WWE Smackdown results: Andrade defeats Carmelo Hayes and Jacob Fatu to book Money in the Bank Ladder Match spot
The match kicked off with all three Superstars flying into action. Andrade and Fatu briefly worked together before turning on each other. Hayes tried to stay in the mix but was knocked aside several times. On the outside, Fatu ran over The Miz with a brutal hip attack into the barricade just before the first commercial break.

Back in the ring, Andrade landed a Spanish Fly, and Hayes connected with a Codebreaker. Fatu tried to end things with a double jump moonsault, but Andrade broke up the pin. Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo walked to the ringside as the match heated up.
Fatu delivered another big moonsault on Hayes but looked toward Sikoa and Mateo for approval instead of going for the win. That gave Andrade his chance. As Jimmy Uso ran down to take out Mateo, Hayes got back in the ring and landed a Codebreaker on Fatu.
But Andrade was one step ahead. He grabbed Hayes and smashed him with The Message, his spinning back elbow, to get the three count and punch his ticket to Los Angeles.
With this victory, Andrade joins LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, and Solo Sikoa in the Men's Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match. It was a win that proved timing is everything, and Andrade picked his moment perfectly.

Bayley teases Jimmy Uso with a playful jab following his wife Naomi's pregnancy announcement on Raw
Bayley and Jimmy Uso. Image via: itsmebayley/Instagram WWE fans got a mix of joy and shock on Monday night when Naomi revealed she is expecting her first child with Jimmy Uso . The announcement meant her 35-day reign as WWE Women's World Champion came to an abrupt end, but the moment turned into a celebration across the locker room and beyond. In her attempt to add a twist to the news, Bayley couldn't resist poking fun at Jimmy with a cheeky Instagram post. Bayley sends a playful reaction to Naomi's pregnancy announcement with Jimmy Uso Bayley has recently sent a playful jab aimed at Jimmy Uso. 'EVERYBODY SAY THANK YOU BIG JIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMM HAHAHAHAHAHA ⚠️🍼' Bayley wrote, attaching a monochrome picture with Jimmy Uso. Her post on Instagram came right after the couple's public announcement of their special news. Bayley's post appears to warn Jimmy playfully about his wife and the baby as she added 'proceed with caution' emoji alongside a baby feeding bottle. The big laughter also appears to be a nod to Naomi's iconic laughter. The reveal first appeared in a preview of Stephanie McMahon's What's Your Story? podcast, featuring Naomi and Jimmy. Once the live crowd saw the clip, Naomi leaned straight into her heel persona, booting Raw GM Adam Pearce out of the ring to soak up the chants of 'Baby Uso.' 'I'm pregnant and I'm having a baby,' Naomi said in the podcast segment. She didn't stop there, adding: 'All of y'all in the locker room should be thanking one person. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Villas In Dubai | Search Ads Get Rates Undo They should be thanking Big Jim. Without him, they know they wouldn't have had a chance taking this title off of me.' Fans roared in approval, while the champ promised she would reclaim her spot when she returns. Her warning was blunt: 'Whoever has that title when I do, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution.' Naomi's WWE exit opens major opportunity for women's roster to capture the vacant Women's World Championship Naomi's reign may have been short, but it was significant. She won Money in the Bank in June, cashed in at Evolution to steal the spotlight from Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, and defended her belt in a hard-hitting SummerSlam triple threat. By the time Raw rolled around this week, her run was over, but her influence was undeniable. Now, the question is, who fills the void? Stephanie Vaquer had already secured a title opportunity after winning the Women's Battle Royal at Evolution. She was set to face Naomi at Clash in Paris on August 31, but that bout is now off. On commentary, Michael Cole hinted that next week's Raw will provide clarity. Naomi relinquishes WWE Women's World Championship title, expecting first child with husband Jimmy
Naomi announces pregnancy (Image via WWE) The latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW had a big surprise for the fans. Naomi , who won the WWE Women's World Championship title by defeating Iyo Sky at Evolution, after cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase, has just announced her pregnancy. The wrestler was 6 weeks pregnant, and allegedly found out about it on Sunday, August 17 - after that banger of a match against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky at SummerSlam 2025 earlier this month. Naomi relinquishes her World Championship title after pregnancy announcement Naomi was set to fight against Iyo Sky on last week's episode of RAW, but the match was canceled at the last minute, suggesting she wasn't medically cleared for it. Now, a week later, we know why! Naomi and husband Jimmy Uso were on Stephanie McMahon's 'What's Your Story' podcast, a clip of which was aired during RAW tonight, where the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Naomi has been the WWE Women's World Champion for 36 days, and this has been a great run for her as well as the fans. Although unwillingly, she has laid her championship belt down in the middle of the ring, relinquishing her title, but only for the time being. She will be back, even if she has to do it while br**stfeeding her baby in 9 months. Becky Lynch and Jade Cargill react to Naomi's pregnancy announcement While everyone is ecstatic with the recent announcement from Naomi, fellow wrestlers from WWE have already started congratulating the star. Jade Cargill, who has had a great run in recent times with Naomi after the latter's heel turn earlier this year, was one of the first to congratulate her friend. She wrote a comment on the post by WWE's official Instagram handle announcing Naomi's pregnancy, writing, 'Girl I hate you so bad!!! CONGRATULATIONS,' followed by a series of emojis Another hilarious reaction came from none other than Becky Lynch, who jokingly wrote, "How irresponsible getting pregnant as a champion." This was a throwback to when Lynch herself had to relinquish her RAW Women's Championship title after getting pregnant back in May 2020. Naomi will be taking some time off the ring due to her pregnancy, and fans are extremely happy with the recent news, but she will be back to entertain the fans, even if it takes a little while.
