Aperal have announced a four-day summer event, transforming Grand Canal Dock into a 'shimmering stage of sunshine, spritz and sparkle'.

Suspended on a specially built pontoon, next to 'Aperol Island', the dazzling disco ball will come alive with light projections, casting mesmerising reflections across the Dock from day to night, 'bringing a new kind of energy to one of Dublin's most iconic locations'.
The installation heralds the arrival of Aperidisco at Charlotte Quay, just steps from the glittering dock.
The programme is set to be packed with immersive and free evening sessions on Thursday and Friday, casual walk-in experiences on Saturday and Sunday, and exclusive limited-ticket events, all designed 'to celebrate the joy of shared moments over a perfectly poured Aperol Spritz.'
The weekend sessions begin at 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday through AperiColazione with Yoga Beats, blending traditional yoga practices with a chilled music set from DJ Gill and Aperol Spritz overlooking the dock.

The Aperidisco Brunch starts from 1pm, where attendees will enjoy an Aperol Spritz, a masterclass in spritz creation, and a two-course Italian-inspired brunch.
Saturday's experience will feature a disco-infused set from DJ Kelly-Anne Byrne, while Sunday will offer a live culinary masterclass from Charlotte Quay's Executive Chef, Daniel Hannigan.
On Saturday afternoon, a Sculpted by Aimee Masterclass will take place with renowned makeup artist Aimee Connolly at 3pm.
With a limited capacity of just 150 guests per night, Aperidisco starts at 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with light Italian bites, spritz masterclasses, and headline DJ sets from January Winters and Lance West.

Brian Robinson, UK partnership markets director at Campari Group, said that Aperol 'embodies the joy of shared moments together with friends, bringing its golden hour vibes to any moment.
'Aperidisco is our way of bringing people together to celebrate the Summer with top Irish DJs, an immersive Aperol experience and of course a refreshing Aperol Spritz,' he said.
Thursday and Friday at Aperidisco are free to attend, while Saturday and Sunday will feature ticketed events with limited capacity priced between €10 and €25.
Aperol Island and the Aperol Terrazza will remain open to walk-ins throughout the weekend.

Vogue Williams reveals the secret to her incredible figure and it involves AVOIDING salads

Vogue Williams has given an insight into how she maintains her incredible figure and revealed the one rule she swears by. The Irish presenter, 39, is known for her love of exercise and often gives an insight into her health and fitness regime on her social media. In recent days, she has been showing off her frame while strutting her stuff in an array of stylish bikinis during a family holiday in Spain. And ahead of her 40th birthday in October, Vogue spoke about how she keeps fit and healthy and revealed the one nutrition tip she always keeps to. Though it might be a stereotype that celebrities are eating clean with salads, Vogue insisted she would never have a salad as a main meal because it isn't filling enough. 'I have eggs with toast or porridge in the morning. And I don't have salad as a meal ever - salads are side portions,' she told Closer Magazine. 'When people order salad for lunch, I'm like ''you're going to be hungry in half an hour!'' I just can't!' Vogue exercises five or six times a week, fitting in 30-minute workouts from the fitness app Flexy into her busy family life whenever she can. The media personality said she also keeps active by walking her kids Theodore, six, and Gigi, four, to school and her youngest son Otto, three, to nursery. Vogue has always kept a keen focus on her fitness and told MailOnline how she never regrets a workout and kept training until the day she gave birth to Otto. Speaking while pregnant with Otto in May 2022, she shared: 'Someone asked me yesterday when will I stop training and I said ''well it depends on what I'm doing the day when I give birth''. 'I'll be training right up until the very end because I think if you feel up to it then you might as well do it. I wouldn't train if I didn't feel like it, so I judge it like that. 'It makes me feel better, I never regret a training session.' Vogue loves keeping active and is so experienced in the gym that she knew exactly what she would and wouldn't be able to do while pregnant. 'I do a lot of weights that's the funny thing as well, people will see you picking up a bag and they're like ''don't do that'' and I'm thinking I was just squatting weights, I am able to pick up the weights,' she added. Despite being fitness-focused, Vogue - who is married to Spencer Matthews - said she never puts pressure on her body, especially after giving birth. 'I had a really good birth after Gigi and I got back on the bike again quite quickly but weights take a little longer,' she shared. 'I would be weary of doing weights before so looking after my body first is more important to me rather than getting straight back into training.' Her husband Spencer is also a fitness fanatic and recently completed 30 marathons in 30 days across the Jordanian desert - though Vogue said she doesn't intend to reach those levels herself. Last summer, Spencer made history when he broke the world record for the most consecutive marathons run on sand with his epic fitness challenge. He raised over £500,000 for Global's Make Some Noise and described it as his biggest achievement aside from his marriage to Vogue and their three children.

Maura Higgins sparks concern as she begs fans to help her with painful injured knee admitting it feels like it is 'on fire' and is 'killing her'

sparked serious concern after telling fans her injured knee is 'killing her'. The Irish TV star, 34, reached out for help from her fans on Instagram on Friday, explaining her knee felt like it was pulsing. Posing in a make-up free selfie as she held a drink in her hand, the Love Island alum wrote: 'Don't have the time right now to see a specialist, but if anyone has any recommendations for something I can buy to stop my knee from KILLING please DM me. 'It feels like there's a pulse inside of it & it's also on fire. 'The running around with the house move has not helped it. (yes my greys are out too, no time for that either.' The concerning update comes after Maura moved into her £1.25million five-bedroom 'dream house' in Essex. The Irish TV star reached out for help to her fans as she penned: 'Don't have the time right now to see a specialist, but if anyone has any recommendations for something I can buy to stop my knee from KILLING please DM me' Maura, who has amassed an estimated £3.2million fortune from her TV appearances, took to Instagram earlier this month to share the news that she had finally moved in. Sharing the news she posted a picture of stunning black French doors looking on to a garden, with a huge bouquet of glowers in a vase, Ferrari sparkling wine and a Diptyque candle. 'After the busiest few months.... she's finally in,' the former Love Island star captioned the snap. Sharing another snap of the kitchen featuring her pal, celebrity hairdresser Carl Bembridge, she wrote: 'No chairs yet but he always finds something to sit on.' As a young woman in rural Ireland, Maura's future was set - stay in the town, marry her teenage boyfriend and open up a hair salon. 'But that's not what I wanted. That was not my dream. That was my father's and boyfriend's dream. I wanted to do more,' Maura previously defiantly declared. And leave Ireland she did, going on to star in two ITV reality shows, Love Island and most recently I'm A Celebrity, as well as taking on presenting duties. Sharing the news she posted a picture of stunning black french doors looking on to a garden, with a huge bouquet of glowers in a vase, Ferrari sparkling wine and a Diptyque candle In her next big move, the girl from remote County Longford purchased her huge house in Essex. Her riches have allowed the presenter to upgrade from her previous one-bedroom property in Essex to one with an en-suite master bedroom with four further rooms. Overjoyed, Maura shared to her Instagram followers a picture of her new kitchen with a chandelier and grey floors, which she bought in October, with the caption 'Bought my dream house'. An expansive kitchen, with an island, leads out past the dining area, out bi-folding doors to a large walled garden with a neat lawn. Maura's previous home was raided by three-masked men and so the Love Island star has ensured her new home was in a gated development which provides privacy and security.
