LYNNWOOD, Wash. - Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies are asking for your help to identify the suspects who shot at a man's truck after he left the LA Fitness Gym on Mukilteo Speedway in Lynnwood.
What we know
The victim is Hispanic. The suspects are two white men driving an older black lowered sedan, possibly a Honda Accord-style race car with tinted windows.
It happened on May 5 after he saw four vehicles pull into the parking lot of the gym and start doing donuts. The victim says the gym's surveillance cameras were not working.
He had no interaction with them, but a black sedan followed his truck as he drove home, pulled up alongside him, and the passenger started shooting.
"When I looked to the side, they pulled the window down and they pointed a gun at me but they didn't say nothing, so I got scared and kept driving my truck to my sister's house. I called her but she didn't answer. I called the police and they picked up, and then at the light they shot at me and they broke the passenger seats and I got scared. I wondered who these people are," said the victim, who did not want to be identified for his safety.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - Two people have been arrested in connection to the case involving suspended Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez, officials say. What we know According to a criminal complaint, Lopez and at least four others – Ying Zhang, Sharon Fedrick, Sheldon Wetherholt and Carol Cote – owned or operated the million-dollar social club in Kissimmee. Marion County residents Carol Cote and Sharon Fedrick were arrested on Thursday, while officials are still looking for Ying Zhang and Sheldon Wetherholt. On Friday, both Cote and Fedrick were granted bond pending trial by a Lake County judge. Fedrick's bond was set at $300,000 per count due to prior state and federal convictions, while Cote's bond was set at $100,000 for each count. Cote was released on bond later in the day. FOX 35 has learned that she has both an 8-year-old child and 2-year-old twins. Both Cote and Fedrick are scheduled to next appear in court on June 30. What we know On Thursday, Lopez was arrested on charges of racketeering and conspiracy to commit racketeering over his alleged involvement in a major years-long illegal gambling operation, officials said. Lopez was booked into the Lake County Jail and suspended as Osceola County Sheriff by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. FHP's Christopher Blackmon was selected to replace him. According to the Florida Attorney General's Office and the criminal complaint, Lopez was allegedly part of a "massive Central Florida gambling operation" for years. Lopez – and others – face at least two charges: Racketeering Conspiracy to commit racketeering According to the complaint, Lopez was connected to, aware of or part of an illegal gambling operation that ran lotteries and slot machines. Officials say the organization generated more than $21.6 million in illicit proceeds. Following Lopez's election as Osceola County Sheriff in November 2020, investigators say he continued to advance the interests of the criminal organization and collected a portion of the illegal gambling proceeds for his involvement. Dig deeper Lopez was born in Chicago and raised in Central Florida. After obtaining an associate degree in criminal justice, Lopez joined the Osceola County Sheriff's Office in 2003 while serving in the Navy Reserve. He has served as sheriff since 2021 and became the first Hispanic sheriff in the county and the state. Lopez has three children, two of whom are University of Central Florida (UCF) graduates. Man accused of Boulder firebombing at pro-Israel event appears in court on federal hate crime charge
The suspect accused of injuring over a dozen people after throwing Molotov cocktails into a crowd of peaceful pro-Israel demonstrators last weekend appeared in federal court in Denver Friday to face a federal hate crime charge. Along with a federal hate crime charge, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, faces additional charges in Colorado, including attempted murder. Soliman allegedly crafted 18 Molotov cocktails before driving to Boulder June 1 and prepared for the peaceful pro-Israel demonstrators to arrive for the "Run For Their Lives," in support of the Israeli hostages. Soliman is accused of throwing two incendiary devices at the crowd. Soliman entered a courtroom Friday wearing a green jumpsuit and handcuffs. Boulder Suspect Spent A Year Planning Molotov Cocktail Attack On Pro-israel March: Docs While waiting for the hearing to start, Soliman silently rocked in his chair and looked around the room but away from the audience. After confirming that he had, Soliman was read his rights, and he asked for a court-appointed attorney. The court determined Soliman qualified for a court-appointed attorney. Mohamed Soliman Allegedly Planned Molotov Cocktail Attack After Gun Purchase Denial: Docs Prosecutor Melissa Hindman requested that Soliman be detained, and the defendant did not contest that request. Victims and witnesses observed Soliman throw what appeared to be a glass bottle, which burst upon impact, creating large flames, an affidavit said. He also allegedly used a commercial weed sprayer as a "makeshift blowtorch." According to the affidavit, authorities discovered multiple glass bottles containing liquid, a lighter, rags, an insecticide sprayer and an AR-style rifle BB gun in Soliman's 2015 silver Toyota Prius. Boulder Terror Attack Witness Describes 'Horrific' Scene At Pro-israel Rally Authorities also found a Quran and paperwork with the words "Israel," "Palestine" and "USAID." In his interview with law enforcement, Soliman said he had no remorse for his actions and reiterated his intent to carry them out again if given the opportunity. The affidavit noted that Soliman left behind an iPhone and a journal at his Colorado Springs home, detailing his motivations and preparations for the attack. Facing a litany of charges, including multiple counts of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and possession of incendiary devices, Soliman had initially been held on $10 million bond. If convicted, and his sentences are ordered to run consecutively, he could face a maximum of 384 years in state prison for those charges alone. Soliman was also charged with two counts of use of an incendiary device, which could add up to 48 years if served consecutively. Two men facing state charges in ongoing investigation into unsanctioned Charleston County nightclub
CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — Two men are now facing state-level alcohol, weapons, and narcotics charges in connection with an ongoing investigation into allegations of illegal activity at an unsanctioned nightclub in Charleston County. Multiple federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies carried out a targeted sting operation at the Alamo club on Highway 78 around 3 a.m. on June 1, which resulted in the arrests of 80 people, including two alleged high-level cartel members and one person wanted in an international murder investigation. Warrants provided June 6 by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) indicate that further investigation in the aftermath of what has been called 'Operation Last Stand' has resulted in additional charges against two individuals. Benjamin Reyna Flores, 59, was charged with Sale of Alcohol by an Unlicensed Person, Unlawful Storage of Alcoholic Liquors, Unlawful Sale of Liquor and Unlawful Sale of Beer. Terone Lavince Lawson, 44, was charged with Possession of Psilocybin MushroomsPossession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Crimes. The warrants state that Lawson was working as a security guard at the nightclub at the time of the raid, and that drugs and weapons were found in his vehicle. Charleston County Sheriff Carl Ritchie said during a June 2 press conference that the agency had been monitoring the unlicensed club since November 2024. Immigration advocates say Charleston County sting operation unfairly targeted Latinos and Hispanics Authorities said seven people believed to be victims of human trafficking were discovered inside the club during the raid, as well as a missing juvenile. More than 70 people who were taken into custody were believed to be in the country illegally, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The agency also claimed the club was run by a suspected member of Los Zetas, a Mexican drug cartel. But few details surrounding who exactly was swept up in the operation have raised concerns of racial profiling among some in the Hispanic and Latino communities, with immigration advocates calling for more transparency. 'Many of us are too afraid to speak up — not because we're guilty, but because we fear retaliation,' Alejandar Delaveea said in a June 6 press conference. 'Because we don't have legal status. Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time is treated like a crime — even if it's your first offense. If living life is a crime, then I guess I'm guilty… but one thing I won't be is silent.'
