Harvard scientist accused of smuggling frog embryos faces new charges
Kseniia Petrova, a scientist conducting cancer research at Harvard Medical School on a J-1 visa since 2023, was indicted on one count of concealment of a material fact, one count of false statement and one count of smuggling goods. She was first charged with smuggling in a criminal complaint filed May 12.
