AS 18-year-old Princess Andre gears up for a debut TV series, the similarities between her and mum Katie Price are stark.
Pneumatic model Katie also got her big break aged 18, with big-money deals, frenzied press speculation and reality television shows to follow.

Which makes the secret rift between mother and daughter, which we can lay bare for the first time today, all the more heartbreaking.
While Katie, 47, adores her eldest daughter — who she had with first husband Peter Andre — she has been left devastated after the teenager was told to 'distance herself' from her 'low-rent' relative.
Telly bosses deliberately cut the former glamour model out of forthcoming ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie'.
In a bid to market the youngster as a pretty, middle-class influencer, they even turned down Katie's team's offer to film for free for three days.
'A BIT MOLLY-CODDLED'
The snub, says a friend, has crushed the mum of five, with parallels, they say, to the ongoing Beckham family feud.
Says one: 'Katie feels isolated and disregarded. She loves Princess so much and is supremely proud of the young woman she is becoming.
But with all her expertise in the field, Kate obviously hoped to help steer her career — oversee contracts, advise her on press, that sort of thing.
'She has seen and done it all, and hoped to instil some wisdom and advice on how to handle fame.
'But ITV2 execs have made it clear they want nothing to do with her. Princess has been advised to distance herself from her outspoken mum, and is perhaps too young and shy to defy orders.
'Katie has been made to feel like a pariah when it comes to Princess's professional life.
'It's almost as though her working class roots and salt-of-the-earth attitude — one that has seen her make millions and remain a household name 25 years on — aren't good enough.

'Princess told her mum that she needed to distance herself publicly and yet chats to her all the time behind closed doors.
'She will always love her mum but there is just a personal/professional divide right now, which is tough for Kate.
'Kate is really embarrassed. She even offered to give up her own time to film for the new show but got an email back saying her services weren't required.
Kate is really embarrassed. She feels a bit like Brooklyn Beckham, with no one in the Andre family really speaking to her.
'She feels a bit like Brooklyn Beckham, with no one in the Andre family really speaking to her.
'Even Kate's mum, Amy, who cherishes Princess, has been dragged into it all. She is so heartbroken about what is going on.'
The Prices were banned from attending Princess's 18th birthday party in June due to filming.
Katie, meanwhile, got a bucket-load of online stick after accidentally sharing a happy birthday Instagram message 36 hours before the big day.

The new ITV2 series, which will feature Princess's older brother Junior and her dad Peter, begins on Sunday.
It also stars Pete's second wife Emily, a doctor with whom he appears blissfully happy.
For the past few months, cameras have followed Princess around as she launches her influencing career, having already signed money- spinning deals with brands including Morphe and Superdrug.
'INCREDIBLY ALIENATED'
She has more than 1.5million followers on social media and a dedicated legion of young fans.
In the fly-on-the-wall series, the teenager addresses the traumatic memories of her parents' divorce, admitting she grew up in her household knowing her parents 'didn't like each other'.
After bosses turned down Katie's offer to appear in the show for free, they instead asked for historic YouTube archive material to use.
Furious Kate's team staunchly refused.
Another concern of the Price family is that Princess is being handed fame too easily.

The friend adds: 'Katie had to graft for her celebrity, going to castings on foot and by bus, and hustling for every bit of success. In contrast, Princess is maybe being a bit molly-coddled.
'She has chauffeur-driven cars taking her to and from events, and a management team doing all the commercial deals and paperwork for her.
'Technically, Princess, who is an absolutely lovely girl and remarkably grounded given her privilege and famous parentage, is a nepo-baby.
'There would be no TV series without Katie, so Kate feels it's imperative she doesn't take fame for granted.
'In short, she would love to be there for her daughter and be allowed more of a say in her career.
CHILDHOOD TRAUMA
'Personally they remain a constant in one another's lives, but professionally Kate feels incredibly alienated.'
Princess is managed by her Aussie dad's management company, who previously represented Katie when the couple were together.
However, when the Mysterious Girl singer and Katie, who met when they were both contestants on 2004's I'm A Celebrity, divorced in 2009 after four years of marriage, their management went with Team Andre.
The couple famously had their own hit ITV2 reality show Katie & Peter from 2004. The second and final series gave a telling insight into their problems, with the couple bickering badly during filming.
They split up acrimoniously not long after.
Relations between Peter and his loyal managers on one side and Katie on the other have been fractious for years.
Although the former couple are now on civil terms, WhatsApping about their two children, it is fair to suggest there is little love lost.
It is a topic that gets explored on the new show, and Princess has been doing a round of PR interviews to promote the series.

She has admitted to having therapy to help with some of her childhood trauma.
In one interview she said: 'I do wish I could have had a happier childhood.
'In the sense of, like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.'
While acknowledging the 'good times' in her childhood, she opened up about her mum's bitter split from third husband Kieran Hayler when she was ten.
She does, though, also speak of her love for both parents. Katie is currently dating Married At First star JJ Slater, a man who gets on well with all the family.
Although publicly Princess and Katie are not allowed to be photographed together, privately, I'm told, they speak 'pretty much' every day.
Certainly, the last time I visited Kate at home in East Sussex, Princess was there alongside big brother Junior and his girlfriend, as well as the duo's older half-brother, Harvey.
With three dogs, five bald Sphynx cats, including a pregnant one, a baby (Kate's niece Olive), two cameramen, Harvey, Kate's podcast partner, a cleaner, Junior and Princess and one of their mates, a photographer, and JJ, it was absolute chaos. But happy chaos.
I chatted to Princess over chicken Caesar baguettes and golden syrup cookies and she was an utter delight — charming, polite and endearingly shy.
We discussed fame and the pressures within it, and she seemed excited yet level-headed about whatever is to follow.
She and her mum cracked jokes and chatted freely. Their bond was clear to see. Princess is a credit to both her parents.
If only, then, she was able to be as proud of her mum as her mum is of her.
The Princess Diaries begins on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.

Strictly Come Dancing favourite will NOT have a celebrity partner this year as they are tempted away by new gig
Gorka Marquez has pulled out of being partnered with a celebrity on the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. The professional dancer, 34, will be missing from the BBC show for three weeks this year to work as a judge on the Spanish version Bailando Con Las Estrellas. His judging commitments means he can't have a professional partner on the new series and will be instead part of the ensemble dancers. According to The Sun, Gorka will appear as part of the ensemble for the first seven weeks and then will be gone for a month before returning in week 11. A source said: 'Strictly bosses were desperate to keep Gorka so have made it work around his schedule to make sure he's as involved as possible because he's such a fan favourite.' Gorka took to Instagram to confirm he would be a judge on the Spanish version of Strictly. He wrote: 'I am happy to announce that I will be back for season two of BAILANDO CON LAS ESTRELLAS as a judge from September. 'Due to the filming dates this means that I won't be competing with a partner this year in Strictly but I will be a part of lots of the group numbers and will be back for final weeks of the Show to support the rest of my fellow pros and their celebrities in what is going to be an AMAZING SERIES. 'As always thank you for all The love and supportand remember!' It comes after Strictly unveiled two new pros who are joining the lineup ahead of the much-anticipated new series this autumn. Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon will shimmy onto screens alongside a slew of much-loved pros later this year, with both already familiar to the show, having performed on the show's international versions, Dancing With The Stars. American-born Alexis Warr, 25, is best known for winning US dance series So You Think You Can Dance in 2022 and was crowned as 'America's Favourite Dancer', becoming the first female Ballroom and Latin dancer to claim the title. She has performed as a guest Professional Dancer and in the dance troupe on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, and has been part of the series' accompanying US tour for the past three years. As well as appearing on America's Got Talent, World of Dance, and on national tours across the States, Alexis has also joined Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough for three tours, in addition to his Las Vegas residency. Prior to the announcement, Alexis hinted that she could be joining the Strictly pros in the new lineup, as she shared a video ahead of her flight to the UK over the weekend. The fiery redhead has been married to dentist Jake Burton for six years, and regularly shares sweet snaps with her spouse on Instagram. Speaking about joining the show, Alexis said: 'I've admired Strictly for years, so joining this incredible family is such an honour. 'I can't wait to step into the ballroom, pour my heart into every moment, and share my love of dance with the UK.' Australian-born Julian has been dancing since the age of 10, specialising in Ballroom and Latin American, and going onto represent Australia on the international stage. He appeared as a Professional Dancer on three seasons of Australia's Dancing With The Stars, has toured the globe with hit dance show Burn The Floor, and also competed on So You Think You Can Dance in Australia. Julian has a degree in Exercise Physiology from UNSW Sydney and, alongside his dance career, has worked as a Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist. Back in December, Julian announced his engagement to his girlfriend Sofia, posting a sweet video of their beachside proposal on Instagram. He said: 'Joining the cast of Strictly really is a dream come true. I've watched it for years, especially cheering on all the amazing dancers I know and work with who've been part of it. I can't wait to get stuck in, have some fun, and be part of something special! '

Celebs SAS stars 'to get full fee despite quitting Channel 4 show early'
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins stars will reportedly still get their full fee even if they quit, and three of the contestants are said to have raked in thousands for just minutes on screen Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins stars will reportedly still get their full fee even if they quit the show early. The Channel 4 military-style reality series returned to screens last week with the likes of X Factor legend Lucy Spraggan, footballer Troy Deeney and former drugs mule Michaella McCollum amongst a host of others being put through their paces by the show's tough directors. However, viewers watched as pop star Hannah Spearritt quit the show just minutes into the first episode, and dancer Louie Spencer later realised he could not hack it either so decided to remove his armband and walk off. In episode two, Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Chloe Burrows quit on the spot as well. Insiders have claimed that some of the stars are being paid up to £20,000 as an appearance fee and insisted that they will still receive payment in full, no matter what stage of the competition they actually reach. A source told The Sun: "Hannah Spearitt, Chloe Burrows and Tasha Ghouri will all have been paid over £10k - some as much as £20k - but unlike other reality shows, they do get paid if they pull out. So even though Hannah only lasted one minute, she'll still get paid over £10k for that minute." It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. The source added that even though it can be 'embarrassing' for celebrities to quit so early, it is "well worth stars signing up even if they don't think they can complete the show just for the payday - it might be embarrassing taking their armband off early in the show, but it's good money!' Hannah who shot to fame as part of S Club 7 before going on to an acting career with roles in shows such as Primeval and EastEnders, was seen struggling. She was sitting on the way to a mission when she told her fellow recruits that she was 'feeling faint'. And just moments later, it was confirmed that the Reach singer had become the first to leave the course as her co-stars speculated that she had suffered a panic attack. However, in a confessional aired seconds beforehand, Hannah, who last year refused to join her bandmates for their reunion tour, had seemed confident in herself as she said: "I am pretty determined. I wouldn't say I give up easily but whether I get to the end or not...I don't think I'll go on the first day because I just wouldn't forgive myself." She went onto tell instructors: "Sorry - I'm done. Sorry. I've reached a point." And she wasn't the only star to fall at the first hurdle, as Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie also dramatically left the show as the tough scenes unfolded. He initially told the cameras as part of his own confessional segment: "If there was a world war and they decided they were gonna call everyone up, would I be the first to jump up and say 'Yes me?' Being surrounded my thousands of soldiers, I might just jump at it. I'd be the home guard like on Dad's Army. We'll have a gay Dad's Army. Honestly, they wouldn't wanna mess with the gays!" But, despite his confidence, just moments later, Chris Fox described the group's effort as "abysmal" after the latest task. He reminded the recruits to think about why they were there and suggested they take things "seriously". Louie piped up: "I wanna do an immediate withdrawal. I just don't have the conviction and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough," he said as he removed his armband. Chris gave him the chance to put his arm band back on, but Louie refused, so Chris said: "Get your kit." In a previously-filmed confessional, Louie, 56, had said: "I'm a survivor, I would keep battling to survive. I think the worst way for me to leave the course would be to choose to leave. That would really p*** me off," but just seconds later, it was confirmed that he had indeed quit the show." And following their exits, Chloe took to Instagram to rant about why she had quit as she said: ""I was f*****g exhausted and wanted my own bed and a cuddle from my mum. Forgive a girl for being so naive, but jumping at opportunities I'd never thought possible," whilst Tasha is yet to address her exit.
