Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan's Marital ‘Issues' Run ‘Much Deeper' Than Her Catfishing Scandal

Yahoo23-05-2025
Tommy Lee and estranged wife Brittany Furlan split amid her confession to being a victim of catfishing. A source exclusively tells Life & Style that the duo's marriage had much "deeper" issues prior to the online affair scandal involving a Ronnie Radke imposter.
"Tommy and Brittany are going through it. Their marriage wasn't perfect before, but it did come to a head with her catfishing drama," the insider reveals. "Tommy felt betrayed and just lost it and now they're separated."
"They were already having issues. It's clear there were some secrets and deception before," the source continues.
"This whole thing is embarrassing for Brittany, and Tommy says he just needs time to figure things out. Bottom line, their issues were much deeper than Brittany chatting with a wannabe Ronnie Radke. Hopefully they'll work things out," the insider says.
The former Vine star, 38, confirmed in a TikTok video on May 17 that the pair were no longer living together. Brittany revealed that she was involved in an online affair that turned into a catfishing scandal involving someone pretending to be Falling in Reverse lead singer Ronnie, 41.
'Obviously, I'm in a hotel right now. I've been going through a really tough time in my marriage, which was none of anyone's f--king business, but he's made it everyone's business,' Brittany said at the start of the seven-minute video while referring to Ronnie.
"Basically, I told my husband everything,' Brittany said to viewers about Tommy, 62. "I said, you know, 'I've been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat — he says it's not him, cool, whatever — 'cause I'm a good person. I mean, I'm not a good person for talking to someone while married. I've been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse, whatever."
"There's no excuse, but I came clean. I'm a good person," she added about revealing the catfishing to Tommy.
Ronnie shared a TikTok and Instagram video on May 12, where he called out "gullible people." He shared his correct social media accounts along with ones that weren't him, adding how he's "never had a Snapchat."
"Y'all can't be so damn dumb please," Ronnie wrote in the caption while discussing how many women had been catfished into believing they were talking to him online.
He didn't name Brittany at the time, but she revealed that the person who she believed was Ronnie had been in contact via Snapchat.
Ronnie claimed Tommy had threatened him after believing it was him that Brittany was corresponding with. He said he went public about the Pennsylvania native catfishing claims after the musician had been hounding him.
'The only reason why I made it public is because your husband won't stop yelling at me,' Ronnie told viewers in an Instagram video on May 18. 'Imagine you grow up looking up to someone like Tommy Lee and then all of a sudden out of nowhere he's like, 'You're f--king my wife!' And I'm like, 'What?! I have no idea what you're talking about!' Both of you came into my life for no reason."
The Mötley Crüe drummer hinted about the scandal on May 16, sharing an Instagram post that simply asked, "Who's been catfished?"
Tommy also seemingly intimated at issues with Brittany in an Instagram video on May 15. He was seen in a recording studio listening to a music track he recorded.
"Ironically, I've been working on this song called 'Stupid Girl.' Wow," he cryptically told viewers, shaking his head seemingly in disbelief.
"Everything has its place and time and this one hits it right on the head Stupid girl!" he wrote in the caption.
Fans quickly picked up on how the post might be about Brittany, with at least one person noticing that Tommy had unfollowed his wife on Instagram.
Additionally, the "Girls, Girls, Girls" musician shared several reflective Instagram Reels on Monday, May 19, following Brittany's public catfishing confession.
In one, Indian guru Sadhguru explained, "If you love somebody, you should have no opinion – that's what love means. Love means you are willing to nurture another life, without forming opinions – that's what love means. We have loved ones, we have strong opinions each other – no, that means you are trying to fix life."
A second Reel said, "You can offer all the light and love in the world, but if someone hasn't ventured into their own shadows, they will only be able to meet you on the surface."
Tommy then shared an Instagram Story that read, "Due to personal reasons, I'll be turning things up a f--king notch," although he hasn't yet revealed what that entails.
Brittany is Tommy's fourth wife. He was previously married to Elaine Starchuk from 1984 to 1985. Tommy wed Heather Locklear in 1986, divorcing in 1993. His third marriage was to Pamela Anderson, which lasted from 1995 through 1998.
Tommy and Brittany started dating in 2017 despite a 24-year age difference. They got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2018. The duo married on year later on February 14, 2019.

Grandma, 87, Says 'Life Is Too Short to Play It Safe,' So She and Granddaughter Get Matching Tattoos (Exclusive)

Abby Griffin described getting inked as an "incredibly special multi-generational experience"NEED TO KNOW Abby Griffin shared a viral video on TikTok of her getting matching hummingbird tattoos with her grandma Elaine Jaecks "As she's gotten older, I started feeling like this would be a beautiful way to commemorate her," she tells PEOPLE exclusively The video of the "special moment" has gained over 1.3 million views on the platformA woman went viral on TikTok for getting matching tattoos with her grandma. Abby Griffin, owner of Wren and Rose Photography, shared a video on TikTok of her getting matching hummingbird tattoos with her grandma Elaine Jaecks. The video of the "special moment" has gained over 1.3 million views on the platform. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE about their shared ink, the granddaughter, 31, says they've "joked about it for years." "She's always had this fun, bold and spunky streak that keeps everyone on their toes," Griffin says of her 87-year-old grandma. "As she's gotten older, I started feeling like this would be a beautiful way to commemorate her, her fire, her boldness and her commitment to always being unapologetically herself." The pair planned the outing a few weeks in advance and "made a whole day of it," even bringing along Griffin's aunt to also get the matching tattoo. The video shows Jaecks getting tattooed at Silver Lining Tattoo in Geneva, Ill. While getting inked, Jaecks flashes the camera a thumbs-up. She is then shown checking out her new arm tattoo in a mirror with a pleased expression on her face. "This is your sign to get a matching tattoo with your grandma," the text on the video reads. In the caption, Griffin sweetly wrote, "I have the coolest grandma in the world. Such a special moment getting to get a matching tattoo with her. She's my heart & soul." On the big day, Griffin recalls her and her grandma feeling "a little nervous at first." However, those feelings were outweighed by their excitement and sentimental emotions. "My sister couldn't be there that day, but she's planning to get the same hummingbird soon so she can be part of it too. What started as a simple idea turned into this incredibly special multi-generational experience, something we'll all remember forever," she says. "There was such a beautiful energy in the room, lots of giggles and having fun, but there were also these sweet quiet moments where we all kind of sat in the weight of how special it was," the granddaughter adds. Their tattoo artist, Pedro, brought the experience to the next level. "He was so kind, patient and genuinely invested in making it a memorable experience for all of us, especially for my grandma," Griffin shares, adding that the two exchanged stories about their lives at one point. "He told us my grandma was the oldest client he's ever tattooed, and you could tell it really meant something to him. He treated her with such care and respect," she added. As for their choice of tattoo, Griffin says, "My grandma has always loved gardening and being outside; she lights up when she sees hummingbirds zipping around her backyard. But beyond just being her favorite, the hummingbird felt symbolic for her." She adds that, like her grandma, the birds are "known for their boldness, resilience and fierce independence." The hummingbird tattoo was Jaecks' second tattoo, according to her granddaughter, who says she was "an absolute rock star" during the process. "She didn't even flinch and afterward just shrugged and said, 'That wasn't bad at all!' " The two, Griffin says, have always had a special bond. "She helped raise me, and I truly feel like so much of who I am is because of her," she shares. "She's spunky, strong, wildly supportive, a total badass woman who's never been afraid to speak her mind or live life on her own terms." The Chicago-based photographer adds that her grandma's "whole outlook is about living boldly and staying true to who you are." "She's never tried to be anyone but herself, and she encourages everyone around her to do the same. To her, life is too short to play it safe or follow the crowd, you've got to do the things that light you up, whether that's gardening, going on an adventure, or getting a tattoo at 87," she says. John Leguizamo slams Dean Cain for joining ICE: ‘Your pronouns are has/been'

John Leguizamo had some choice words for Dean Cain after the actor revealed he joined US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to 'help save America.' On Tuesday, Cain — who played Clark Kent on ABC's 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' alongside Teri Hatcher's Lois Lane from 1993 to 1997 — revealed that he's rolling up his sleeves to support President Trump's mass deportation efforts. The announcement was soon met with a fierce response from the 'Ice Age' star, who hit out at the actor in a social media post Friday. Leguizamo, an ardent Trump critic, said in an Instagram video. 'What a moron. Dean Cain, your pronouns are has/been.' On Sunday, the Emmy and Tony winner further doubled down on his stance by posting a fake DVD case with Cain's photo on it with the title, 'AGED ICE.' Advertisement 'More like 'Dean needs a cane' amiright?' he captioned his Instagram Story. Cain, 59, last week shared the news in a recruitment-style video on social media while urging others to join him in booting illegal migrants from the country. 'For those who don't know, I am a sworn law enforcement officer, as well as being a filmmaker, and I felt it was important to join with our first responders to help secure the safety of all Americans, not just talk about it, so I joined up,' Cain said in a nearly two-minute video on X. 'I like that. I voted for that. They need your help, we need your help, to protect our homeland and our families. So check into it and join today if it's something that tickles your fancy because we can use you.' Cain's video was met with resistance almost immediately, with some commenters noting that the actor is 22 years over the federal agency's maximum recruitment age of 37, casting doubt on the legitimacy of his latest public reveal. 'Perhaps we'll get that changed…' Cain said in response, shortly before Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin revealed that the agency has waived the age limit to allow for new applicants. 5 Cain played Clark Kent on ABC's 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' alongside Teri Hatcher's Lois Lane from 1993 to 1997. Lakers' LeBron James reveals new off-court ‘addiction'

The post Lakers' LeBron James reveals new off-court 'addiction' appeared first on ClutchPoints. Seems that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is still his enjoying his summer adventures with golf. James finished the 22nd season of his legendary NBA career this past spring. He continues to shine as one of the best players in the league, cementing his legacy as one of the best to ever play the sport. Summers usually feature James emphasizing the importance of conditioning, which helps assure him that he can remain active for many seasons. This one was different as he underwent surgery to repair his MCL, which he injured during the Lakers' first-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. While he took the time he needed to heal from it, he has been more relaxed as he partook in golf to spend his days in the offseason. That much was the case after he posted a video on his Instagram page that shows how much investment he is putting into the sport. 'Addicted. Yep, I know. I'm sorry,' James said. What lies ahead for LeBron James, Lakers It was a humorous video for LeBron James to post, continuing to have fun in the summer before he reports to the Lakers for training camp in the fall. James is coming off another All-NBA campaign last season. He averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and one steal per game after 70 appearances. He shot 51.3% from the field, including 37.6% from beyond the arc, and 78.2% from the free-throw line. His historic efforts at age 40 earned him a spot on the All-NBA second team, an All-Star selection, and a sixth-place finish in MVP voting. James still has what it takes to be a star for the Lakers, who retooled the roster surrounding him and Luka Doncic this summer. They added Jake LaRavia, Deandre Ayton, Marcus Smart in free agency on top of signing multiple two-way deals with younger talents. Title contention is certainly within the Lakers' reach, especially with James and Doncic headlining the squad. Challenges will certainly come their way when they progress through the 2025-26 season, but they have the talent to make noise in the Western Conference.
