Nitesh Tiwari Ropes In Amit Sial To Play Sugriv In Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana: Report
Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is one of the most awaited and talked-about upcoming projects. The stellar cast has been making waves, and a new update suggests that Amit Sial has joined the Ranbir Kapoor -starrer, and he will be seen playing the role of Sugriv. As per Hindu mythology, Sugriv is the younger brother of Bali, who helped Lord Rama in rescuing Sita from the demon king Ravana.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, a source revealed, 'Amit has shot a few portions of the film, and he will be seen playing a Hindu epic mythological character Sugriv. The actor and the director, Nitesh, will be working on his appearance to have authenticity to his narrative."
'Amit is nearly at the completion of his part in the first edition of the film," the source further added.

Makers have finally unveiled the first look from the much-anticipated cinematic rendition of the epic, headlined by Ranbir Kapoor. Produced by Madhu Mantena and Allu Aravind, Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the grandest projects ever attempted in Indian cinema.
The first instalment, Ramayana: Part 1, is slated for a Diwali 2026 release, while the second chapter will follow in Diwali 2027.
Amitabh Bachchan To Lend His Voice As Narrator?
Earlier, an update suggested Amitabh Bachchan will also be an integral part of the magnum opus—not just as a character but as its narrator. A Mid-Day report quoted a source, 'We're exploring the idea of having Bachchan as the sutradhar. His voice adds gravitas that no one else can match. The makers are keen that the film opens with his voice. It's still at the discussion stage. While the clash is a concern, there will be ways to work it out on a creative level. Having him open the film and be the spiritual narrator will have a strong impact."
