Increased operating costs and reduced sales volumes triggered the decline. While the company anticipates better growth in FY26, peers have reported stronger results and promising outlooks, further impacting investor sentiment. MUMBAI: Neuland Laboratories, one of the Dalal Street favourites in the recent bull run, tumbled almost 7% on Friday, extending losses to the third straight session, as the company's strong guidance failed to douse investor concerns over the 59% drop in its profit after tax in the fourth quarter.
ADVERTISEMENT 'The increase in operating costs and reduced sales volumes led to Neuland shares falling today,' said Prathamesh Masdekar, research analyst, Stoxbox. ' The concern about operating costs has been ongoing since the last two quarters.' Masdekar said that while the company guided for better growth in FY26, the company's peers have reported better results and promising guidance as well.The stock, which slumped as much as 11% during the session, closed at Rs 11,040. Last week, Neuland shares fell nearly 13%.

Reddy highlighted the project's importance in easing congestion and promoting sustainable development. HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy has requested that the Union minister for Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar , grant the necessary permissions for the proposed Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 project as soon as possible. Revnath met Manohar Lal Khattar at his residence in New Delhi on Thursday and briefed him on the importance of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2 project. This project involves a 76.4 km extension to the metro network in order to meet the growing demand for public transport in the fast-developing Hyderabad. The CM emphasised that Phase-2 of the metro project would facilitate hassle-free commuting by reducing congestion on the roads, and would also contribute significantly to sustainable development once completed. He also informed the Union minister that the state govt is ready to undertake the Rs 24,269 crore project as a joint venture with the central govt. The CM said that the detailed project report had already been submitted with the necessary amendments in line with suggestions from the union urban development minister, and requested that the necessary permissions be granted by the relevant departments.

ITD Cementation share price target According to Trendlyne, the average target price for ITD Cementation stands at Rs 679, indicating a potential downside of nearly 16% from current levels. Of the three analysts tracking the stock, the consensus rating is 'Buy'. The stock closed 1.3% higher at Rs 810.70 on the BSE on Thursday.
