The Extradimensional Crisis pack is here in Pokemon TCG Pocket. This is the A3a set of the game and serves as a themed booster pack of the previously released Celestial Guardians expansion in the game.
This card pack is a bit different than the previous ones as this pack has introduced Ultra Beast Pokemons for the first time in Pokemon TCG Pocket. So, will it be worth it to open this pack in the game?
Is the Extradimensional Crisis Pack worth it in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
Pokémon TCG Pocket: Extradimensional Crisis | Coming May 29
As mentioned earlier, the Extradimensional Crisis Pack is based on a new kind of Pokemons called Ultra Beasts. These pokemons are from the Sun & Moon era, where they have traveled through the wormholes, set in the Alola region. This
new themed booster pack features more than 100 cards
, which is huge. Now the question arises, is it worth opening this pack in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
Yes, it is absolutely worth it.
First of all, this pack will feature a Dragon-type Pokemon for the first time, named Ultra Necrozma ex. Also, having cards like Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Guzzlord ex, and many more will surely enhance your competitive decks.
Not only that, certain Ultra Beast Pokemons will add extra strategic depth to your card combination as these are comparatively new than the pre-existing ones. For example: Nihilego boasts the ability to increase poison damage, which can be lethal in battles.

Another reason players should open the Extradimensional Crisis pack is because it has the potential to become the meta in Pokemon TCG Pocket. Currently the Giratina Ex and Darkrai Ex combo is the meta in the game. However, a combo like Poison Synergy which consists of Nihilego, Toxicroak, and Cyrus (Trainer Card) can replace the current meta as well.
On the other hand, if you use Ultra Necrozma ex, Dawn (Trainer Card), and Magnezone, then you can use the Energy Acceleration synergy to make the Dragon type Pokemon blow huge damage.

'Wish Zora was here': Shikhar Dhawan's heartfelt message for son melts fans' hearts

Shikhar Dhawan with his son. (Pic credit: Dhawan's post) NEW DELHI: Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan 's latest social media post has moved fans across the cricketing world, offering a deeply personal glimpse into the life of a player more often seen smiling on the field than speaking of his struggles off it. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Sharing a series of affectionate, previously unseen photographs with his son Zoraver, Dhawan penned a heartfelt message on Instagram: 'WCL mein jab doston ko apne kids ke saath khelte dekha… bas ek thought aaya, wish Zora was here. It would've been a different kind of joy. Later, I came across some of his childhood photos… and suddenly, all those memories came rushing back. Some moments really do stay closest to the heart.' Poll How do you feel about Shikhar Dhawan's openness regarding his personal struggles? Very supportive Somewhat supportive Neutral Among the pictures was one with Rohit Sharma , another with Yuvraj Singh and a young Zoraver — a reminder of the family bonds cricket often hides behind the scoreboard. In October 2023, Dhawan was granted a divorce by a Delhi court, which observed that he had suffered 'mental distress' from being kept away from his only son for years. While visitation rights and video calls were allowed, Dhawan revealed to ANI earlier this year that he has since been blocked from all virtual communication. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Johor Bahru: Clearance on Unsold Refrigerators – Secure Yours Now! The actress has now shut down a social media user who trolled Fahad and called him a 'Chhapri'. Troll mocks Fahad Ahmad's appearance on show Several videos of Swara and Fahad from the show, which recently premiered, have been making the rounds on social media. Reacting to one clip, a troll wrote on X, 'After watching @Parineeti Chopra taking her husband to talk shows for PR, @ReallySwara thought of doing the same.' The user went on to add, 'She took his Dongri ka chapri husband to a reality show. Forget PR, his husband was looking like a street vendor from Dongri (sic).' Hansal Mehta says Guru Dutt was 'not a great actor'; Javed Akhtar reveals an unknown fact about 'Pyaasa' movie

Even 100 years after his birth, Guru Dutt 's impact on Indian cinema is still deeply felt. The legendary director of classics like 'Pyaasa' and 'Kaagaz Ke Phool' continues to inspire modern filmmakers such as Sudhir Mishra, R. Balki, and Hansal Mehta . As the film industry marks his centenary, Hansal Mehta shared an honest and bold opinion—he feels Guru Dutt was a much stronger filmmaker than actor. Guru Dutt a better director than actor Speaking at a centenary event honouring the legendary filmmaker, Mehta stated, 'The principal performances in Guru Dutt's films are remarkably not great. This is my personal, unpopular opinion — Guru Dutt himself was not a great actor." Mehta praises Guru Dutt's strength as a visual storytelling Hansal went on to explain that Guru Dutt's true brilliance lay in his mastery of visual and emotional storytelling. According to him, Dutt's strong directorial craft often made up for what he felt were average performances, 'But the craft, the overall cinema of that moment was stronger. It wasn't dependent on that one central performance," he said. He further said, 'It was all the elements of cinema coming together — lighting, framing, the way scenes were staged. When you talk about craft, you often say, 'Arey, performance itna achha nahi hai'. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo You don't notice other aspects of filmmaking." Mehta on the visual impact of 'Pyaasa' While reflecting on Guru Dutt's famous scene in 'Pyaasa', where he stands with arms outstretched during the song, 'Yeh Duniya Agar Mil Bhi Jaaye Toh Kya Hai" plays. Because the cinematic experience is so powerful, it overpowers his own inadequacy as an actor. So, you remember that frame, him standing like Jesus Christ, but as an actor, I found him fairly blank if I look at him. I don't need to because everything else in that is so complete. " Dilip Kumar was Guru Dutt's first choice for 'Pyaasa' In an interesting revelation, legendary writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar shared that 'Pyaasa' was not initially meant to star Guru Dutt. Speaking at an event, Akhtar disclosed that Dutt had first approached none other than Dilip Kumar to play the heartbroken poet at the center of the film's tragic love triangle. Regretted saying no Despite Guru's heartfelt offer, Dilip Kumar turned it down once again, believing it would be impractical to reshoot a film already in progress. Javed shared that the legendary actor later confessed he had only a few regrets in his career and 'Pyaasa' was one of them. Speaking candidly, Akhtar said, 'Dilip sahab told me he repents three films he refused. Baiju Bawra (1952) was one of them — maybe because he couldn't understand the intensity. And 'Pyaasa'. And third, I'm very shyly saying, Zanjeer," Interestingly, 'Zanjeer', co-written by Akhtar and Salim Khan, would go on to become the turning point in Amitabh Bachchan's career.
