Gwyneth Paltrow Wishes Ex Chris Martin a Happy Birthday with Sweet Photos of Him with Their Daughter Apple and Son Moses
As the Coldplay frontman turned 48 on Sunday, March 2, the actress and Goop founder, 52, shared a birthday tribute on Instagram complete with photos of Martin hanging out with their two children.
In the first picture, the 'Yellow' crooner sits alongside the former couple's daughter Apple, 20, and leans his head affectionately on hers. Martin appears pensive in the sunny shot, while Apple posed with her head resting in her hand.
In the second photo, a father-son shot, Martin sits at a piano with 18-year-old son Moses. The duo both have their heads down, seemingly out of concentration, in the sweet picture.
'Happy Birthday to the man that gave me these beautiful, wonderful human beings,' Paltrow captioned the post. 'We💚you, Chris.'

Paltrow and Martin first met in 2002 while hanging backstage at a Coldplay concert, and were married for more than a decade before they famously announced that they were "consciously uncoupling" in 2014.
They both have longtime partners — Paltrow has been married to writer-producer Brad Falchuk since 2018 and Martin has been dating Dakota Johnson since 2017 — but have remained close friends and co-parents to Apple and Moses since their split over a decade ago.
They have also been vocal about how their relationship has changed over the years, with Paltrow saying in 2019 that it is much better now.
'Family structure can be reinvented and divorce doesn't have to be devastating,' Paltrow told the Evening Standard at the time. 'It doesn't have to be the end of your relationship with somebody.'

The Goop founder also told the U.K. outlet that she and Martin 'were meant to be together and have our kids,' but their relationship 'is much better like this: friends and co-parents and family.'
The proud parents are also both vocal about their roles as parents, with Martin recently opening up about Le Bal des Débutantes, Apple's Paris deb ball that took place in November. The event was a full-family affair, with Moses, Paltrow and the actress's mom Blythe Danner also attending.
In his December cover story for Rolling Stone, the Coldplay frontman said the event was "so not something I ever thought I'd do, but because I'm so in love with her, I'm like, 'Okay.' '

Martin also joked about how he likes to 'embarrass' son Moses in the Rolling Stone interview. "I like [my kids] very much. Even though they're not biologically mine — I'm breaking the story now,' he said jokingly to the magazine.
"My favorite new thing to embarrass my son,' he explained, 'is, if we're walking down the street and someone comes up to us and they say, 'I'm sorry to disturb you while you're with your son,' I say, 'That's not my son. That's my partner.' "
'Yeah. I like them a lot,' the singer added of his kids. 'I think they are mine, to be fair."

Morgan Wallen Is Making Sure He Won't Get Any Grammy Nominations by Not Submitting
Morgan Wallen is ensuring his streak of never receiving a solo Grammy nomination continues by declining to submit his latest album, I'm the Problem, for consideration. Wallen's team confirmed the news to Rolling Stone, after it was first reported by Hits Daily Double and Billboard. Not only will Wallen not submit I'm the Problem — which has spent 11 weeks so far at Number One on the Billboard 200 — in any of the album categories, he also won't submit individual recordings in categories like Record of the Year or Best Country Solo Performance. More from Rolling Stone Morgan Wallen Taps Lil Wayne and Rick Ross for 'Miami' Remix Travis Scott's 'Jackboys 2' Tops Albums Chart Grammys Introduce New Country Album Category, Best New Artist Rules for 2026 Additionally, Wallen won't seek songwriting nominations for any of the tracks he co-wrote on I'm the Problem. But as Billboard notes, Wallen's team won't stop any of the songwriters he worked with from putting up their work for consideration. Wallen isn't the first major artist to decline to submit their music to the Grammys. Most recently, Drake, the Weeknd, and Frank Ocean have rebuffed the institution, criticizing the nominations committees and voting body for being disconnected from what's actually popular and meaningful to contemporary audiences, especially in their worlds of hip-hop and R&B. After he declined to submit Blonde, Ocean said in a 2016 interview that the Grammys don't 'seem to be representing very well for people who come from where I come from, and hold down what I hold down.' He added: 'I think the infrastructure of the awarding system and the nomination system and screening system is dated. I'd rather this be my Colin Kaepernick moment for the Grammys than sit there in the audience.' (The Recording Academy has taken some steps in recent years to diversify its voters and nominees, and add some transparency to its nominations process. Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. noted these efforts at the 67th Grammys in February before introducing a beef-squashing performance from the Weeknd.) Unlike Wallen, however, Drake, the Weeknd, and Ocean staged their protests as multiple Grammy winners. (Though, potentially bolstering their critiques, all their victories were in genre categories, as opposed to the general fields of Song, Record, and Album of the Year, or Best New Artist.) Wallen has been nominated at the Grammys just twice, and both times as a featured artist on Post Malone's 'I Had Some Help.' Coldplay's Chris Martin addresses viral 'kiss cam' moment, calls it a 'debacle'
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin spoke out this week about the viral jumbotron moment that took place at the band's show last month in Massachusetts. During Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour stop at Craven Park in Hull, England, on Aug. 18, Martin interacted with fans and read some signs in the crowd, pausing to thank them for attending the show. "Let me say hello," Martin said, according to HullLive. "The hardcore superfans down on the floor, I see you. Thank you for letting us visit." He continued, "We are so happy to be here. Many of you have written signs. So, I'll take some time to try and read some signs. Then we'll see what happens." At one point, Martin spotted someone in the crowd with a sign that read, "Three times in three months." "You were at that Boston gig. Well, OK, thank you for coming again to that debacle," he said, referencing the band's July 16 concert at Gillette Stadium, where a man and woman were famously caught on a now-viral "kiss cam"-type video, ducking out of the frame after seeing themselves on the jumbotron. In that viral footage, which was posted on TikTok July 17, a man and woman are seen embracing and looking up at the jumbo screen before realizing they are on camera, quickly disentangling themselves as the woman turns around to hide her face, the man ducking out of the picture entirely. The two were eventually identified by online users as Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and Astronomer's chief people officer Kristin Cabot, though neither have commented publicly on the matter. Martin can be heard in that video providing a play-by-play to the audience of the pair's reactions to being spotlighted on the jumbotron. "Oh, look at these two. All right, come on, you're OK. Uh oh, what?" he says as the two hide their faces. "Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy. I'm not quite sure." The moment went viral on social media and led Astronomer's board of directors to launch a formal investigation into the incident. "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," the company said in a statement at the time. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability." Byron and Cabot later resigned from the company following the incident. At the Craven Park concert on Monday, Martin said that the virality of that moment wouldn't stop the band from interacting with fans. "We've been doing this a long time, and it is only recently that it became a… yeah," he said. "So yeah, life throws you lemons and you've got to make lemonade. So, we are going to keep doing it, because we are going to meet some of you." According to a separate video shared on TikTok by another Craven Park concertgoer, Martin said the jumbotron portion of band's shows was not a "kiss cam." "This is not, never will be, and never was a kiss cam!" he said, according to the video. "It's not a kiss cam. It took one couple, and you're branded a kiss cam for the rest of your life. So believe me, this is called a 'jumbotron.'" He continued, "We've done this for a long, long time, and we pick people out to say hello. And yeah, sometimes they turn out to be an internationally massive scandal, sure. But most of the time, we're just trying to say hello to some f---ing people. That's all." "Anyway, we send pure love to those people, and I want to wish them so well," he added before telling fans that he was going to proceed with the jumbotron portion of the show, warning those who didn't want to be on international news to "please duck."

Coldplay's Chris Martin refuses to ditch jumbotron cameras despite Astronomer CEO cheating scandal
Coldplay's Chris Martin doubled down on the band's use of the jumbotron despite a playful moment that uncovered a cheating scandal. "We've been doing [the Jumbotron] a long time, and it is only recently that it became a … yeah," Martin said during the band's England stop of the "Music of the Spheres" tour. "Life throws you lemons and you've got to make lemonade," he continued, according to HullLive. "So, we are going to keep doing it because we are going to meet some of you." Astronomer CEO Andy Byron resigned from his role at his company after he was caught on the jumbotron at a Coldplay concert with his arms around the head of his company's HR department, Kristin Cabot. During Coldplay's performance on July 16, Byron appeared on the Kiss Cam with his arms wrapped around a woman, who was later identified as Cabot. The two were shown during Martin's "The Jumbotron Song," where the singer improvises lyrics about the couples shown to the crowd. Cabot immediately covered her face and turned away from the camera, while a stunned Byron ducked down and exited the frame. Martin then joked that, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." The moment ignited speculation of infidelity across social media as video of the exchange went viral. On July 18, the tech firm posted a statement on X about the controversial incident. "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability," the company shared. "The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly." On July 20, Astronomer informed its social media followers that Byron had resigned from the company. Cabot later resigned from her role as chief people officer at Astronomer, a week after the video of her cuddling up with Byron went viral. Martin seemingly poked fun at the viral moment days later. The lead singer chose to give fans a warning before showing people on the jumbotron.
