipped answers and said that the experience "sucked", barely engaging with the conversation. ‌ However, it was a prank gone wrong that appears to have sealed Roman's fate. The I'm A Celeb star had pretended to be a superfan and unveiled a fake tattoo of Jennifer Lawrence's face on his chest which reportedly caused the actress to call in security and have him removed from the room. ‌ Reflecting on the uncomfortable incident in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Roman wrote: 'Found this old picture of when I interviewed Jennifer Lawrence and for fun pretended to be a mega fan complete with a tattoo… She did NOT find it funny. I was escorted out by security and told I would never interview her again.' Roman, whose parents are Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp and singer Shirlie Holliman, wrote in follow-up post: 'Tbf still haven't had the chance to redeem myself or explain the situation to her…' ‌ During the exchange over a decade ago, Jennifer was visibly unimpressed by Roman's questions, which included asking her what her favourite type of cheese was. One moment saw him read her a poem supposedly written in her honour, prompting her to sarcastically reply: 'Wow, that was incredibly touching.' ‌ Things went from bad to worse when Ronan claimed to have a tattoo dedicated to her and began unbuttoning his shirt to reveal the fake inking. Jennifer responded, deadpan: 'Oh my god. Oh man, wow right over your heart. I would expect nothing less. I'm flattered and honoured, it looks so permanent. How did they get it so glossy?' Roman then explained how his dad is Martin Kemp and hinted that he would like to take her on a date to one of his dad's concerts. ‌ She replied, stone-faced: 'To meet your dad? Coolest date ever.' Despite the awkward exchange, Roman clearly took it all in good humour. ‌ Speaking about the experience on The Chris Ramsey Show in 2018, he called it his 'trickiest interview' to date. He revealed: 'She's not having the best day clearly. She hasn't said hello to me, she hasn't acknowledged me, she's just sat there on the phone like this… 'I've already sat down and said 'hi how are you?' and all this type of stuff, [she] just said nothing. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! I was like, 'yeah I'm already in the questioning her'.' Recalling the hilarious moment when he unveiled the fake tattoo, he said: 'She said nothing after that and then the security guard got up and asked me to leave. 'I am now banned from interviewing Jennifer Lawrence.'

I'm a fashion editor and these are the must-have items I'm buying in the Debenhams summer sale

Daily Mail journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more I still reminisce about the heyday of the old Debenhams department store in my hometown of Hull. It was a centre point of our little northern city and a regular haunt for us locals while shopping on Saturdays. Debenhams was, and still is, the go-to destination for wedding guest dresses, fabulous shoes, designer-looking bags, great jeans, activewear and even pyjamas. But it's real forte? Sales! Today their discounted offering online is one of the best you can find. And better yet, it now stocks more brands than ever before. If you're not sure where to start, I've trawled through the 13,4054 womenswear items on offer. From Prada and Miu Miu sunglasses, to the comfiest FitFlop sandals, Coast event dresses, Karen Millen frocks and Kurt Geiger heels, these are the best bits to buy before they're gone. Coast £89.25 Shop Fontanella Fashion £29.24 Shop This cleverly ruched midi will be ultra flattering around your midriff. Pair it with some gold heels and a metallic clutch bag for a wedding guest ready look. Wondering what shades to invest in for autumn? Start strong with this sage green shoulder bag, which you can also wear as a crossbody. Where's That From has become a go-to footwear brand for stylists and those in the know that are on the hunt for super affordable, yet trend-led and contemporary designs. These brown leather mules will make a brilliant wardrobe staple. Wide-leg baggy jeans aren't going anywhere and this pleat waist pair drape over the legs beautifully. Consider good denim for less than £60 a steal! I love the details on this blouse which make it look far more expensive than it actually is. Embroidery, ruffles and a peter pan collar elevate this basic silhouette. Wear it with jorts (jean shorts) now and tailored trousers later. Whatever the weather, sunglasses are never a bad investment. This cat-eye Prada pair are a bargain for less than £300. The sleek metal handle makes this little ecru crossbody look really high end - wear it casually or dress it up with matching mules for an event. If you're sick of your breezy circle skirt, try this khaki satin slip style from Oasis instead. When it gets colder, pair it with black knee high boots rather than your pumps. Polka dots are set to trend into next year, so you won't get it wrong with this printed midi. The black base colour means you can wear it with sheer black tights and leather boots come winter. FitFlop has been one of my favourite footwear brands of the summer. Chunky leather flip flops go with absolutely everything - I've walked miles in mine and I won't stop until autumn hits. Looking for a pair of party shoes? Kurt Geiger produces some of the best statement styles out there, including these pretty studded point toe mules. Or if you're after last minute holiday buys, look no further than this glamorous cut out swimsuit with gold-toned hardware. Karen Millen £72 Shop This clever Karen Millen trench can actually be worn short or long with a detachable section. If you invest in this now, you're technically getting two coats for the price of one. Woven leather bags have become the It arm candy of the summer. Dragon Diffusion's styles costs hundreds, but this Dune iteration is a fraction of the price. Tinted sunglasses amp up the simplest of outfits. This Miu Miu pair won't be discounted for long - run, don't walk. Wear yours with a plain white sundress, like this one from FS Collection, to let your eyes do the talking. You should have at least one white puff sleeve blouse on your rail. Versatile and so easy to wear, for £14 you really can't go wrong. Thanks to the SS25 Chloé runway, wedges are back. This tan pair with a back strap are supportive yet chic. Threadbare £34 Shop Warehouse skirt £24 Shop I love a co-ord and this linen embroidered one from Threadbare will see you through the last sunny days of August. Equally, this black boho midi skirt is just as simple to style - pair yours with whatever black tops you already own. Dorothy Perkins dress £22.50 Shop Graphic floral midis have been a super trend of the summer. Invest in Monsoon's silky long-sleeved iteration or try this casual sundress from Dorothy Perkins, which will look great with trainers, sandals or heels.
