Automechanika Riyadh 2025 officially sold out with record international participation confirmed
The 7th edition of the event will also feature 39 Saudi exhibitors, including several first-time and returning participants
Five halls will be utilised to facilitate the increased demand, representing a 70% year-on-year increase in available space at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC)
Riyadh, KSA: Automechanika Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's leading regional trade show for the automotive aftermarket industry, has officially sold out six weeks before the event, with the seventh edition returning to the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) from 28-30 April, with a surge of exhibitors from around the world.
This year, companies from over 34 countries have already confirmed, up from 26 last year, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, France, Kazakhstan, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Vietnam, and Peru. In addition, there will be seven country pavilions with companies from Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Turkey on show, as well as two new dedicated areas for Italian and Indian exhibitors.
Saudi Arabia will also continue to have a strong presence with 39 automotive aftermarket companies, nearly 10% of all exhibitors, underscoring the market growth within the country as several new and returning exhibitors commit to the show.
New to the exhibition this year are Al-Kadi Commerce & Industry, a market leader in mobility solutions; Juffali Automotive Company, industry experts across mobility, technology, engineering and services; Kayan, the car paints and equipment supplier; Sampa, the leading global manufacturer of commercial vehicle parts, A.H Al Sayyed & Sons Trading Company, the leading provider of premium auto parts and maintenance services in Saudi Arabia; and Neweast, a leading importer of automotive spare parts.
Returning exhibitors from the Kingdom include DJ Auto, Thunder Trading, O2Proformance, Taajeer, and BMT Banaeem.

Airlines suspend flights after Israel strikes Iran
Below are some of the airlines that have cancelled their flights to and from the region: AEGEAN AIRLINES Greece's Aegean Airlines has cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv up to and including the early morning flight on July 12, as well as all flights to and from Beirut, Amman, and Erbil through the morning arrivals of June 28. AIRBALTIC Latvia's airBaltic said all flights to and from Tel Aviv until June 23 had been cancelled. AEROFLOT Russia's Aeroflot said it had cancelled flights between Moscow and Tehran, and made changes to other routes in the Middle East after Israeli strikes on Iran. AIR FRANCE-KLM Air France said it had suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice. KLM has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until at least July 1, Dutch news agency ANP reported. AIR INDIA Air India said multiple flights were either being diverted or returning to their origin. AJET Turkish Airlines subsidiary AJet has cancelled flights to Iran, Iraq and Jordan until Monday morning, an AJet source said. The source said that AJet would operate flights to Lebanon only during daylight hours. It plans to operate flights to elsewhere in the Middle East including flying over Iraq without using the affected airspace, the source added. ARKIA The Israeli airline said that due to the closure of Israeli airspace, it was cancelling all its flights until June 14. Gold prices hit a near two-month high on Friday
Gold prices climbed on Friday to their highest levels in nearly two months, and were on track for a weekly gain. Spot gold was up 1.2 per cent at $3,423.30 an ounce, as of 0544 GMT, after hitting its highest since April 22 earlier in the session. Bullion has gained more than 3.4 per cent so far this week. US gold futures gained 1.2 per cent to $3,444.50. 'Gold surged past resistance around $3,400 on news of the airstrikes, and further upside could be in-store should the escalation continue,' Waterer said. Signaling a cooling US labour market and subdued inflation pressures, new applications for unemployment benefits held at an eight-month high last week, while slowing domestic demand helped restrain producer prices in May. The data, released a day after the labour Department reported a moderate rise in consumer prices in May, bolstered expectations of an earlier rate cut. Traders are now expecting a Federal Reserve interest rate cut of 55 basis points by the year-end, starting in September rather than October as previously anticipated. Elsewhere, spot silver fell 0.3 per cent at $36.25 per ounce, platinum lost 1 per cent at $1,282.55 and palladium shed 0.5 per cent to $1,050.61. All three metals were set for weekly gains. Meanwhile Indian gold futures rose above the psychologically important Rs100,000 ($1,161.02) per 10 grams mark for the first time ever on Friday morning, on a weak rupee and tracking gains in overseas markets, dealer said.
