REALITY star Nihal Candan has tragically died aged 30 after a battle with anorexia.
The popular Turkish influencer passed away in hospital on June 21 weighing just three and a half stone.

She had reportedly dropped to the fatal weight after losing almost 40kg in the last two years.
While undergoing treatment in hospital, doctors said her heart stopped working and they were unable to revive her.
News of her death was posted online by her sister who said she called the hospital last week to enquire about her sibling's health.
She was told Nihal's heart had stopped and CPR was being performed. Moments later, she was pronounced dead.

Hundreds of fans have since flocked online to pay tribute to the "beautiful" woman.
'I literally cried over this. she was so young and beautiful,' said one.
'You left this world too early … But the energy, smile and memories you left behind are still with us,' said another.
The Federation of Women's Association of Turkey also released a statement following the star's death condemning the "deadly pressure" society inflicts on women.

In a heartfelt post on X, the federation warned of the "life-threatening risks" of social media and TV presenting unrealistic beauty standards.
The post read: 'Nihal Candan's death due to anorexia nervosa once again reveals that the pressures and impositions placed on women's bodies by society can reach deadly levels."

The foundation also criticised competitions and shows that "objectify" women and push them to take "life-threatening" risks.
"This issue also reflects a broader problem of inequality. It is something we must discuss and debate extensively," the post said.

Nihal rose to fame in 2014 during her stints on Turkish reality TV shows Bu Tarz Benim and Survivor.
Amassing nearly 900,000 followers online she soon became a popular figure in the beauty and fashion world, later seeing her launch beauty company Nihal Candan Beauty Center.

Complaining of poor concentration, dizziness, tiredness or feeling cold
Getting stressed at mealtimes
Low mood, anxiety or irritability
Social withdrawal
In 2023, Nihal and her sister were arrested for fraud and money laundering.
During her time in prison, the reality TV star developed a serious eating disorder, which led to her early release from prison over concerns for her health.

This comes as glamour model Katie Price recently revealed exactly how much she weighs following fan concerns over her skinny frame.
The 47-year-old first sparked worry over her shrinking appearance at the start of the year, hit out at critics on Snapchat as she zoomed in on a set of scales.
The TV personality, believed to be around 5ft 4in tall, showed her weight as 7st 12lb.
In an attempt to put fears to rest Katie, said in the video: "Everyone is so obsessed with my weight. This is what I weigh. That. That is what I weigh."

'It was horrific': UK hair transplant patients left disfigured and scarred
Hair transplant patients have been left disfigured and with extensive scarring following an increasing number of 'black market' treatments in the UK, according to the industry body. It has prompted the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) to call for better regulation of the sector, including a requirement that only licensed medical doctors carry out the procedure. The industry body has warned against cheap procedures advertised on social media being carried out by 'unlicensed' providers, leading many patients to fork out thousands of pounds to have the procedure fixed. A 60-year-old man in Kent says he opted to have a hair transplant done in the UK, believing it would be safer and more regulated than overseas. But he now says he wished he had never gone to the practice he did after two failed surgeries. 'I didn't trust the Turkish clinics, so decided to stay in the UK,' the man, who wanted to remain anonymous, said. 'However, my experience was extremely poor, and I know that some of the incisions were made by non-doctors. 'The results were very disappointing. 'My head was sore for at least two months afterwards.' A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson called the reports 'shocking' and promised to 'clamp down on dodgy practitioners.' Hair transplant surgeon Greg Williams, who is the BAHRS vice president, said it was crucial that Follicular Unit Excisions (FUE) – which involve harvesting hair from the back and sides of the head and grafting it into tiny cuts made to balding areas of the scalp – were carried out by licensed and qualified doctors. 'There is a problematic rise in unlicensed technicians being allowed to perform the skin incision step rather than just the graft extraction step,' he said. 'The decisions involved in harvesting follicular units rely on the knowledge and experience of the hair transplant surgeon and requires judgement. 'It is not just a simple technical skill.' The BAHRS says there were many reputable and qualified providers in the UK, but warned patients against making 'poorly researched' decisions. A Brighton man says he wished he had done more research after finding his clinic through an advert on Facebook which offered hair transplant surgery for £2,000. 'With my first surgery, the incisions felt like and made the same noise as a fork going into polystyrene,' he said. 'It was horrific. 'I had pain and discomfort for six to 12 months. 'I was left with deep head scarring, long term pain and psychological damage after 'black market' hair transplant surgery.' A Brighton man had a poor result from his surgery in 2020. / Credit: It is recommended to ask questions and check the registration of the clinic before having any work done: Hair transplant clinics in England by law must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). You can check the clinic name on the CQC's website. Make sure you know who your hair transplant surgeon is. Beware of clinics that do not name the doctors along with their qualifications and experience. Ensure the transplant surgeon is a licensed medical doctor. Confirm this again on the day of the procedure. More than 735,000 hair transplant procedures are carried out around the world each year. The hair transplant market is expected to be worth up to £12 billion globally by 2030. A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson said: 'It is shocking people are being left physically and emotionally scarred from these procedures. 'We will clamp down on dodgy practitioners and protect people by introducing new rules which mean only qualified healthcare professionals will be able to perform the highest risk procedures. 'If you are considering a cosmetic procedure, please check your provider's qualifications and insurance – and avoid treatments that appear suspiciously cheap.' Stephenie Lagrossa Kendrick, who has appeared on the long-running show 3 times — and recently returned from filming the show's upcoming landmark 50th season in Fiji — hurled insults at Eliza Orlins, a Jewish contestant who has competed twice on the show. Kendrick, 46, was angry that Orlins released a dossier called 'The Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick Files: MAGA, Misinformation, And Deleted Receipts,' calling her out on her conservative politics. Orlins, a public defender in New York, occasionally criticizes fellow contestants with views she deems 'problematic.' But Kendrick unleashed a foul tirade Sunday night - with her foul-mouthed rant now likely to give CBS bosses the vapors. "Don't come at me with your political status when you're f***ing Jewish,' Kendrick says into the camera. 'Your parents are 1% of the population of wealth.' Author Suzanne Collins watched her on the show and was inspired to write the Hunger Games. At the time, Kendrick was the most popular contestant on CBS's website poll, scoring a 92% favorable rating. Although she returned the same year for Survivor Guatemala, and again for 2010's Heroes vs. Villains — Kendrick has yet to win the game.
