Al-Qassam Brigades target Israeli tank with powerful explosive device in western Khan Younis
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Friday that its fighters had targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a pre-prepared high-explosive IED west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Al-Qassam said:
'Our fighters targeted a Zionist Merkava tank with a powerful landmine-type explosive device on Thursday in the 'Maslakh' area southwest of Khan Younis.'
This attack is part of the continued military actions by Palestinian resistance factions in retaliation for the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza since October 7, 2023, with full U.S. backing. The aggression includes mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to cease hostilities.

"Popular Front": Yemen remains unbreakable, strong supporter of Palestine despite renewed Zionist Aggression
Gaza – SABA: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) affirmed on Monday that Yemen, with its leadership, armed forces, and resisting people, proves once again to be unbreakable, while the increasingly impotent Zionist enemy continues its relentless targeting of civilian sites in Yemen. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the PFLP stated: "Despite the ongoing aggression against Yemen, it remains unbroken and continues to be a strong supporter of Palestine, its people, and its resistance." The Front strongly condemned the latest Zionist attack on Hodeidah, Yemen, describing it as a clear reflection of the bankruptcy and confusion of the Zionist enemy and a confirmation of its failure to counter the precise strikes Yemen has launched deep into the Zionist entity. The PFLP expressed full solidarity with Yemen, its people, and armed forces, praising their steadfastness. It affirmed that Yemen will always remain dignified, resistant, and an authentic ally of Palestine, at a time when others have failed to stand with the oppressed and grieving people of Gaza. Yemen : IDF says attacked Houthi targets in Yemen's Hodeidah port
Aden - The Israeli military attacked Houthi targets in Yemen's Hodeidah port on Monday in its latest assault on the Iran-backed militants, who have been striking ships bound for Israel and launching missiles against it. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the army was 'forcefully countering any attempt to restore the terror infrastructure previously attacked.' The Houthi-run Al Masirah TV said on Monday that a series of attacks on the port was under way, without providing any details. In a statement, the Israeli military said the port it attacked had been used 'among other things, to transfer weapons from the Iranian regime, which are then used by the Houthi to execute terrorist attacks against the State of Israel and its allies.' A security official with the Houthis told AFP that Israeli strikes destroyed a dock that had been rebuilt after it was damaged in earlier attacks. 'The bombing destroyed the port's dock, which had been rebuilt following previous strikes,' the official told AFP, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters. Since Israel's war in Gaza against the Palestinian militant group Hamas began in October 2023, the Iran-aligned Houthis have been attacking vessels in the Red Sea in what they say are acts of solidarity with the Palestinians. Israel has responded by launching attacks on Houthis, who control the most populous parts of Yemen, including the vital Hodeidah port. 'As I have made clear – Yemen's fate is the same as Tehran's. The Houthis will pay a heavy price for launching missiles toward the State of Israel,' Katz said. Earlier in July, the Houthis claimed responsibility for an attack on the Greek ship Eternity C that maritime officials say killed four of the 25 people aboard. In May, the US announced a surprise deal with the Houthis where it agreed to stop a bombing campaign against them in return for an end to shipping attacks, though the Houthis said the deal did not include sparing Israel.
