Caitlin Clark makes heartfelt declaration about boyfriend after relationship milestone

Caitlin Clark has revealed how "thankful" she is for
boyfriend Connor McCaffery
in a heartfelt
social media
post celebrating the couple's anniversary.
The Indiana Fever guard
has become a national superstar
since making her leap to the
WNBA
last season and it's easy to forget that she still has
her own personal life
to contend with away from all the chaos that ensues on the
basketball
court. Despite her incredibly busy schedule,
Clark
still finds time to
enjoy life with her other half
.
The 23-year-old has been dating McCaffery for a number of years now, having both met whilst
playing at the collegiate level for Iowa
. McCaffery played for his father and
former Hawkeyes head coach
, Fran McCaffery, while Clark competed under the stewardship of Lisa Bluder, although it is only the latter who continues to play.

have been frequently spotted together

games and attending other exciting events. Their love for one another was on full display on Thursday when Clark took to
Instagram
to share two photos of her and McCaffery together, seemingly marking the date of their anniversary.
"Another year with my favorite person :) I'm so thankful for you," Clark captioned her post, which was complete with two black hearts to match the black and white theme of the photos, where the couple are seen embracing one another in two different scenarios.
The post has already garnered more than 239,000 likes and drew comments from a number of famous stars, including Clark's
Fever teammate Lexie Hull
, who wrote, "Favs", accompanied by two red love hearts. Fans were also swooning over the post, with many expressing their love and support in the comments section.
"Happy birthday to my favorite parents. I love you guys," one person humorously wrote. "Literally the cutest couple," posted another, while a third person added: "Congratulations. Having that special someone is important." A fourth Instagram user commented: "I'm totally jealous of Conner!! Caitlin is one of a kind!!"
Instagram
With the WNBA season yet to get underway, it provides Clark and McCaffery with the perfect opportunity to celebrate their anniversary this weekend. Given how hectic the former's schedule is about to get, they will no doubt make the most of every minute they get to spend together over the next few weeks.
The Fever's training camp commenced last week ahead of their first regular season game on May 17,
when Clark and co. will take on the Chicago Sky
in front of their own fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Before then, however, there are pre-season fixtures against Washington (May 3), the Brazil women's national team (May 4), and Atlanta (May 10).
After that, there are 44 regular season games to contend with, and it's safe to assume that McCaffery will be attending as many of them as possible this summer to cheer on his girlfriend as she looks to lead Indiana to just a second ever WNBA championship in 2025.

Christian Louboutin's Hotel Vermelho is a bold Portuguese hideaway for design lovers

Every room is a one-of-a-kind sanctuary Above Each of Hotel Vermelho's 13 rooms boasts a distinct personality and story. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) Each of Vermelho's 13 accommodations boasts a distinct personality and story. The crown jewel, the Matinha Suite, features whimsical handpainted pastel frescoes by Greek artist Konstantin Kakanias, a longtime friend of Christian Louboutin. One mural even depicts an angel playfully flaunting knee-high boots. Throughout the property, guests discover inimitable antique furnishings, custom Portuguese azulejo tiles and artworks personally selected by the designer himself, making every stay feel utterly unrepeatable. A glittering bar crafted by artisans Above The bar is made from hammered and embossed silver leaf. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) The Vermelho Bar stands as the hotel's social epicentre, dominated by a bar front crafted from hammered and embossed silver leaf. This glittering masterpiece was created by Orfebrería Villarreal, a renowned Seville workshop that traditionally crafts religious items for churches and processional ceremonies. The space is anchored by hexagonal red floor tiles—a nod to Christian Louboutin's signature scarlet soles—creating an atmosphere that perfectly embodies the hotel's philosophy of 'la vie en rouge'. A culinary love letter to the Alentejo region Above Restaurant Xtian celebrates authentic Portuguese cuisine using seasonal ingredients sourced from Alentejo producers. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) Restaurant Xtian represents the very heart of Louboutin's vision, born from his desire for a perfect local dining spot in Melides. Under chef Emanuel Machado's direction, the kitchen celebrates authentic Portuguese cuisine using seasonal ingredients sourced directly from Alentejo producers. The commitment to local craftsmanship extends beyond the menu, with dishes served on handcrafted crockery made by artisans from Melides village itself. Vermelho's restaurant has become such a destination that it attracts diners travelling from Lisbon specifically to experience its offerings. Well-appointed spaces for renewal Above With intricate tilework, the spacious bathrooms are private retreats for renewal. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) Featuring intricate tilework and high‑quality finishes, the generously proportioned bathrooms at Hotel Vermelho transform ordinary bathing into a spa-like ritual. Rainfall showers, plush robes and slippers and premium bath products from brands like Kama Ayurveda and Anne Semonin create a private retreat for rest and renewal. Meanwhile, Vermelho's spa is built with stones once part of ancient churches, said to imbue the space with calming energy. Walls of transparently tiled alabaster sourced from Luxor—a nod to Christian Louboutin's Egyptian heritage—allow golden light to filter into treatment rooms. The spa's wellness philosophy blends Indian mindfulness techniques, particularly Ayurveda, with luxury French cosmetics, creating a holistic approach to restoration. An outdoor art gallery for a pool Above The swimming pool is adorned with baroque-style sculptures. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) The naturally heated swimming pool, nestled within lush gardens designed by French landscape architect Louis Benech, transcends typical hotel amenities. Baroque-style sculptures by Italian artist Giuseppe Ducrot transform the poolside into an enchanting open-air gallery. Guests can bask in the Alentejo sunshine surrounded by local flora while enjoying complimentary Saturday morning yoga classes. Intentionally low-tech for ultimate relaxation Above Hotel Vermelho encourages guests to disconnect from digital distractions and reconnect with the simple pleasures of contemplation. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) Hotel Vermelho deliberately champions analogue luxury. Televisions are notably absent from rooms unless specifically requested, while digital key cards have been replaced with charming leather keyrings handcrafted by Christian Louboutin's Parisian team. This approach extends throughout the property, encouraging guests to disconnect from digital distractions and reconnect with the simple pleasures of conversation, contemplation and genuine human connection. The birth of a designer coastline Above Apart from Hotel Vermelho, Christian Louboutin has plans to open more luxury boutique properties in the area. (Photo: Instagram / @hotelvermelho) Hotel Vermelho is only the beginning of Christian Louboutin's ambitious vision for the region. Along this stretch of coastline, the designer is creating a collection of retreats that reflect his signature style. Vermelho Lagoa, a 10-room property overlooking the Melides lagoon, is set to open in spring 2026, and a third hotel nestled in the nearby pine forest is reportedly in development. Together, these projects aim to establish Melides as a distinctive luxury destination shaped by Louboutin's discerning touch. Credits This article was created with the assistance of AI tools

The Lohanaissance is real: Lindsay Lohan serves 8 ultra-stylish looks for ‘Freakier Friday'

The preppy perfection with a double twist This butter-yellow Balmain tweed suit, worn on Good Morning America , was a layered homage tailor-made for fashion insiders. It nodded to Annie James—Lohan's posh London twin in The Parent Trap —with its preppy cardigan-and-skirt energy, while unmistakably echoing Cher Horowitz's iconic yellow plaid set from Clueless . Styled with yellow Christian Louboutin heels, a black Hermès bag and Jessica McCormack diamond earrings, the look bridged two beloved '90s fashion moments while establishing Lohan's current luxury credentials. 'The Devil Wears Prada' wink for fashion lovers Above Lohan blooms in a printed minidress from Oscar de la Renta. (Photo: Instagram / @lindsaylohan) This delicate cherry blossom–printed minidress from Oscar de la Renta's Pre-Fall 2025 collection featured an Easter egg that was more cerebral than visual. Lohan's Instagram caption—'Florals? For Freakier Friday? Groundbreaking. So excited for all that's blooming!'—playfully nods to Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada . Finished with lace detailing and a tumble of golden curls, the look doubled as a stylish litmus test for fashion insiders who caught the clever reference. The Carrie Bradshaw tribute for New York City For the Freakier Friday special screening in New York, Lindsay Lohan wore a custom white Jacquemus midi dress featuring a dramatically ruffled tulle skirt. The tutu moment was a nod to Carrie Bradshaw's iconic Sex and the City opening credits look, confirmed by Lohan on Instagram. The location made the reference even smarter: honouring New York's most iconic fictional fashion figure, in New York, was a move of pure sartorial savvy. The psychedelic power move in Pucci Above The actress wears Pucci's signature Marmo print. (Photo: Instagram / @lindsaylohan) Departing from direct film references, this vibrant 'Marmo' cocktail dress marked a shift into pure fashion territory. The custom Pucci piece featured the house's signature psychedelic marble print in pink, black and beige. Paired with a matching tasselled bag from Pucci's Spring 2025 collection and Aquazzura mules, it was a head-to-toe power move. The deeper message? Aligning with a heritage brand amid its revival signalled mutual recognition—and serious industry clout. The ultimate 'Freaky Friday' homage The London premiere delivered the tour's most emotionally resonant look: a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown in lavender metal mesh, dripping with Swarovski crystals. It was a couture-level reimagining of Anna Coleman's lilac outfit from Freaky Friday 's final wedding scene. The vintage Judith Leiber guitar-shaped clutch sealed the reference, nodding to Anna's band, Pink Slip. This transformation, from early-2000s teen fashion to high-concept luxury, perfectly mirrored Lohan's grown-up evolution. The princess moment with a rockstar edge For the star-studded Los Angeles premiere at El Capitan Theatre, Lohan wore a custom pale pink Miu Miu chiffon gown with crystal-embellished straps—a refined take on classic Disney Princess glamour. But the Easter egg was in the accessories: a US$4,995 Judith Leiber 'Microphone Karaoke' clutch offered a clever nod to Anna Coleman's rockstar alter ego. Paired with rose-cut diamond jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz and Veronica Lake–inspired waves, the look struck a balance between Old Hollywood elegance and pop culture flair. The diplomatic fashion moment in Rosa Mexicano The Mexico City premiere was a masterclass in sartorial diplomacy. Lindsay Lohan wore an architectural fuchsia Balmain gown from Resort 2026, complete with cascading ruffles and a commanding silhouette. While it tapped into the Barbiecore trend, fashion insiders noted a deeper layer: the specific hue matched Rosa Mexicano, a vibrant pink with cultural roots in Mexico. Styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and a sleek updo, the look signalled global style fluency. Credits This article was created with the assistance of AI tools
