DS Lisa Swain's (Vicky Myers) suspicions of Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) continue to grow in Coronation Street this week when she appears to catch him up to no good.
There has always been somewhat of a rivalry between the detectives, but things grew more serious after Lisa learnt that Kit had requested access to files related to Becky Swain, Lisa's late wife.
Becky had been under investigation for corruption before she was killed in a hit and run while on duty, and Lisa has been determined to get to the bottom of what really happened.
It would appear that she isn't the only one, as her recent attempt to snoop through DI Costello's emails led her to discover Kit's sudden interest.
She furiously confronted him and made it clear that she didn't trust him, and as the new video shows, things are still tense between them.
As Kit takes a phone call in their shared office, Lisa questions if it was a personal call, which leaves Kit defensive.
He insists that as they're sharing the space they must keep things professional, something Lisa insists she is very good at.
However, being professional doesn't mean ignoring her instincts, so as soon as Kit leaves the room Lisa puts her detective skills to good use.
Eager to know what Kit had written down during his private call, Lisa picks up a pencil and scribbles over the post-it note that is now at the top of the pad.
As she suspected, the scribble highlights the indentation of what Kit had written on the sheet above – though Lisa is clearly shocked by what she has found.
Kit had written down Costello's name, followed by a phone number.
What is he up to, and has Lisa caught him in the middle of something really dodgy?
There are further shocks in store for the detective when Costello later pulls her aside and warns her to keep her relationship with DC Green strictly professional.
As he admits he doesn't want her to be dragged down with him, how will she react?
Later in the week, Kit confides in Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) the real reason he'd requested Becky's files.
He explains that he had been working on a case that he realised was linked to an historic case Becky had been working on, but when he requested the files Costello had warned him off, instructing him to leave it well alone.
Of course, Kit wasn't prepared to do that, and admits to Sarah that he has been working on the case in secret. More Trending
Could this be what his phone call is about? If so, is Costello somehow involved? Is that why he's tried so hard to keep Lisa and Kit from looking any further into Becky's murder?
When Lisa was previously caught going through his emails for whatever information she could find on Becky, he had assured her that there was nothing to find because the corruption case against her had been dropped.

Family's note pleading for return of dad and three children missing for four yea

The mum and sister of a New Zealand man who kidnapped his three children and has been a fugitive in the wilderness ever since have begged him to come home. Four years ago, Tom Phillips took his children, Ember, nine, Maverick, 10, and Jayda, 12, from their home after losing a custody battle with his former partner. The children's mother, Catherine, previously said she thought her daughter tried to get a message out to the public during a previous sighting of the four. Until now, Tom's family have remained quiet on the matter. This week, his sister Rozzi and mum Julia spoke out for the first time. In a handwritten letter to her son, mum Julia wrote: 'Tom – I feel really sad that you thought you had to do this. Not considering how much we love you and can support you. 'It hurts every time I see photos of the children and of you and see some of your stuff that is still here. Jayda, Maverick, Ember – I love you so much and really miss being part of your lives.' Rozzi told Stuff: 'Every day I wake up and hope that today will be the day that you all come home. There's a lot of love and there's a lot of support, and we're ready to help you walk through what you need to walk through.' Police think Tom and his children have been hiding off-grid in the rural Waikato region, and have offered a £37,000 reward for anyone who has information on them. It's believed Tom has gotten help from other people to remain undetected for this long. The children were last spotted in February this year, by State Highway 4, south of Te Kūiti. Catherine previously expressed her worry that her children are in danger, slamming Philips for 'child endangerment'. Tom failed to appear in court in January 2022 for a charge of causing wasteful deployment of police personnel and resources. He is also wanted over an alleged armed robbery of a bank in Te Kuiti in September 2023. Last year, mum Catherine said in an emotional video: 'They are just innocent children, they do not deserve to be treated this way. They do not deserve the life that is being provided to them right now.' One of the boys who took the footage recalled: 'I said, 'This is private property', and she was like, 'Yeah… duh'. Then I asked, 'Does anyone know you're on here?' and she said, 'No, just you guys.'' More Trending Mum Catherine is especially worried for her youngest child, Ember, who is asthmatic and requires medical care. 'Many of you say that the children are fine and they are being well looked after,' she previously said. 'How do you know? Have you seen them? Or is it just bush talk? What Thomas is doing is not OK. It is not OK to divide and conquer, to isolate and control.' Police DI Andrew Saunders said: 'Immunity against prosecution will be considered for anyone who has committed an offence in assisting Tom Phillips, if they provide information or evidence which leads to the location and safe return of the children.' This Morning's Lisa Snowdon wows in 'elegant' olive co-ord that's 'great for autumn'

This Morning presenter Lisa Snowdon looked effortlessly stylish in an olive green co-ord set on the show - and it's perfect for autumn. Here's where to buy it This Morning fashion mogul Lisa Snowdon is no stranger to turning heads with her effortless style. And this week, she wowed viewers and fans with an 'elegant' co-ord set that's going to be perfect for transitional wear from summer through to autumn. The 53-year-old appeared on the daytime show on Tuesday, August 19 alongside Sian Welby and Craig Doyle to deliver a masterclass on styling co-ords. The two-piece sets can prove to be seriously hardworking wardrobe pieces, and can be used to create multiple outfits, making them a savvy investment for fashion fans. But while she was busy giving viewers inspiration on how to style co-ords from the high street, it was her very own outfit that sent shoppers rushing to find out where it was from. The model and presenter looked 'fab' in an olive green set - and we know exactly where it's from. 47 Skin's 'life-changing' skincare products for spot-prone teens are now 10% off L'Oreal anti-ageing skincare bundle with 'magic in a jar' cream is now £47 off After stepping out in the set, Lisa shared a snap in her ensemble to Instagram where she was flooded with compliments. 'Always so elegant my darling,' said one, while another added: 'Ooh love this look and really fab colour – will be great for autumn too.' Some simply had to know where to buy it, commenting: 'Lisa where is your outfit from? It's gorgeous.' Lisa's set was from none other than celebrity favourite Nobody's Child. She wore the Green Crew Neck Tailored Waistcoat (£75) alongside the Green Tailored Wide Leg Trousers, which will set shoppers back £85. The olive waistcoat is inspired by vintage silhouettes with a crew neck and button down front, while the matching trousers have a high-waisted fit and wide leg with front pleats for a tailored feel. Clocking in at £160 for both pieces, it might be on the expensive side for some shoppers, but there are plenty of alternatives on the high street. Topshop has this Topshop co-ord scoop neck longline waistcoat in green for £50, with the matching trousers costing £60, totalling £110. Meanwhile, this Vero Moda linen touch pleat front trouser co-ord in olive costs £33.60 for the trousers and £38 for the top, so £71.60 overall. Speaking to the versatility and appeal of a co-ord, Lisa told Sian and Craig: 'It's an easy ready-to-go look. You throw on a co-ord and it's effortless. It's minimum effort and you just look chic immediately. But you want this to work really hard in your wardrobe. If you've got a co-ord, it's three looks in one.' Shoppers can wear the matching set together for instant elegance, or separately to expand your outfit options. The top can be paired with jeans for a smart-casual look, or with tailored shorts or a skirt in the warmer weather. Alternatively, the trousers can be teamed with a plain white tee for a cool, off-duty look, or with a blazer for a chic office look. With autumn approaching, Lisa's olive green set couldn't be more perfect, lending itself to both late summer days, into chillier autumn looks. Shoppers can find her co-ord on the Nobody's Child website.

Corrie's Kit drops major clue about someone close to him in early ITVX release

This article contains spoilers for tonight's Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX. DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) has clearly been up to something in Coronation Street of late, and it appears to have something to do with his boss, DI Costello. Earlier this week, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) grew suspicious after overhearing Kit on the phone. Once his back was turned, she did some detective work of her own and discovered that her colleague had noted an unfamiliar phone number down alongside the DI's name. When she asked him whether he had a new phone, Costello denied it, before questioning her relationship with Kit and warning her to keep it professional as he didn't want to see her dragged down with him. Of course, this left Lisa even more suspicious, though when she tried to quiz Kit, he gave nothing away. Their conversation was interrupted by Kit's phone ringing, with the detective being called into the station. It quickly transpired that Eli, Sarah Platt's (Tina O'Brien) client, had filed a harassment complaint against him, and he and Costello needed to discuss it. However, Kit's guard was raised when Costello let him off relatively lightly, dropping the matter and relegating him to desk duty, insisting that Kit tell anyone who asked that it was because of his injuries. Ever observant, Lisa didn't buy the excuse and told Kit that if he was having issues with Costello then she could help. He brushed her off, insisting that he was simply injured, though it was clear she wasn't convinced. Later, Kit finally admitted that he was suspicious of Costello's motives, pointing out that he usually came down hard on his coppers instead of letting them off easy. As Kit pondered this, Lisa took the opportunity to question why he had tried to access Becky Swain's files. Viewers will know that Lisa's late wife was also police, and was under investigation for corruption when she was killed in the line of duty. When Lisa went looking for more information, she was caught red-handed by Costello himself, who assured her that there was nothing to find, as the case against Becky had been dropped. However, Lisa had found something – a request for the files from her colleague. Though Kit told Lisa to stop snooping, he later confessed to Sarah that he had been investigating a case that had links to an historic case involving Becky. However, when Costello demanded that he leave the case well alone, Kit continued to investigate in secret – and he may have found something. More Trending When Kit was later called into Costello's office, the boss told him that he was 'a man of integrity with nothing to hide' and Kit should be careful what he says. Undeterred, Kit retorted that that 'wasn't strictly true'… View More » What has Kit got on DI Costello, and could it cost him his job? And could it have something to do with Becky's death?
