Freddy Brazier 'smokes joint' with Jade Goody's mum as dad Jeff reportedly sets court date

Daily Record2 days ago

Jeff Brazier has reportedly set a court date to stop son Freddy seeing his gran Jackiey.
TV presenter Jeff Brazier is said to have reportedly set a court date to stop son Freddy from seeing his gran Jackiey - who is the mum of the late Jade Goody. This comes as recent pictures have emerged of the pair smoking together in London.
Jeff had two sons with the Big Brother star - Bobby, 21, and Freddy, 20. The presenter is now trying to block contact between Freddy and Jackiey, but his youngest son has been seen to be spending time with his gran despite this dad's concerns.

Back in March, it was reported that Jeff had launched legal proceedings to stop the family members meeting with each other, reports the Mirror. However, this has not seemed to help the relationship between the father and son.

Freddy has been previously reported to have a 'secret feud' with his dad, which has led to him 'storming out the house' after arguments and choosing to stay at Jackiey Budden's flat in southeast London while he settles down.
Jeff also revealed on Celebrity Race Around The World that he doesn't see Freddy much as the 20-year-old "isn't at home loads".

In photos revealed by The Sun, Freddy and Jackiey, 68, were seen together by the Thames in South London. In the snaps, it appears that the pair were smoking what looked like a joint.
It was also reported that Jeff has a court date set to stop Freddy seeing his granny due to concerns about his welfare. A source said: "'These pictures show exactly why Jeff is so worried about his son.
"Jackiey's influence over Freddy is harmful to his overall wellbeing. It's very sad that a grandmother would want to encourage her grandson to do something that could potentially be so damaging."

Sources have also claimed that last year arguments between the father and son got so tense that Freddy would storm out to go to his nan's.
At the time, the source said: "Freddy will often turn up on the doorstep, sometimes very unhappy, and wanting to see his nan.

"He and Jeff often argue, the rows can be bad, things go really, really pear-shaped between them and that's it, he leaves.
"While Jackiey has her issues - and will be the first to admit she isn't the most perfect or archetypal grandmother - he can share his feelings with her which is something he can't do at Jeff's."
However, despite whatever 'feud' is between the pair, Jeff and Freddy appeared together on Celebrity Race Across The World, which let viewers get a glimpse of their dynamic.

Jeff shared that he was excited at the idea of going on the gruelling trip with his son, as it would mean they would have the opportunity to spend some quality time together despite living in the same house.
Jeff said: "D'you know what I'm most looking forward to about this trip is that I feel like I'm about to learn a lot more about my son."
In the opening episode, Jeff shared his thoughts with the viewers, saying: "[Fred] isn't at home loads and as a result, I don't see loads of him, but the beauty of this trip is he's with me and can't shake me off."

Two major games to stop working on some PlayStation and Xbox consoles – it'll cost fans a fortune to keep playing

There are a number of reasons why games lose support for older consoles, such as development costs and hardware limitations GAME OVER Two major games to stop working on some PlayStation and Xbox consoles – it'll cost fans a fortune to keep playing TWO popular games are winding down this month as they lose compatibility with older consoles. To keep playing, fans will have to upgrade to the newer PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S - costing as much as £499. 2 Black Desert Online will end support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after nearly a decade Credit: Pearl Abyss 2 The First Descendant is also ending support for last-generation consoles, less than a year after it first launched Credit: Nexon Black Desert Online and The First Descendant are the latest titles to ditch support for the aging PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. After nearly a decade of service, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the Black Desert Online will be shutting down on 26 June. The creators at developer Pearl Abyss said they were shifting focus to the existing PC version of the game and the all-new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. In-game purchases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players are set to be restricted. Gamers will be able to keep playing - and pick up from where they left off - only if they upgrade to a new console. When Black Desert Online is eventually made available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S after maintenance, players on the respective PS and Xbox platforms may continue with all their saved data, its creators said. All game data, including purchased items and in-game currency will be stored and accessible on those platforms. The First Descendant is also ending support for last-generation consoles, less than a year after it first launched. The title is set to be discontinued on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from 19 June, just two weeks before the game's first anniversary. The Sun tries new Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart before it's out The creators at Nexon Games pinned the decision on the "increased scale" of the game. The developer added that the team was spending "a lot of effort and difficulty maintaining the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One builds," prior to the shutdown. The First Descendant has been on a downward trajectory for the last few months as its player count dwindles, according to The Gamer. There are a number of reasons why games lose support for older consoles, such as development costs and hardware limitations. Older hardware can't keep up with modern game features, making it harder to deliver new content smoothly on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Scarlett Moffatt shares tear-jerking message as she makes her dream come true

The former Gogglebox star and I'm A Me Out Of Here! winner, 34, shared a body positivity message with her fans as she made one of her dreams come true. Scarlett Moffatt has delivered an empowering message on body positivity, fulfilling one of her lifelong aspirations. The 34-year-old Gogglebox sensation, who rose to prominence while giving her take on television from her family's couch, spread positivity as she spun around during the finals of a ballroom dancing contest. Radiating joy in a vibrant neon green frock adorned with feathers and a sparkling belt, the mother-of-one urged her followers to pursue happiness regardless of any inhibitions. In a video where she's seen beaming and dancing with a childhood friend donning a navy jumpsuit, she captioned: "I've said it once I'll say it a million times. DO NOT let your shape, size or age stop you from doing something that brings you joy. ‌ "Don't let that silly inner sabotage voice tell you ya won't be able to do it. Don't tell yourself I'll do it when I'm thinner, when I'm fitter or when a, b or c happens. Do it now!" ‌ The star of I'm A Me Out Of Here! added: "I can't tell you how much joy dancing in two finals with my childhood friend has made me this weekend. I was thinking of nothing but the sheer joy that dance brings me, I hope I can encourage one more person to do the same.", reports the Mirror. Her motivational words were met with applause from her celebrity pals, with many echoing Scarlett's sentiments. Ex-Strictly contestant Ian Waite commented: "Love this darling", and It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara chimed in with: "Yes yes yes!!!!" Meanwhile, actress Emily Atack left a comment: "Omg obsessed xxxxxx", and Strictly's professional dancer Karen Hauer cheered on with: "Wooohooo yes babe!!" When Scarlett joined the cast of Gogglebox, her vibrant character, Northern charm, and quick wit instantly made her a telly favourite. But fame became overwhelming for the star after her I'm A Celebrity win in 2016; she found herself struggling with mental health issues, at one point calling Samaritans 20 times for help. ‌ Struggling under the weight of her newfound celebrity status, Scarlett confessed there was a time when she "wanted to disappear" at the height of her struggles. It was during this low point that she discovered Samaritans on social media, which ultimately provided her with the lifeline she needed. In 2022, Scarlett lent her support to a government campaign encouraging people to take care of their mental well-being. This initiative followed findings from The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) which indicated that nearly 70% of Britons suffered from "Sunday Scaries", anxiety triggered by impending work commitments, sleep deprivation and burgeoning task lists. ‌ While discussing her own experiences with anxiety with the Mirror, she revealed: "It doesn't even matter how many years I've been doing this, I still want to perform well. So that anxiety around getting my lines right, and hoping they want to work with me again all start." The television celebrity, who is set to marry Scott Dobinson and together they have a two year old son named Jude, shared that her most effective strategy for coping with stressful times is to seek support from friends and family – a stark contrast to her past approach. She explained: "This has been a gradual thing, but now if I'm ever feeling that way, I reach out to a loved one. That's the opposite of what I used to do. I used to think I don't want to be a burden on anyone, or that I don't want to let anyone down."

Condom nearly 200 years old goes on display in Amsterdam museum

Bosses at the Rijksmuseum say it 'depicts both the playful and the serious side of sexual health', merging art with the city's infamous Red Light District. A museum in Amsterdam has began displaying a nearly 200-year-old condom as part of a new exhibition. Bosses at the Netherlands' national museum say the object merges art with the city's infamous Red Light District. ‌ The Rijksmuseum said in a statement the playful prophylactic, believed to be made around 1830 from a sheep's appendix, 'depicts both the playful and the serious side of sexual health'. ‌ It is part of an exhibition called Safe Sex? about 19th century sex work that opened on Tuesday. The condom, possibly a souvenir from a brothel, is decorated with an erotic image of a nun and three clergymen. The phrase 'This is my choice' is written along the sheath in French. According to the museum, this is a reference to the Pierre-Auguste Renoir painting The Judgment of Paris, which depicts the Trojan prince Paris judging a beauty contest between three goddesses. The condom is on display until the end of November. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today.
