
Agricultural activities in summer schools in Ibb launched
Ibb - Saba:
The Agriculture Sector in Ibb province on Monday launched its Agricultural Activities Program in Summer Schools, collaborating with the Subcommittee for Summer Activities.
The program, initiated at al-Nahda, al-Farouq, al-Sarkha, and Shahid al-Quran Schools in al-Dhihar district, aims to instill a culture of agriculture in children and youth, encourage tree planting, and educate them on the benefits of plants to combat desertification, protect the environment, improve living conditions, and support the national economy.
Over 35,000 fruit and forest trees, including Adini coffee trees, have been provided for planting in schoolyards and summer centers across the province.
This year's activities include tree planting, awareness lessons, guidance, and training on the importance and conservation of agriculture, motivating students to undertake agricultural initiatives.
Officials emphasized the program's role in equipping students with tree planting skills, promoting tree planting as a community culture, and highlighting agriculture as a key to national sovereignty. They commended the agricultural sector's efforts in fostering a love for agriculture and afforestation among young people.

Closing ceremony of summer courses in Bidbadah District, Marib
Marib - Saba: The Subcommittee for Summer Activities, Courses, and General Mobilization in Marib province, along with the Executive Committee in Bidbadah District, organized a closing ceremony on Tuesday to mark the conclusion of the 1446 AH summer courses. During the event, students carried the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, along with banners and chants expressing the steadfast support of the Yemeni people for the Palestinian cause. At the ceremony, Mohammed Alwan, Director of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority branch, highlighted the successes of the summer courses in nurturing youth spiritually and physically, and in building a generation equipped with knowledge to confront the schemes of the nation's enemies. Meanwhile, Ali Siraj, the District Education Director, praised the efforts of the course organizers, teachers, and instructors in educating students through activities beneficial to their academic and practical lives. He emphasized that the summer courses had borne fruit, with students from various areas gaining scientific, cultural, and intellectual benefits. The closing ceremony was attended by Bidbadah District Director Dharan Al-Saqaf, District Local Secretary Ali Al-Hayyi, Rescue Forces Colonel Abdulqawi Al-Mawadi, as well as social and military figures. Cultural Competition for Summer Course Students in Bidbadah District, Marib
Marib - Saba: The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in Bidbadah District, Marib, organized a cultural competition on Monday between students of Imam Ali Model School and students of Al-Shahid Abu Hashim Al-Qansi School. The competition, attended by local and mobilization leaders, aimed to assess students' levels , refine their cultural, intellectual, and creative skills. Participating students presented various performances in fields such as Quran recitation, poetry, chants, and Quranic knowledge, reflecting the skills they acquired during the summer courses. The judging committee praised the students' academic and cognitive levels, as well as the efforts made by the summer school organizers in enhancing the students' knowledge and broadening their horizons.
