It was John Cena who successfully made Randy Orton quit after a battle for the ages.
7. Bragging Rights (2009) – Randy Orton
The kind of wrestlers that John Cena and Randy Orton were, a normal battle never really sufficed. If John Cena's win at Breaking Point saw him define brutality then the following Iron Man match against Randy Orton was a notch higher in terms of the haymakers exchanged. At the end of it all, John Cena won the Iron Man match by 6-5 after 60 minutes of relentless war.
8. Elimination Chamber (2010) - Triple H, Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Kofi Kingston

Vince McMahon made Cena contest against Batista straight away and the Animal clinched the title in three minutes.
9. WrestleMania 26 (2010) – Batista
After being divested of the title wrongfully, Cena came in quest of his vengeance. When Batista stood in front of him, the two went on an all-out war which was eventually won by Cena after he locked in an STF on Batista. He also beat Batista in a 'Last Man Standing' and 'I Quit' match to solidify his reign which went on for 84 days.
10. Extreme Rules (2011) – The Miz and John Morrison
Things got bumpy for John Cena when he took a fall against The Nexus and The Miz prior to and at WrestleMania. However, he was soon back on his toes, gunning down The Hollywood A-Lister, The Miz and John Morrison in a steel cage match at the Extreme Rules to win the championship back.
11. WWE Raw (2011) – Rey Mysterio
John Cena lost to CM Punk at Money in the Bank, but with The Straightedge Savior vacating the title, a tournament was hosted to refill the champion slot. Rey Mysterio won the title but later that same night, he took on the Master of 619 and defeated him to claim the belt for the 11th time.
12. Night of Champions (2011) – Alberto del Rio
John Cena had an incredible run with Alberto del Rio. The two actually bared out their arsenal and dropped one good promo after the other in a build-up to the Night of Champions. Eventually, after exchanging some hard-hitting moments, John Cena won the title from Del Rio at Night of Champions.
13. WrestleMania 29 (2013) – The Rock
This was a follow-up battle that saw John Cena put together pieces of exceptional microphone work. Pitted against the best with the mic in his hand, Cena and The Rock went toe-to-toe for two back-to-back WrestleManias. Cena finally avenged his defeat at WM 28 with a fine win against the most electrifying wrestler of all time.
14. Hell in a Cell (2013) – Alberto del Rio
Alberto del Rio had a fine run with the title and savoured a run of dominion for a while. However, much to his surprise, John Cena came back prematurely from his triceps injury and challenged Del Rio to a battle at Hell in a Cell. The two fought a well-orchestrated battle, and eventually, it was John Cena who emerged victorious.
15. Money in the Bank (2014) – Sheamus, Kane, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Alberto del Rio, Cesaro, and Bray Wyatt
After Daniel Bryan had to vacate the WWE title due to an injury, John Cena turned up and challenged for the belt in the Money in the Bank, where he was up against seven other superstars. Eventually, at the end of it all, John Cena put Randy Orton and Kane stacked up against each other before climbing the ladder and claiming the title once and for all.
16. Royal Rumble (2017) – AJ Styles
This came after three years of Cena going without the title. He was locked in a phenomenal battle with AJ Styles, and the two bared their souls to the limits. Finally, John Cena leveled Ric Flair's record with an Attitude Adjustment to the Phenomenal One while finishing his title drought for three years.
17. WrestleMania 41 (2025) – Cody Rhodes
The last run with the championship came at the expense of the American Nightmare. Even though fans weren't particularly happy with what went down, the two superstars pushed each other to the fringes and kept on going at each other's throats until John Cena took the distraction created by Travis Scott and put Cody Rhodes to bed.
Whether as a heel or as a face, John Cena has always stood tall, delivering one incredible match after another. He has continued to fight till his last breath and as he rolls for his farewell tour, the promise of turning up at every single PLE simply makes him the icon that he is.

Edmonton Oilers Jake Walman's random act of kindness wins hearts ahead of Stanley Cup final
Photo byWhat started as a routine trip to pick up essentials quickly became a memory the Stephens family will never forget. While running errands with their three kids, the Stephens family happened upon an unexpected surprise in the trading card aisle—Edmonton Oilers defenseman Jake Walman, casually browsing like any other shopper. The chance encounter turned magical as Walman not only chatted with the kids about hockey and video games but surprised them with gifts—transforming a regular Friday into something straight out of a feel-good sports movie. Edmonton Oilers defenseman Jake Walman buys trading cards for young fans in Sherwood Park Adam and Angela Stephens, along with their three children—Luke (9), Jake (7), and Emma (5)—were simply out shopping when their boys convinced them to swing by the trading card section. That's where they met Walman, who was browsing through cards himself. 'I was just kind of wandering around the store,' Adam told 'And there is Jake Walman picking up a tin of cards. He was just waiting and he started up a conversation, just being a nice guy.' Walman, a known Pokémon fan, noticed the kids looking through the hockey cards and asked if they were Oilers supporters. When they answered yes and shared their favorite players—Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl—Walman playfully asked if they had heard of Jake Walman. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo 'My son said, 'My dad loves him, he was so happy when they traded for him,'' Adam recalled. For young Emma, who isn't into trading cards, he picked out a Minecraft stuffed toy instead. 'I like doing that stuff,' Walman later said.
