‘My make-up stayed in place for 12 hours' Amazon shoppers rave over £8 setting spray that ‘works even in 34°c heat'
The budget beauty buy is at its lowest price on Amazon, so shoppers can currently pick it up for £7.99.
L'Oreal Infallible Setting Spray Mist 75ml, £7.99 (was £9.99)
BUY HERE
The L'Oreal Infallible Setting Spray Mist went viral on TikTok after users raved of its ultra-strong hold.
It has a lightweight mist consistency that doesn't leave any residue, promising transfer-proof and sweat-proof formula.
Unlike some other bestselling setting sprays (think Charlotte Tilbury and Urban Decay), L'Oreal's version is an aerosol mist, rather than a water spray.
While water-based setting mists can be good for achieving a dewy finish, aerosol sprays are typically fast-drying, and are often great for locking in make-up on oily skin types.
The £8 skincare product has racked up hundreds of five-star reviews.
One Amazon shopper wrote: "It worked really well in 34 degree heat, my friend purchased this for a recent holiday in Turkey and told me to try it.
Normally whenever I put on make-up on in heat it melts off after an hour, but this spray is truly amazing.
My make-up stayed in place all night, so I came straight home and ordered some - a make-up bag must-have."
Another added: "As a test I wore a cream coloured hoody to try it out and to my surprise I got no transfer when I pulled the hoody over my face!
Normally I get a orange collar at this point even after using other setting sprays.
I must admit by the end of the day there was a small amount of transfer, but nothing compared to other products and my collar had been rubbing against the makeup all day."
One/Size On 'Til Dawn Waterproof Setting Spray, £32
L'Oreal's Infallible Spray has been compared to the popular One/Size Waterproof Setting Spray online, and it's a fraction of the price.
Retailing for £18 for a 46ml bottle, the setting spray is also aerosol, and it works to set make-up in place and tighten the pores for a blurred, matte finish.
Setting sprays are a saviour in the hot weather, as our make-up fights against sweat and humidity.
It's one of the few products I couldn't be without for sweltering days in the office and holidays.
While I'm yet to try the L'Oreal spray for myself, the Sun Shopping team has put other summer skincare essentials to the test, including the best sun creams and the best SPFs for the face.
Several retailers have released beauty boxes in recent months dedicated to summer skincare, haircare and make-up, including Glossybox's Summer Beauty Bag, and Space NK's £80 Travel Edit worth £160.
£105 worth of products for £30, including Sol de Janeiro and La Roche-Posay.
The beauty box caused mass sell-outs on the website, so is unlikely to be restocked.
L'Oreal Infallible Setting Spray Mist may be worth considering.

Cocaine shame of the school-gate mums: I thought I was unshockable says ANNA MELTON... then I watched them pull out their 'treats' in the most immoral place imaginable
My five-year-old son Jack* had only been at primary school for a few weeks when we were invited to a birthday party for one of his classmates. Though I barely knew the birthday boy's mum – a glamorous fashion buyer who I'll call Cleo – she was warm and welcoming when we arrived at their beautiful double-fronted property in south London, spread out over four floors.

Vogue Williams reveals she's quit alcohol after teetotal husband Spencer Matthews told her to 'lay off' - months after boozy blackout at star-studded wedding
Vogue Williams has revealed she's quit alcohol after her husband Spencer Matthews suggested she 'lay off the booze' following bouts of binge drinking. The TV presenter, 39, shares three children with the former Made in Chelsea star, who recently stopped his occasional drinking to return to total sobriety. Vogue has previously described herself as a 'binge drinker' because 'I don't really like the taste of alcohol, so if you see me drinking alcohol, I'm drinking it for one reason... to get drunk.' Now, Vogue has revealed that she decided to take a three-month break from booze after Spencer, 37, suggested she should. 'Spencer was drinking, like, little bits and bobs... and then he went tee-total again,' Vogue explained. 'And as soon as he decided he wasn't drinking again, he turned around to me and he was like, "Would you not consider it now - with your drinking?"' Speaking this week on her podcast, Never Live It Down, Vogue elaborated: 'When I say I drink f*** all - like, I rarely drink. I don't even like the taste of it and he's telling me that I need to lay off the booze. I was like, Spenny, I barely drink - it's only because you're not drinking.' However, the Irish star, who married former party boy Spencer in 2018, has ultimately opted for a three-month break from alcohol - admitting that her friends were less than enthusiastic. 'I'm taking like three months off booze and there was no support at all. I told all my friends - they're like, "Urgh, don't tell us! At least don't tell us". 'I just kind of feel like it. I don't want to be hungover. Three seems like a good number and I'm always saying I'm not going to [drink]. 'I think nothing good happens after midnight… all those nights you stayed up talking s***? Such a waste of time.' The decision comes just three months after Vogue made headlines for admitting she got so drunk at YouTuber Jack Maynard's lavish French wedding to £440 million heiress Lily Mackie that she blacked out. Attending the May nuptials at the five-star Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence with Spencer and their two eldest children, Theo, five, and Gigi, three, Vogue confessed she 'didn't remember getting into the hotel room' after an enthusiastic session at the reception's margarita bar. 'It was the nicest wedding I've ever seen in my entire life,' she said at the time. 'I got excited because there was a margarita bar… and the next day, I woke up and I remembered the last bit of the night but I definitely didn't remember getting into the hotel room.' The couple's youngest child, Otto, two, stayed at home for the trip, while the Matthews family joined a guest list that included influencers Caspar Lee and Josh Pieters, singer Conor Maynard and his siblings, as well as members of the Middleton family. Jack's wife Lily is the niece of Pippa Middleton's husband, James Matthews, Spencer's older brother. While Vogue laughed off her overindulgence at the time, waking up next to her sober husband sparked a pang of embarrassment. 'I was looking at Spen and I was like [makes despairing noise] - you know when you're quite nervous,' she recalled. 'And as I went up to the wedding party, lots of people went, "How's the head?" and I was like, oh no…' The model-turned-broadcaster has often contrasted her casual drinking habits with Spencer's more public journey to sobriety. Once known for his wild partying on Made in Chelsea, Spencer quit drinking in 2018 after admitting alcohol had become a 'problem' in his life. He went on to launch CleanCo, a low- and no-alcohol drinks brand, and has frequently spoken about the benefits of staying sober. Although Spencer has previously admitted he has the occasional drink, Vogue says his return to full abstinence came with a push for her to follow suit - which she has now agreed to do.

Once you register, you should see the offer to claim the free cake of your choice in store. Why are products axed or recipes changed? ANALYSIS by chief consumer reporter James Flanders. Food and drinks makers have been known to tweak their recipes or axe items altogether. They often say that this is down to the changing tastes of customers. There are several reasons why this could be done. For example, government regulation, like the "sugar tax," forces firms to change their recipes. Some manufacturers might choose to tweak ingredients to cut costs. They may opt for a cheaper alternative, especially when costs are rising to keep prices stable. For example, Tango Cherry disappeared from shelves in 2018. It has recently returned after six years away but as a sugar-free version. Fanta removed sweetener from its sugar-free alternative earlier this year. Suntory tweaked the flavour of its flagship Lucozade Original and Orange energy drinks. While the amount of sugar in every bottle remains unchanged, the supplier swapped out the sweetener aspartame for sucralose.
