Ethan Plath's New Girlfriend Makes Her 'Welcome to Plathville' Debut After He Deletes His Instagram Post Introducing Her

"Out of the blue, I found the one," Ethan said of girlfriend Teegan NicholsNEED TO KNOW
Ethan Plath's new girlfriend, Teegan Nichols, made her debut on the Aug. 5 episode of Welcome to Plathville
The reality star first introduced Teegan to fans on Instagram in January, but that post has since been removed from his page
Ethan's new relationship comes after he and his ex-wife Olivia Plath divorced following five years of marriageEthan Plath is offering a look into his first relationship after his divorce from ex-wife Olivia Plath.
In the Aug. 5 episode of Welcome to Plathville, Ethan introduced girlfriend Teegan Nichols to the cameras after 10 months of dating. The pair revealed that they met on social media when Ethan was still newly single, but neither thought anything would come of it.
'I went on a couple dates in the beginning even though I was hung up on Olivia — I was looking for someone who gets along with my family, is not attracted to drama,' Ethan explained. 'And then out of the blue, I found the one.'
'I had posted a picture of me and my motorcycle and she I guess commented back, 'It's a nice motorcycle,'' he continued, joking: 'I looked at her profile and I was like, 'Oh, dang. Like, it is a very nice motorcycle.''
Teegan admitted that she assumed she wouldn't ever get a response from Ethan, so when she did, she 'was really caught off guard and excited.'
'I was jumping up and down because I really thought I'd never hear from you,' she told him.
This was the first time Teegan was getting to explore the area where Ethan grew up in Georgia, making her realize just how different their upbringings were.
'Ethan's childhood was spent more at home, and they didn't really wander past the farm it seems like, at all. Only on special occasions,' she explained. 'That's definitely different than how I was raised. I was — I don't want to use the word normal — but you know, normal K-12 education and then college.'
Another major difference in their lives: Teegan is a mom from a previous relationship.
'I love being a mom,' she said. 'It's the best thing I could have ever asked for. I've always wanted to be a mom, so it's like a dream come true that I get to live every day.'
'Ethan does have a relationship with my child,' she went on to reveal. 'I think Ethan will be a great dad one day.'
He shared that it 'doesn't bother' him at all that Teegan has a child and even noted that he hopes to have a big family of his own one day.
'I can't imagine what it'd be like to actually have our own, but just seeing the joy that it brings to her, I see it as a good thing,' Ethan said.
When Teegan suggested going to see Ethan's mom, Kim, he emphasized the importance of having his family back in his life after splitting from Olivia.
When he opened up about his divorce still not being finalized to Teegan, she comforted him.
'Everyone has life experiences and that relationship was before me,' she told cameras. 'So I do just wish they could both peacefully move on. I think they both deserve that.'
She added that Ethan 'is my best friend' and 'we can talk about anything," before he declared that 'I am most definitely in love with Teegan.'
Later, the couple visited Kim, who gushed over Teegan's easy-going demeanor.
'I feel like Olivia, even from early on, really felt like she had to control Ethan,' Kim said. 'Like where he went and who he was with and who he talked to and what he did. And I don't get that from Teegan at all."
"I get that she's happy to step back and let him talk to me or do whatever he wants. There's a freedom there that I'm sure Ethan really appreciates," she continued.
'I can tell that she's supportive of him having a relationship with me, but I'd like to get to the point where she's not quiet around me,' Kim added.

Teegan also met Ethan's brother Micah and his girlfriend Veronica, who was struggling to get along with the Plath family after a fallout with his sister Moriah.
When she began talking about their feud, Teegan was unsure how to respond.
'I try to be respectful of anyone and everyone I meet, especially when I meet somebody for the first time,' she noted. 'So I really want to be there and present in the moment to listen. But at the same time, you know, I have not experienced any of that at all.'
Veronica then expressed her worry for Lydia and her boyfriend at the time, Zac Wyse, after they announced plans to get married within six months of meeting, but Teegan stayed quiet.
'I also don't think you should be saying things about people, especially when it comes to somebody's wedding day or if they're happy and what they're doing,' she said. 'Regardless of what your own opinions are, you should be supportive.'
The episode comes months after Ethan introduced Teegan to fans on his Instagram, but his post has since been deleted.
In January, Ethan shared a series of photos with Teegan announcing their relationship.
'Proud to introduce my sweet girlfriend!' he wrote in the captioned. 'She truly is one of the sweetest, kindest, and patient people I've ever known! Looking forward to the next year and what it has to bring. Wishing everyone a very happy new year! Here we go 2025!'
Seven months later, all content including Teegan has been erased from Ethan's page, and he does not appear on hers, although it is unclear if they have split or are still together.
The new relationship came a little over a year after he announced his separation from then-wife Olivia in October 2023 after five years of marriage. They officially filed for divorce in February 2024, listing their initial date of separation as February 2023.

This Video Of Mariah Carey Finding Out That Katy Perry Went To Space Is The Funniest Thing I've Seen All Week, And You Need To Watch It

Back in April, Katy Perry and five others took a 10-minute trip to space thanks to Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin aerospace company, and it was basically all anyone talked about for about a week. Maybe even two. Blue Origin / Via Gilbert Flores / Getty Images Between the backlash and memes, the interviews and think-pieces, it's almost impossible to imagine that anyone with access to the internet could've missed the news. Which brings us to the one and only, Mariah Carey. Related: In a new interview with the BBC, radio host Scott Mills asked Mariah if she could ever see herself following in Katy's footsteps — only to very quickly realize she had no idea what he was talking about. Even with her big black shades on, the confusion on Mariah's face was evident. 'Did she go to space?' she said. Related: Mariah has a reputation for leaning into a bit every now and then if she's feeling shady; however, in this instance, she appeared genuinely baffled as she dug for answers: 'Where'd she go?!' she asked, looking around the room. Someone off camera chimed in to give Mariah the context that she needed — i.e., that Katy's space mission was rather brief — and the music icon was even more intrigued. 'Into orbit and back? She's like, floating in the…,' she said. 'And this is true?' BBC / Via Related: When Scott clarified that he was, in fact, not making it up, Mariah expressed her admiration, while also seeming totally unbothered by the whole thing, which is a skill in itself. 'Wow, alright Katy,' she said, totally deadpan. 'I'm not mad at her. That's pretty amazing.' And just when you thought the clip couldn't get any better, Scott returns to his initial question of, 'Would you do it?' to which she replied: 'I think I've done enough.' Indeed, you have, Mariah. It truly doesn't get more iconic than that. The video has only been up for a few hours, and already, people are obsessed — not only with the fact that Mariah had no idea about the space trip, but just how chill she is about the whole thing. 'I want to be THIS genuinely chill about actually everything,' one TikTok user wrote. ''I think I've done enough' says it all 🤣' added another. 'Mariah lives in her own World. everyone else is irrelevant 😅,' commented someone else, while another said: 'Only space she knows, is her own 🤣 - Queen Aura' Related: Well, if we needed any more confirmation that Mariah is simply not like the rest of us, then this was it. The duo reunites for ‘Freakier Friday': What Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan have been up to since 2003

More than 20 years after 'Freaky Friday' became a generational favorite, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are back on screen together. The sequel hits theaters Friday, picking up years after the original and introducing a new generation to the mother-daughter body-swap comedy. Released in 2003 as a remake of the 1976 film, 'Freaky Friday' followed a tightly wound mother and her rebellious teenage daughter who magically switch bodies after a fortune cookie mishap and are forced to live each other's lives for a day. The film earned over $160 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. Since then, both actors have taken different paths in Hollywood, but have found their way back to their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. From Activia ads to the Academy Awards: Jamie Lee Curtis After 'Freaky Friday,' Curtis shifted focus to her literary career and made frequent commercial appearances, including a long-running campaign for Activia. She later returned to acting in both television and film, according to Rotten Tomatoes. 'You Again' (2010) 'Christmas with the Kranks' (2004) 'NCIS' (recurring role, 2012) 'Halloween' films (1978–2022) 'Knives Out' (2019) 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' (2022) — won Academy Award for best supporting actress Curtis has written several bestselling children's books, including 'Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born' and 'Big Words for Little People." In recent years, Curtis has become a public advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility around aging in Hollywood. She has spoken openly about parenting a transgender daughter and addressing industry-wide ageism. According to The Guardian, during a 2018 global press tour for 'Halloween,' fans consistently asked her about a potential 'Freaky Friday' sequel. That interest prompted her to call Disney CEO Bob Iger. 'I said: 'Look, I don't know if you're planning on doing (a sequel), but Lindsay is old enough to have a teenager now, and I'm telling you the market for that movie exists,'' Curtis recalled. A new chapter for Lindsay Lohan Following her time as Anna Coleman, Lohan became one of the most recognized teen stars of the early 2000s. She faced a period of personal and legal difficulties in the years that followed, stepping back from the spotlight before reemerging in the 2020s. 'Mean Girls' (2004) 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' (2004) 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' (2005) 'Falling for Christmas' (2022) 'Irish Wish' (2024) Lohan's career was interrupted by challenges that drew heavy media attention. In the past few years, she's quietly reemerged with a more measured public image. Lohan married financier Bader Shammas in 2022 and welcomed their first child in 2023. In recent interviews, she's spoken about her renewed focus on family and work-life balance. Lohan and Curtis reflect on 20 years When asked what had changed the most in the 20 years since the pair had worked together, Lohan told the "Today Show Australia," 'I've had a kid,' prompting Curtis to laugh and add, 'And mine have grown up.' 'I've lived such a long life in a such a short amount of time, really, and I've learned so many lessons,' Lohan said. 'I'm really grateful for my life today and I'm really appreciative for it. I wouldn't really want to switch with anyone. I wouldn't give up a moment in my shoes with my son or my husband or my family.' At the film's world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Curtis explained the timing behind the sequel. 'There's math involved. You couldn't make this movie if Lindsay didn't have a teenage daughter, so she had to be old enough,' Curtis told TheWrap. 'And there's a nostalgia about the movie. In a time of turmoil, you cling to something nostalgic and familiar, so it's like comfort food.' 'I think 'Freaky Friday' is sort of cinema comfort food,' she added. 'It's satisfying, makes you feel good, makes you laugh, makes you cry.' Solve the daily Crossword
