Scarlett Moffatt shares tear-jerking message as she makes her dream come true

Daily Record2 days ago

The former Gogglebox star and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! winner, 34, shared a body positivity message with her fans as she made one of her dreams come true.
Scarlett Moffatt has delivered an empowering message on body positivity, fulfilling one of her lifelong aspirations. The 34-year-old Gogglebox sensation, who rose to prominence while giving her take on television from her family's couch, spread positivity as she spun around during the finals of a ballroom dancing contest.
Radiating joy in a vibrant neon green frock adorned with feathers and a sparkling belt, the mother-of-one urged her followers to pursue happiness regardless of any inhibitions. In a video where she's seen beaming and dancing with a childhood friend donning a navy jumpsuit, she captioned: "I've said it once I'll say it a million times. DO NOT let your shape, size or age stop you from doing something that brings you joy.

"Don't let that silly inner sabotage voice tell you ya won't be able to do it. Don't tell yourself I'll do it when I'm thinner, when I'm fitter or when a, b or c happens. Do it now!"

The star of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! added: "I can't tell you how much joy dancing in two finals with my childhood friend has made me this weekend. I was thinking of nothing but the sheer joy that dance brings me, I hope I can encourage one more person to do the same.", reports the Mirror.
Her motivational words were met with applause from her celebrity pals, with many echoing Scarlett's sentiments.
Ex-Strictly contestant Ian Waite commented: "Love this darling", and It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara chimed in with: "Yes yes yes!!!!"
Meanwhile, actress Emily Atack left a comment: "Omg obsessed xxxxxx", and Strictly's professional dancer Karen Hauer cheered on with: "Wooohooo yes babe!!"
When Scarlett joined the cast of Gogglebox, her vibrant character, Northern charm, and quick wit instantly made her a telly favourite. But fame became overwhelming for the star after her I'm A Celebrity win in 2016; she found herself struggling with mental health issues, at one point calling Samaritans 20 times for help.

Struggling under the weight of her newfound celebrity status, Scarlett confessed there was a time when she "wanted to disappear" at the height of her struggles. It was during this low point that she discovered Samaritans on social media, which ultimately provided her with the lifeline she needed.
In 2022, Scarlett lent her support to a government campaign encouraging people to take care of their mental well-being. This initiative followed findings from The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) which indicated that nearly 70% of Britons suffered from "Sunday Scaries", anxiety triggered by impending work commitments, sleep deprivation and burgeoning task lists.

While discussing her own experiences with anxiety with the Mirror, she revealed: "It doesn't even matter how many years I've been doing this, I still want to perform well. So that anxiety around getting my lines right, and hoping they want to work with me again all start."
The television celebrity, who is set to marry Scott Dobinson and together they have a two year old son named Jude, shared that her most effective strategy for coping with stressful times is to seek support from friends and family – a stark contrast to her past approach.
She explained: "This has been a gradual thing, but now if I'm ever feeling that way, I reach out to a loved one. That's the opposite of what I used to do. I used to think I don't want to be a burden on anyone, or that I don't want to let anyone down."

Piers Morgan's wife has 'brutal one word dig' after Meghan Markle shares video

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Piers Morgan's wife, Celia Walden, has launched a scathing criticism of Meghan Markle, calling her "desperate" following the release of an unseen video by the Duchess. Meghan Markle, 43, delighted supporters recently with the release of an intimate video where she and Prince Harry, 40, are seen celebrating in their Santa Barbara maternity ward as they anticipated the arrival of their daughter, Princess Lilibet. While the footage was met with enthusiasm by many for showcasing Meghan's playful side, not everyone was charmed, including Celia Walden. Walden, who is married to Piers Morgan, made an appearance on ITV's Lorraine where she joined Ranvir Singh and Reverend Richard Coles to dissect the controversial dance video and express her disapproval of the former Suits star's actions. The host questioned: "Is that what you think it is, rather than they're in that generation of oversharing is a thing everybody does anyway." Walden doubled down on her stance, saying: "That is true, but I do feel with her, very, very little is not premeditated, I have to say. I'm not sure how much he has to do with the decision-making. I could be being very unfair, perhaps he's fully in charge in that relationship.", reports the Mirror. (Image: Meghan/Instagram) (Image: ITV) Reverend Richard has commented on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's need to fund a "very lavish life" noting: "The opportunities for earning that kind of money you'd need to keep that show on the road, are few and the pressure then is on if you're going to feed the beast, what's the next tip that you throw." Reflecting on Meghan and Harry's choice to step down as senior working royals in January 2020 with the aim of achieving financial independence and more privacy, Celia remarked: "There's no judgement, but you can't have both." While some have criticised the Duchess, Ranvir Singh defended the video shared by Meghan, saying, "I kind of love it because I think it's really funny and warm. It's impressive, isn't it? She's a great dancer – not too sure about Harry." In celebration of little Lilibet's fourth birthday, the Duchess posted a video captioned: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!". The clip showcases the Royal couple dancing to music in the maternity room at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, following lyrics like "Been pregnant for way too long," with Meghan twerking energetically alongside Harry sporting his classic 'dad moves'. Meghan proudly showcased her blossoming bump, dancing freely around the room with total abandon. One of the lyrics seemed a sly jab at her detractors, proclaiming: "I'm a baby momma, I can do what I want."

Axed Love Island star breaks silence on sad return home after machete arrest

Axed Love Island star Kyle Ashman, who was cut from the upcoming series before the show has even launched, has insisted he's not a bad guy as he spoke out about his arrest Kyle Ashman speaks out following his axe from Love Island Axed Love Island star Kyle Ashman has spoken out in a new video to insist he's 'not a bad guy' and shared hopes to be able to take part in this year's ITV dating show – despite being chopped from the line-up hours after he was announced. Kyle, 23, was announced as part of this year's upcoming line-up heading into the villa in a bid to find love earlier this week. However, his time in the spotlight was abruptly cut short as it was reported the water operative was arrested and questioned by police alongside another person over an alleged attack in Stafford, which took place in February this year. ‌ Following the reports, Kyle and ITV spoke out on his departure from the show. Kyle strongly denied having any involvement in the incident. He said: "I fully cooperated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." Meanwhile, ITV told the Mirror: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." ‌ ITV also released a statement on his departure saying: "For personal reasons, Kyle will not be entering the Love Island Villa as planned." Since returning home, Kyle has posted a video online in which he explained the situation and shared his hopes to be able to take part in this year's series. In the clip, Kyle is wearing a white verst and jeans while holding a cup as he tells the camera: "Hello everyone, I'm Kyle. I just came on here to say, I'm sure you've seen the news circulating. I'm innocent, there was no further action." He sighs as he continues: "I'm not a bad guy, honestly, I'm not a bad guy. I'm a normal guy from a normal place. And opportunity arose to find love. I grabbed it with both hands and it's been taken away from me. I've seen all the support pages and, who knows, maybe I'll get a chance to go on Casa Amor or as a bombshell – get back in and show you who I really am, show you that I'm not a bad guy. We'll see," he says as he shrugs his shoulders. A statement from Staffordshire Police read: "We were called to a social club on Riverway, Stafford, at 7.40pm on Friday 28 February following reports that someone had been glassed outside and a fight was taking place. ‌ "Some of the men involved were wearing masks and were carrying weapons. Two men went to hospital after suffering injuries at the scene. Both have since been discharged. "A man and a woman suffered minor injuries at the scene but did not want any medical treatment. "A 22-year-old man, from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and affray. Another man, also 22 and from Stafford, was arrested on suspicion of affray. Both were released with no further action." ‌ Before entering the villa, Kyle had shared his expectations from the show and how he chats up love interests. He said: "I just go with it, find something to compliment a girl on and go from there." The star went on to say he was looking for "someone that's fun, confident and just themselves". While Kyle won't be joining the series, his replacement was confirmed last night. The show has confirmed that Conor will instead be looking for love. Speaking about signing up for the show, he said he wanted someone "who is really sure of themselves, ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic." Joining Conor in the villa are Blu, Shakira, Harry, Helena, Megan, Tommy, Alima, Ben, Sophie Lee, Dejon and Meg. The new series kicks off on ITV2 at 9pm on Monday June 9.

Noel Edmonds in huge ITV comeback with help of Mr Blobby in major move

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Noel Edmonds is set for a sensational return to our screens, and he's bringing his iconic sidekick Mr Blobby along for the ride. ITV is gearing up to air 'Noel Edmond's Kiwi Adventure' in the coming weeks, marking the veteran presenter's comeback to primetime television. The show will document how Noel, aged 76, embarked on a new chapter in New Zealand with his wife Liz after more than half a century on British TV. The series promises to give viewers an insight into Noel's ambitious project of creating New Zealand's inaugural energy garden and nurturing a nascent enterprise. Two years back, the couple acquired land near Ngatimoti, a quaint rural settlement, where they've established a hospitality venture at the community's core, complete with a vineyard, coffee cart, general store, and a pub and restaurant poised to welcome patrons for its second full season. In a freshly released trailer, Noel shares: "New Zealand is a great place to come to it's not the easiest place to set up a business. We're haemorrhaging money at the moment, what Liz and I wish to achieve is community." The surprise appearance of Mr Blobby in the footage prompts Noel to quip humorously: "You travel halfway round the world and he turns up!", reports the Mirror. Additionally, viewers are treated to a glimpse of his pub, dubbed 'The Bugger Inn', and a nostalgic Crinkley Bottom mug, harking back to his days as the host of 'Noel's House Party' on BBC. In March, whispers of the show began to circulate, drawing parallels with Jeremy Clarkson's programme, Clarkson's Farm, which is broadcast on Prime Video. However, Clarkson's Farm is now turning a profit, and it remains to be seen if Noel can ensure his venture is profitable amidst unseasonal bad weather and feelings of being an outsider. In 2018, Noel appeared on I'm A Celebrity and reportedly pocketed a £600,000 fee, along with the expectation that he could be one of the camp leaders for the duration of the series. However, in a shocking twist, Noel Edmonds was the first contestant to be voted off the show that year. Instead of pursuing further television opportunities, he relocated to New Zealand shortly afterwards to start afresh. Noel launched his broadcasting career as a host of Top of the Pops in the early 70s, later presenting the nineties favourite Noel's House Party alongside the much-loved Mr Blobby, and Deal Or No Deal.
