Booker T believes WWE could go all in with R-Truth (Ron Killings) in the coming months.
On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame Podcast, NXT commentator Booker T spoke about WWE bringing back R-Truth, who is now going by the name Ron Killings. Booker predicts the company could make a big move by making him the World Heavyweight Champion.

'You know what I see? I see Ron Killings winning the World Heavyweight Championship,' Booker T said. 'How crazy would that be? You know what? It would shake up the whole world. It'll be the biggest thing since, you know, perhaps putting the title on Mick Foley, WCW, that night, you know, when everybody changed the channels to watch Mick Foley win… It could be unbelievable.' There is a mystery spot in next week's Men's King of the Ring match on RAW. While WWE could put Truth in that spot, it's probably not the most likely choice.

'How to Train Your Dragon' remake soars at the box office as family films dominate
Universal Pictures' "How To Train Your Dragon" soared over the competition this weekend, as family-friendly films continued their dominance at the box office. The live-action adaptation of the animated franchise from DreamWorks Animation grossed $83.7 million in its opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada, according to studio estimates. It beat out fellow live-action remake "Lilo & Stitch" from Walt Disney Co., which hauled in $15 million over the weekend for a cumulative total of $366 million so far after 24 days. A24's "Materialists," Paramount's "Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning" and Lionsgate's "Ballerina" rounded out the top five. Expectations were high for Universal film, which revives a profitable franchise for the studio. The original animated movie was released in 2010 and grossed nearly $495 million in global box office revenue. A sequel soon followed in 2014 and brought in more than $621 million worldwide. The most recent film in the trilogy, "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" came out in 2019 and made almost $540 million globally. "How to Train Your Dragon" comes at an opportune time for family films. After a lackluster first quarter at the box office, theater attendance has been turbocharged, at least in part by the success of kid-friendly movies such as Warner Bros. Pictures "A Minecraft Movie" and Disney's "Lilo & Stitch." Though family audiences were initially slow to return after the pandemic, movies that appeal to those theatergoers have proven to be box office juggernauts. Last summer, Disney and Pixar's "Inside Out 2" and Universal and Illumination Entertainment's "Despicable Me 4" drove theater revenues at a time when the industry was collectively wringing its hands after a slow Memorial Day weekend. This summer, "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Lilo & Stitch" are demonstrating the power of the hybrid film, which combines live actors with computer-animated creatures — a strategy that has proved valuable, said David A. Gross, who writes movie industry newsletter FranchiseRe. The trend began back in 1988 with Robert Zemeckis' "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," but has seen recent success with films like Paramount's "Sonic the Hedgehog" franchise and StudioCanal's "Paddington" movies. ‘Clueless' director Amy Heckerling looks back on the inspiration for everyone's favorite scary dad, Mel Horowitz
There are few patriarchs within the teen film genre like Mel Horowitz in 'Clueless.' The straight-talking litigator portrayed by Dan Hedaya terrifies everyone in his path – with the exception of his daughter Cher, played by Alicia Silverstone in the beloved 1995 film. He's a man of multitudes. Direct and assertive, yet attentive and loving. The heavily New York–accented Mel is an outlier to the breezy Beverly Hills setting of the movie. Although 'Clueless' is loosely based on Jane Austen's 1815 novel 'Emma,' the film's director Amy Heckerling drew on a range of influences outside of Emma's father, the charming Mr. Woodhouse. 'I suppose the main inspiration for Mel was my father – an angry accountant. He was always yelling about one thing or another,' Heckerling recently told CNN over email. 'I never seemed to figure out how to diffuse his anger, unless we were driving and I'd stick in a Benny Goodman or Mills Brothers tape.' Heckerling continued to build Mel, taking cues from detective and gangster archetypes, looking for an actor who would be normally cast in such roles – like 'Law & Order' star Jerry Orbach or Quentin Tarantino fixture Harvey Keitel. Both were approached, but prior filming commitments and a strict budget for 'Clueless' kept either from landing the role. Hedaya came into the picture via a recommendation from a friend of Heckerling. 'He looked like he could play Bob Shapiro, the famous litigator working on the O.J. trial. I was so happy we were able to get him,' she said of casting the character actor, whose other credits include 1996's 'The First Wives Club' and playing Richard Nixon in 'Dick' in 1999. In 'Clueless,' although Cher is Mel's only biological child, he opens his home to his college-aged stepson Josh, played by Paul Rudd. Mel 'treats him like a son,' according to Heckerling. Studying law, Josh spends an inordinate amount of time at the Horowitz mansion, aiding Mel in his legal cases and referring to him as 'dad,' much to Cher's chagrin. But in Mel's words, 'You divorce wives, not children.' While other characters who encounter Mel appear to find him scary, 'Cher only sees lovable daddy,' Heckerling observed. Cher possesses the ability to stay positive and calm in the face of her dad's fury, which is something Heckerling learned when dealing with her own father: 'If anger is coming at you, it doesn't mean you have to let it in.' In a touching scene toward the film's climax, Mel lists Cher's personal achievements, mentioning that her organizational skills and caring nature reminds him of Cher's dearly departed mother. Although Mel is seen as tough, he's also fair. His ability to verbalize praise sets him apart from fathers in similar features at the time, such as the overbearing Walter in '10 Things I Hate About You' (Lary Miller), rigid Harlan in 'She's All That' (Tim Matheson) and the legacy-obsessed Sam in 'Varsity Blues' (Thomas F. Duffy). Just make sure you don't sit in Mel's chair.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Sent Adam Scott Voice Memos to Complain About ‘Severance'
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are 'Severance' fans just like everybody else. They, however, have one advantage: Adam Scott's cell phone number. In Bell's Actors on Actors interview with Scott, the 'Nobody Wants This' star made public exactly what she and her 'Parenthood' husband leave in the text chain. 'The endings to every episode of 'Severance' are so biologically frustrating that I don't know how you guys expect anyone to sleep after an episode with that level of a cliffhanger,' Bell started. 'So what Dax and I tend to do is, when we see someone whose work we love or whose work frustrates us — as in your case — we leave you a nice, long, detailed, unedited voice memo. And you got a lot of those.' Scott teased, 'Just because you guys left that message, it's now going to take seven years for the next season.' Bell's favorite memo came when Shepard screamed out the message, 'Hey, Adam. Kristen just fell out of a two-story window. I bet you'd like to know how she's doing. I'll tell you next week!' Bell and Shepard are typical of the committed 'Severance' fanbase, as Scott related to The Los Angeles Times in March. 'I was a huge 'Lost' fan and huge 'Twilight Zone' person, so I totally get it,' he said. 'I don't really dive into all the theories and stuff on this, but I have seen some on Instagram, which is usually video of a podcast where they're really diving into one theory or the other. Also, all of the artwork that people are making, it's overwhelming and incredible. Whenever I see one on Instagram, I save every single one.' Bell, Shepard, and the rest of the 'Severance' heads will have to wait a while for the third season. While its production has been confirmed by executive producer Ben Stiller and Apple TV+, a date has yet to be announced.
