Why ‘Royal Family' is trending after Prince Harry's interview after the legal battle

03:07 Whether one likes it or not – a royal family feud never goes out of the trend! The past few days have borne testament to that same old truth. As it's been (in)famously claimed, the relationship between the Royals and the media has always been a two-way street. The late People's Princess Diana, who was certainly a target of media scrutiny and exploitation, also allegedly and frequently used the media to her own advantage, particularly after her divorce. She recognized the power of media and sought to control its narrative, sometimes to her own benefit. The discussion over how much of the responsibility the media had in her story – in life and beyond so – has been part of her legacy now. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Jesus' Tomb Is Opened And Scientists Find Something Unbelievable Car Novels Undo Prince Harry, who quite boisterously is his 'mother's son', seems to be on the same path. Although the 'Spare' Prince of the royal family lost the legal battles a few days back, he hasn't withdrawn without making some noteworthy ripples post defeat. What happened? Prince Harry recently lost a legal challenge over the levels of security he and his family are entitled to while in the UK. The Duke of Sussex had been seeking to overturn a decision that had downgraded his security after he stopped being a working royal and moved to the US with the Duchess of Sussex. After the legal loss, the second son of the British royal family appeared for an interview with the BBC after losing his latest legal challenge against the government over his security - a decision which he says has left him vulnerable to threats on his life. From prospects of him returning to the UK with his kids to his relationship with his family and an ailing father, King Charles – the Duke of Sussex, as it seemed, bared his heart out in that explosive 'tell-all' interview. The keynotes: Prince Harry, along with his wife, Meghan Markle , stepped down as senior royals in January 2020 (Re: 'Megxit'), and relocated to Montecito, California. His relationship with the royal family has been strained ever since, and he confirmed in the interview that King Charles wasn't speaking to him because of the court battle. However, Harry had an emotional plea as well, where he pondered over the idea of 'reconciliation', and said, "I don't know how much longer my father has - he won't speak to me because of this security stuff but it would be nice to reconcile." He added, 'There's no point continuing to fight anymore, life is precious.' At the same breath, Harry mentioned, "Some members of my family will never forgive me" for writing his memoir Spare, and went on to say, "It would be nice to have that reconciliation part now. If they don't want that, that's entirely up to them," which adds fire the flame of the already ongoing rumor that Prince William might be considering stripping Prince Harry and Meghan of their HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) titles when he ascends the throne. Prince Harry also pointed out how the 'lack of security' affected him, saying, 'I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point,' adding a solemn lament, 'I love my country, I always have done… I miss the UK, I miss parts of the UK, of course I do - and I think that it's really quite sad that I won't be able to show my children my homeland." What did the palace say? Prince Harry did not hold much back in his latest BBC interview and went on to claim that some people involved 'want history to repeat itself.' He even reiterated his belief that the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures committee, known as Ravec, downgraded his security overnight in 2020, without due process, under the influence of members of the Royal Household. Although he refused to name names, he added, 'I know all the names of the people who were involved in this process.' Now, after Harry's shocking claims on camera, Buckingham Palace, in a surprising move, issued a statement, via a spokesperson, who said, 'All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.' But Prince Harry didn't stop there. Citing national security, he even called on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper to investigate Ravec and potentially make changes to how the committee operates. While he didn't call for any specific action, Prince Harry suggested that they look into why the Royal Household even has representatives on the committee to begin with. The 'resounding' aftermath: Once all this chatter was done with, the loudest reaction came from the expected place – from Meghan Markle. Just one day after the legal loss over reinstating their security, the Duchess of Sussex posted a photo on Instagram of Harry, with their son Prince Archie, 5, and their daughter Princess Lilibet, 3, in what seemed to be a statement of solidarity. The captionless black-and-white image showed Prince Harry with his back toward the camera as he walked hand-in-hand with Archie, while Lilibet is sitting on his shoulders in what appeared to be the garden of the family's Montecito home. Although the second son of the royal family has held nothing back while issuing a subtle warning, saying, 'if anything was to happen to me, my wife, or my father's grandchildren. If anything was to happen to them, look where the responsibility lies," the 'Suits' alum has not yet commented on any of the events. However, her post on social media has spoken volumes, feeding into the current internet frenzy. Buckingham Palace Breaks Silence After Prince Harry's Explosive Interview

Skip the doctor: Kangana Ranaut's natural summer cold remedy is a game-changer

Blasting the air conditioner during sweltering summer afternoons might feel like the only way to survive the heat, but constant transitions between cool, controlled indoor air and outdoor warmth often end up triggering a troublesome cold. #Pahalgam Terrorist Attack India strikes hard! New Delhi bans all imports from Pakistan How Pakistan is preparing for the worst as India weighs response If India attacks Pakistan, China & B'desh should seize 7 NE states, says Yunus' aide This cycle of sudden temperature shifts can easily lead to sniffles and congestion that linger for days. However, actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut recently shared a natural remedy that she believes helps stop a cold before it takes hold. During a candid chat with Mamaraazzi, the Fashion star opened up about a traditional drink she personally relies on to ward off early symptoms of a cold. Her go-to recipe involves combining Indian gooseberry (amla), turmeric (haldi), fresh ginger, and a pinch of black pepper in water. The mixture is then brought to a gentle boil. Once strained, it's ready to be sipped. 'If you feel like a cold is on its way, this preparation can completely stop it in its tracks,' Kangana remarked confidently. Here's Why... Car Novels Undo Speaking to The Indian Express, holistic health practitioner Anadi Sharma backed her claims by highlighting the immunity-boosting qualities of this blend. According to Sharma, amla is loaded with vitamin C, a key nutrient for strengthening the body's natural defense system. Turmeric, known for its healing properties, fights internal inflammation. He explained that black pepper enhances the body's ability to absorb curcumin—the active compound in turmeric—and also helps relieve nasal congestion while supporting gut health and digestion. Sharma also noted that adding a pinch of salt to the mixture helps maintain the body's electrolyte levels, especially important during summer. Beyond its illness-fighting potential, he said this tonic gently detoxifies the body, promotes internal cooling, and even contributes to clearer skin and stronger hair over consistent use. Supporting these views, Dr. Prashant Saxena, senior director and Head of Pulmonology at Fortis Hospital in Delhi, told Indian Express that the ingredients used in Kangana's blend are rooted in ancient Indian healing practices and are now drawing scientific interest. In his view, inflammation is a major contributor to colds, and both turmeric and black pepper possess properties that help minimize such inflammation, especially in the respiratory system. He emphasized that these herbs are rich in antioxidants, which fight oxidative damage and support overall immunity. Wondering how to make this remedy a part of your routine? Sharma recommends consuming the drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach or mid-morning when you're not too full. For added taste and benefit, you can include a few holy basil (tulsi) leaves while boiling or stir in some honey once the liquid cools down a bit. Preparing a batch for a couple of days and storing it in the refrigerator is convenient—just reheat gently when needed. However, he advises against consuming it directly before or after tea, coffee, or milk. Wait at least half an hour to ensure optimal absorption. Ideally, this drink can be taken three to four times a week, but if it suits your system, it can easily become part of your daily wellness routine.

Even though things got bumpy for John Cena at WrestleMania 41 with fans slamming him for a mediocre display to win the 17th title, the numbers speak for themselves. In terms of physicality, the kind of punishment that both Cody Rhodes and Cena have taken over the years has uplifted the expectations of the fans. Despite the consequences, however, John Cena eventually did defeat Cody Rhodes with a bit of a distraction from Travis Scott. With his 17th title in the pocket, he now stands head and shoulders above every other WWE titan. However, the journey to the pedestal of being an unparalleled legend hasn't been easy. Here's a quick glance at all 17 of his opponents who actually made life a living nightmare for Cena in the ring and yet the leader of Cenation stood tall, defying all the odds. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Never Put Eggs In The Refrigerator. Here's Why... Car Novels Undo 1. WrestleMania 21 (2005) – JBL It was an intense battle between two superstars who made the audience swing to their tunes. John Bradshaw Layfield, better known as JBL, matched Cena ounce for ounce and inflicted some serious physical punishment on the big man. Eventually, John Cena managed to duck while JBL attempted a clothesline to hit the AA on the current WWE broadcaster. 2. Royal Rumble (2006) – Edge A fight that spanned all corners of the ring and beyond, Edge and John Cena took physical confrontation to a different level. From getting in those nasty body scissors to mocking John Cena with his own gesture, the Rated-R superstar cooked up a full-blown rivalry to savour. Eventually, using Lita as a distraction, John Cena managed to lock Edge in the STF to force him to tap out. 3. Unforgiven (2006) – Edge After losing the battle to RVD at One Night Stand due to Edge's interference, John Cena chose to avenge his defeat. He took on Edge in a brutal TLC contest and that too in the latter's backyard in Toronto and vanquished him in the clash. Edge showcased his own physical resilience to try to silence Cena once and for all. 4. Survivor Series (2008) – Chris Jericho Jericho possibly gave the blazes to Cena as he brutalized him with every succeeding minute. Blow after blow, Jericho rained some serious haymakers on John Cena, and the leader of Cenation took it all in. WrestleMania 25 (2009) – Edge and Big Show It was a triple-threat battle at the Show of all Shows and John Cena emerged triumphant against two of the biggest stars of all time. It was John Cena who successfully made Randy Orton quit after a battle for the ages. 7. Bragging Rights (2009) – Randy Orton The kind of wrestlers that John Cena and Randy Orton were, a normal battle never really sufficed. If John Cena's win at Breaking Point saw him define brutality then the following Iron Man match against Randy Orton was a notch higher in terms of the haymakers exchanged. At the end of it all, John Cena won the Iron Man match by 6-5 after 60 minutes of relentless war. 8. Elimination Chamber (2010) - Triple H, Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Kofi Kingston This was another terrific showdown by John Cena against five resounding superstars. He eventually went onto beat Triple H to win the Elimination Chamber but that also proved to be his shortest reign. Vince McMahon made Cena contest against Batista straight away and the Animal clinched the title in three minutes. 9. WrestleMania 26 (2010) – Batista After being divested of the title wrongfully, Cena came in quest of his vengeance. When Batista stood in front of him, the two went on an all-out war which was eventually won by Cena after he locked in an STF on Batista. He also beat Batista in a 'Last Man Standing' and 'I Quit' match to solidify his reign which went on for 84 days. 10. Extreme Rules (2011) – The Miz and John Morrison Things got bumpy for John Cena when he took a fall against The Nexus and The Miz prior to and at WrestleMania. However, he was soon back on his toes, gunning down The Hollywood A-Lister, The Miz and John Morrison in a steel cage match at the Extreme Rules to win the championship back. 11. WWE Raw (2011) – Rey Mysterio John Cena lost to CM Punk at Money in the Bank, but with The Straightedge Savior vacating the title, a tournament was hosted to refill the champion slot. Rey Mysterio won the title but later that same night, he took on the Master of 619 and defeated him to claim the belt for the 11th time. 12. Night of Champions (2011) – Alberto del Rio John Cena had an incredible run with Alberto del Rio. The two actually bared out their arsenal and dropped one good promo after the other in a build-up to the Night of Champions. Eventually, after exchanging some hard-hitting moments, John Cena won the title from Del Rio at Night of Champions. 13. WrestleMania 29 (2013) – The Rock This was a follow-up battle that saw John Cena put together pieces of exceptional microphone work. Pitted against the best with the mic in his hand, Cena and The Rock went toe-to-toe for two back-to-back WrestleManias. Cena finally avenged his defeat at WM 28 with a fine win against the most electrifying wrestler of all time. 14. Hell in a Cell (2013) – Alberto del Rio Alberto del Rio had a fine run with the title and savoured a run of dominion for a while. However, much to his surprise, John Cena came back prematurely from his triceps injury and challenged Del Rio to a battle at Hell in a Cell. The two fought a well-orchestrated battle, and eventually, it was John Cena who emerged victorious. 15. Money in the Bank (2014) – Sheamus, Kane, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Alberto del Rio, Cesaro, and Bray Wyatt After Daniel Bryan had to vacate the WWE title due to an injury, John Cena turned up and challenged for the belt in the Money in the Bank, where he was up against seven other superstars. Eventually, at the end of it all, John Cena put Randy Orton and Kane stacked up against each other before climbing the ladder and claiming the title once and for all. 16. Royal Rumble (2017) – AJ Styles This came after three years of Cena going without the title. He was locked in a phenomenal battle with AJ Styles, and the two bared their souls to the limits. Finally, John Cena leveled Ric Flair's record with an Attitude Adjustment to the Phenomenal One while finishing his title drought for three years. 17. WrestleMania 41 (2025) – Cody Rhodes The last run with the championship came at the expense of the American Nightmare. Even though fans weren't particularly happy with what went down, the two superstars pushed each other to the fringes and kept on going at each other's throats until John Cena took the distraction created by Travis Scott and put Cody Rhodes to bed. Whether as a heel or as a face, John Cena has always stood tall, delivering one incredible match after another. He has continued to fight till his last breath and as he rolls for his farewell tour, the promise of turning up at every single PLE simply makes him the icon that he is. On Friday Trump told reporters during an Oval Office event, "If we had a Fed chairman that understood what he was doing, interest rates would be coming down. He should bring them down." Live Events "Trump's comments on Powell are keeping the pressure on U.S. assets, including stocks and the long Treasuries," said Vail Hartman, U.S. rates strategist at BMO Capital Markets in New York. "The reaction may have been exacerbated by low liquidity with some markets closed overnight, but surely the debate on whether to fire or not the Fed chairman does not help", he added. The two-year U.S. Treasury yield, which typically moves in step with interest rate expectations, fell 3.2 basis points to 3.764%. Markets expect the Fed to cut rates in June, and an additional two or three times by year-end. On Monday, president Trump again pressured the U.S. central bank publicly on social media. "Preemptive interest rate cuts have been called for by many", he wrote in a post on Truth Social. Citing lower energy prices, Trump said the economy could decelerate unless "mr. Too Late, a major loser, cuts interest rates NOW". "This isn't just a disagreement over timing. It's a power struggle between fiscal force and monetary independence," said Nigel Green, CEO of deVere Group. "Markets are reacting. And they should be."
