Authorities had earlier closed the tunnel heading towards Sepanggar Port to facilitate inspection, damage assessment, and road surface cleaning. The concession company confirmed that all necessary works, including the removal of the fallen exhaust fan, were carried out promptly. SANDAKAN: An oil spill occurred at Batu 9, Jalan Labuk, on Saturday after a tanker truck overturned. Sandakan Fire and Rescue chief Jimmy Lagung said they received the emergency call at 11.45am and dispatched seven personnel to the scene, about 12km from the station.
