Fans furious over detail in Addison Rae's Aussie tour

Daily Mail20-06-2025
Addison Rae fans have been left in outrage after the US pop star's tour was announced Down Under this week.
Sixty thousand wannabe concertgoers have scrambled to get tickets to her shows, but have faced long wait times for the limited numbers of gigs which are being held in small venues.
Instead of booking large arenas, Rae will be performing in venues like the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, which has a capacity of 1600.
In Melbourne, the 24-year-old Diet Pepi hitmaker is set to play at the Forum, which is limited to 2000.
''60k+ in the queue for a 2k-capacity venue is EVIL,' posted one fan on the Frontier Touring Instagram on Thursday, after the promoter announced they were adding more shows to Rae's schedule to meet the demand.

'I'm not sure what genius decided The Forum was the best venue,' commented another fan on the thread, adding, 'Probably could fill Rod Laver Arena more than once. Easy.'
'I'm begging you [the promoter] to upgrade [the] Sydney [show] to the Hordern,' complained another, referring to the Hordern Pavilion which can hold 5,500 fans.
Meanwhile, Rae's fans wondered why the performer was playing at 18+ venues such as the Forum and Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall, which holds 3,300 people.
'Melbourne all ages come on,' moaned one, while another added, 'Please no 18+ [shows].'
Rae was originally scheduled to play a mere three gigs in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.
The Aussie tour promoter has now added an extra gig in each city.
The TikTok star-turned-tunesmith will now do six Australian shows - Melbourne's The Forum on November 11 and 12, the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on November 14 and 15 and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on November 17 and 18.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Rae shared a string of dates that will see her kick off the tour in Dublin before heading across Europe and the US.
Instead of booking large arenas, Rae will be performing in venues like the Enmore Theatre in Sydney , which has a capacity of 1600
'The Addison tour is really real,' she excitedly captioned the announcement.
'I can't believe I get to sing and dance for you (and with you) this autumn. Are you coming?'
The announcement sent Australian fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their excitement over on promoter Frontier Touring's Instagram.
'A good way to start the day isn't it?' one quipped, while another offered a similar: 'Best news.'
General on sale begins at 10am on Friday, June 20.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Addison's self-titled debut album, which dropped earlier this month.
Thanks to such viral hits as Diet Pepsi, Aquamarine, and Headphones On, the album has nabbed a number four slot on the Billboard 200, and a number two spot on the Australian ARIA charts.

Major international artist set to perform at 2025 Logie Awards alongside Guy Sebastian

A major international performer has been added to the 2025 TV WEEK Logie Awards guest list and will share the stage with one of our own. Richard Marx, who has sold 30 million albums worldwide and is the name behind '80s hits such as What About Me? and Right Here Waiting, will be performing at The Star Sydney on August 3. The singer-songwriter is set to deliver a medley of his iconic hits to Aussie audiences alongside homegrown star Guy Sebastian, who will sing his new track, Get It Done. Richard released a statement following the announcement, revealing that his passionate Aussie fans inspired him to bring 'something special' to his Logies performance this year. 'Australians have always been huge supporters of my music and have brought their passion and infectious energy to my live shows across the decades,' he said. 'It is a privilege to be performing at Aussie TV's biggest night of celebrations. I can't wait to deliver something special for those at home and in the room.' Also on the musical line-up is beloved Aussie rocker Jimmy Barnes, who will headline the night with a repertoire spanning four decades of fan favourites. Jimmy, who has 21 number-one albums under his belt as well as a place in the ARIA Hall of Fame, revealed he couldn't wait to 'get the party jumping' at the annual awards ceremony. 'I am excited about playing at the Logies, television's big night of nights,' the 69-year-old said. 'It will be great to celebrate all the fantastic talent we have in Australian television, and to play some rock'n'roll music to get the party jumping.' Richard, Guy and Jimmy will be joined by the likes of Kitty Flanagan, Hamish Blake and Leigh Sales, who are just a few of the presenters expected to wow the crowd. It has also been revealed that Sam Pang will host the event for the third time. 'It's been an honour to host the last two years and I'm looking forward to again celebrating the talented people and amazing shows that combine to make the Australian television industry something everyone can be proud of,' Sam told The Herald Sun. 'I am very excited to return for another Logies and would like to thank Seven for asking me back.' Lynne McGranger, who played Irene Roberts on the soap opera Home and Away for over 33 years, has finally scored a Gold Logie nomination for her hard work. Taking to Instagram, the 72-year-old Aussie star gushed about the milestone moment in her career and urged fans to vote. 'Well this is some fabulous news to get while I'm away!!' she wrote. Ruby Rose reveals shock body modification as she steps out in Los Angeles after a string of bizarre claims about her living conditions

Ruby Rose revealed she has removed a tattoo of her former partner's name as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday. The Australian actor, 39, soaked up the sun as she went on a relaxing stroll with her two dogs. As she carried the pooches out of their pram and into her home, Ruby revealed her new body modification. The Batwoman star has removed a tattoo of her ex fiancée Phoebe Dahl's name from inside a red heart on her left shoulder. The ink previously featured both 'Phoebe + Ruby' inside the heart but the designer's name has now been erased. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Ruby was dressed casually for the outing in a grey singlet, shorts and sunglasses as she pushed her two dogs in a pram. She completed her look with long red socks and also wore black and white sneakers. Ruby re-emerged at the horse sanctuary last month after telling fans she has had to 'move house every few weeks' because she is being 'followed'. The Australian actor shared videos to Instagram, showing herself playing with goats at the sanctuary. Daily Mail Australia can reveal the movie star stays at the ranch for a few days at a time to visit the animals when she is in the area. Ruby tagged the sanctuary in her videos and even urged her 20.1 million followers to donate to the business, which is committed to 'equine rescue and rehabilitation'. In the clips, Ruby featured two baby goats named Martha and Snoop, who she has previously revealed lost their mother. The Aussie star appeared to be quite taken with the animals as she fed them, walked with them around the sanctuary, and cuddled up to them in her videos. It came after Ruby shared a series of troubling posts to Threads earlier last month, claiming someone was trying to kill her. One of the posts included an eyebrow-raising remark about one of Jeffrey Epstein's accusers, Virginia Giuffre. Giuffre recently took her own life after claiming she had been in a devastating car accident that was later revealed to be a minor prang. Ruby's wild posts first came in response to a thread that asked: 'Who is a celebrity that gave it all up at the height of fame to go live a 'normal' life?' 'Hi. We just leave when people try to kill us. When we are illegally debanked and [redacted]. Hope that helps,' Rose answered. 'Debanking' refers to a bank terminating a customer's accounts or restricting access to banking services due to perceived risks. This may happen for a number of reasons, including a perceived risk of money laundering, non-compliant customer activities, or a perceived reputational risk. Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting Ruby was debanked for any of these reasons. It is unclear if Ruby was actually debanked or if she was referring to someone else's plight. Rose then went on to say: 'I don't want to be labelled 'crazy' and I don't want to pretend to know how Virginia Giuffre died - but DOZENS of people including a school bus, have tried to run me off the road in the last few years.' Giuffre was one of the most outspoken accusers of convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She died by suicide at age 41 at her farm outside Perth, Australia, on Thursday, April 24. Ruby claimed: 'I have been followed almost every time I leave my home, since the day I broke my neck, back and ribs on Batwoman' - referring to her controversial exit from the TV series after she sustained injuries on-set. 'Since then I have doubled down on.... Epstein. This has resulted in some seriously wild attempts on my life. Believe it or don't. But I might as well update you.' Ruby also wrote: 'This,' beneath someone else's comment on the thread which read: 'Y'all they 'left' bc it's a horrifying industry that is NOT safe.' Fans flocked to comments beneath Ruby's Threads post, begging the star to 'stay safe and keep speaking out'. Ruby responded to one concerned fan to let them know she'd had no suicidal thoughts of any kind 'thank you for asking'. 'In fact I am moving house every few weeks, countries every few months and trying desperately to stay alive until my book is finished and released,' Ruby, who is currently writing a tell-all memoir, responded. 'If you're truly being followed and targeted, staying put is dangerous. You need to move ideally to another country, where you can be safe and off the radar,' another person told Ruby. 'Trust no one unless you're absolutely sure of them. Change your routine completely. This isn't about fear, it's about survival. Your safety comes first act now!' Ruby, who has recently been splitting her time between the US and Australia following the death of her father just before Christmas, responded: 'Already done.'
