From concept to capacity — Faster parking for South Florida's healthcare systems

For healthcare administrators and real estate developers, parking isn't just a line item, it's a critical part of patient experience and operational flow. But building new structured parking on an active medical campus? That's where things get complicated.
You're balancing permit approvals, tight site logistics, and stakeholder pressure—all while trying to avoid service disruption and keep costs predictable.
That's why some of Florida's leading hospital systems are turning to partners who've done this before—many times over.
With more than two dozen healthcare parking structures completed across the state, FINFROCK understands the stakes. We've delivered for major systems in Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, and beyond, solving complex challenges while keeping timelines and budgets on track.
Built for the Pace (and Pressure) of Healthcare
FINFROCK has designed, manufactured, and constructed more healthcare parking structures in Florida than any other firm. With over 300 precast parking structures nationwide and more than two dozen hospital-related projects completed statewide—including major facilities in Miami, Boca Raton, Orlando, and Jacksonville, our team understands the operational demands that come with building on a healthcare campus.
We know what it means to stage materials in tight footprints.
We know how to phase work around emergency access routes.
We know how to communicate with facilities teams to keep disruptions low.
And most of all, we know how to finish on time. Even when the schedule is aggressive.
expand
Unlike typical construction firms, FINFROCK is a vertically integrated design-builder. That means we combine architecture, engineering, precast concrete manufacturing, and general contracting under one roof. The result? A seamless process where pricing, design, and construction planning happen concurrently, eliminating guesswork and giving you cost certainty from the start.
expand
When you work with FINFROCK, there's no need to manage handoffs between multiple firms. You're working with one experienced partner who owns the entire process—from concept to capacity.
And because our structures are manufactured in-house, we can maintain a pace that other builders simply can't match while maintaining strict quality standards and structural durability built for decades of 24/7 hospital traffic.
Unlike traditional cast-in-place methods where the focus often ends at the first pour, FINFROCK's precast concrete is a true lifecycle solution, designed and built with longevity, efficiency, and long-term value in mind. As both architect and builder, we consider how a structure will perform for decades, not just how it stands on day one.

I rely on Medicaid to live. Trump's cuts make survival a privilege instead of a right.

When Congress cuts Medicaid, they aren't just targeting a program. They're threatening our ability to live, to care and to be cared for. I wake up every morning unsure if someone will be there to help me out of bed. That's the reality for many disabled people like me who rely on Medicaid. It's the program that allows me to live on my own terms – to work, create and contribute. But every year, my future is reduced to a line item politicians can vote on. The system was already failing us before these recent cuts. Getting enough hours felt like a battle. Navigating paperwork was a full-time job. The support I needed was out of reach – offered in theory, withheld in practice. My caregivers have other jobs and families. Coordinating support feels like solving a puzzle that keeps changing. When I can't make it work, I miss out. I cancel plans, skip opportunities, stay home. Not because I'm disabled, but because the system makes participation impossible. We recently marked two anniversaries: 35 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law and 60 years since Medicaid was created. These were meant to be moments of celebration. Instead, I spent those days at a 60-hour vigil outside the Capitol, protesting the Medicaid cuts buried inside what the Trump administration calls 'One Big Beautiful Bill.' I sat sweating in my wheelchair while they celebrated the ADA, honoring disability rights while gutting the program that makes those rights real. Trump's hollow gestures mask brutal cuts for people with disabilities The symbolism was hollow. The reality was brutal. Medicaid pays the caregivers who help me eat, bathe and start my day. Without that funding, that care disappears – and so do the jobs that provide it. Opinion: Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill victory tour hits major bump – voters hate it I've had a disability – muscular dystrophy – my entire life, and have relied on Medicaid throughout my adulthood. The former shaped my identity with pride. The latter turned my existence into a negotiation, where my needs are measured against cost and my future hinges on someone else's math and stock prices. In 2020, I moved out on my own during the COVID-19 pandemic and asked for more caregiving hours. I was denied. I appealed to my Medicaid provider but was ultimately rejected again, essentially because I was 'not disabled enough.' That's what it's like to live in a system where your basic needs are judged by people who don't understand your life. Millions of families are in the same impossible position – forced to choose between caregiving and working, between paying for help and paying rent. The wages are low and the hours are unpredictable. Without stability, how do you build a life? One of the harshest provisions, part of nearly $1 trillion in cuts, would force people with lifelong disabilities to reverify their Medicaid eligibility every six months – as if conditions like muscular dystrophy might just disappear. This isn't about fraud prevention. It's about making the process so exhausting that people give up or get left behind. Two years ago, my Medicaid office lost a form. They said I never submitted it and ended my coverage. I had to start over, submitting more than 400 pages of documents. I went two months without insurance or caregiving. It was terrifying. And this bill could make that nightmare the norm. Medicaid cuts will make care a luxury for Americans with disabilities The agenda behind these cuts reflects a cruel belief: that people like me are expendable. That our care is a luxury. That billionaires deserve tax breaks more than I deserve to go to the bathroom more than twice a day. But I've seen what's possible when we invest in care. I helped pass the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in New Jersey because I know how essential care work is – and how deeply undervalued it remains. I've lost caregivers not because they didn't care, but because they couldn't afford to stay. Your Turn: Medicaid handouts only create dependency. Able-bodied adults should work. | Opinion Forum Medicaid makes life possible. It funds home and community-based care not just for disabled people but also for older adults, parents and caregivers across the country. When Congress cuts Medicaid, they aren't just targeting a program. They're threatening our ability to live, to care and to be cared for. And here's the truth: You don't have to be disabled to need Medicaid. One accident, one diagnosis, one lost job – that's all it takes. When I couldn't get the care I needed, my best friend Zack stepped in. He crashed on my couch for months to make sure I was safe and fed. He did it out of love. But no one should have to rely on a friend to survive. We need more than speeches. We need leaders who see disabled people as human beings. We need a Medicaid system that doesn't just help us survive but lets us thrive. So don't just celebrate the ADA. Don't just mark Medicaid's anniversary. Show us that our lives matter. Protect the programs that give us independence, dignity and joy. From where I sit, holding tight to the care that keeps me alive, this bill isn't beautiful. It's a threat to everything we've built – and everything we still hope to become. Steve Way, an actor and comedian, is a member of the Caring Across Generations' Creative Care Council.

Luxury multifamily that builds itself? Not quite…but close.

In South Florida's competitive multifamily market, luxury projects don't just need to look good—they need to lease fast, open on time, and hit pro forma. But between labor shortages, complex design elements, and rising material costs, even high-end developments can get bogged down by the traditional construction model. Miss your target occupancy date by a few months, and suddenly a premium property becomes a margin killer. That's why some of the region's most forward-thinking developers are partnering with FINFROCK —replacing fragmented delivery methods with modular, off-site strategies that streamline schedules and reduce risk. And while no building truly builds itself, some come impressively close. A Smarter Way to Build Luxury At the center of these faster, smoother projects is a different kind of delivery model: one built around total control of cost, schedule, and structure. Some developers are discovering that the easiest way to simplify a complex luxury project is to work with one partner who does it all. FINFROCK isn't your typical construction partner. As a vertically integrated firm, the company combines: Architecture Structural engineering Precast concrete manufacturing General contracting All under one roof. This single-source model allows projects to move faster, with fewer handoffs, clearer communication, and far less risk to the owner. It also gives developers something rare in today's construction landscape: confidence before breaking ground. Because FINFROCK serves as both architect and general contractor, we're directly incentivized to design smarter—what we draw, we later have to build ourselves. That means it's in our best interest to catch mistakes early and make decisions that benefit the project from day one. expand Behind the Build: How Modular Structure Powers Luxury Projects At the heart of FINFROCK's system is its patented DualDeck® Building System. It's a modular method of construction that allows floor and ceiling components to be built together off-site—complete with space for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems in between. With laser-guided manufacturing technology, FINFROCK designs with literal laser confidence—translating digital precision directly into the built environment. expand Once delivered to the jobsite, these massive precast units are craned into place and assembled quickly, forming the structural skeleton of a luxury building in a fraction of the time. Here's why it works: The structure is manufactured with factory precision Coordination happens before construction starts, not in the field Design, pricing, and buildability are all aligned from the beginning Precast components go up quickly, saving months of on-site labor FINFROCK's architecture team delivers the efficiency of modular construction—without sacrificing bold, customized design. For developers and their teams, this often means fewer change orders, fewer costly surprises—and an aesthetically attractive building that looks like it's rising on autopilot. South Florida Developers Are Already Seeing the Results FINFROCK is a one-stop shop for luxury property development, known for using advanced materials like precast concrete manufactured in its own facility to deliver high-quality, turnkey buildings. FINFROCK's multifamily portfolio includes some of the most ambitious residential projects in the region. From coastal towers to mixed-use urban developments, our system is built to support: Luxury apartments Integrated structured parking Ground-floor retail + amenity space And beyond multifamily, we serve: Ready to Build Luxury That Performs? Planning a luxury multifamily project? Contact FINFROCK to streamline delivery, reduce risk, and hit your pro forma goals.
