Megyn Kelly did not mince her words when commenting on Jennifer Lopez's recent live performance.
The political commentator compared Lopez to 'a soft porn star' when reposting a video of the 55-year-old singer performing her hit song I'm Into You at the Cook Music Festival in Spain on July 18.
'Great choices!' the 54-year-old sarcastically captioned the video on X.

Lopez's performance of the 2011 hit featured a dance break with several shirtless male dancers mimicking some sexual positions, which Kelly firmly disapproved of.
Although many of Kelly's followers agreed with her take in the comments, others called her out for the mean-spirited post.
'Jealous much?' one user wrote, seemingly referring to the singer's impressive physique that she showcased during the performance in a plunging, bedazzled bodysuit.
'We could be a little less judgmental,' someone commented. 'Still grasping at relevance, Megyn?' another added.

Some also took to the comments to defend the dancer's seductive moves on stage that Kelly was criticising.
'Have you never seen contemporary dance?' one viewer questioned.
Lopez has not publicly reacted to Kelly's social media post. Reps for Lopez weren't immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The Megyn Kelly Show host is known to give her unfiltered takes about many Hollywood A-listers.
Kelly sarcastically applauded Lopez's 'good choices'.
Lopez was joined on stage by three men in the sultry performance.
Earlier this month, she claimed that it was Sydney Sweeney's 'enormous breasts' that snagged her an invite to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding.
'How does she wind up there?' the podcast host questioned after coming to the bold conclusion.
The journalist also compared Sánchez, 55, to a 'hooker' after the philanthropist stepped out wearing a low-cut white pantsuit and lace corset to Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony.
'At the inauguration, she wore a corset. She had her boobs on display. I can't with this woman,' Kelly said at the time.
'The girls were out … I can see the middle of her boobs. I can see her underboob … this is absurd. She couldn't even keep them covered up for a day.'

Medics worked on Ozzy Osbourne for hours in desperate battle to save rock legend: report

Paramedics fought for hours to save Ozzy Osbourne before the Black Sabbath frontman's death on Tuesday, according to a new report. A Thames Valley air ambulance landed in a field close to the rocker's mansion at 10:30 that morning, the Daily Mail claimed. The outlet claimed medics tried and failed to save the singer's life for two hours. A spokesperson for the organization told the Daily Mail, 'We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday.' Locals told the outlet that they worried 'something serious was happening' when they saw the chopper. One noted, 'We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health.' Osbourne's family members's reps have yet to respond to Page Six's requests for comment. The Grammy winner's loved ones released a statement Tuesday revealing Osbourne's death 'with more sadness than mere words can convey.' They wrote that the Prince of Darkness was 'with his family and surrounded by love' in his final moments. He is survived by wife Sharon Osbourne and their three kids — daughter Aimee, 41, daughter Kelly, 40, and son Jack, 39. Additionally, Ozzy was the father of son Elliot, daughter Jessica and son Louis from his first marriage to Thelma Riley. The songwriter's cause of death has yet to be revealed. Ozzy suffered from a myriad of health issues prior to his passing, from Parkinson's disease to limited mobility from a 2003 accident exacerbated by a 2019 fall. The musician retired from touring in 2023 but did perform a farewell Black Sabbath show with bandmates Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler earlier this month. Ozzy had previously told Rolling Stone he would 'die a happy man' as long as he did this. 'My fans are what it's all about,' he gushed to the magazine in 2023. Update on Harry, Meghan's TV plans after end of Netflix deal: ‘Coming soon'

Don't miss out on the headlines from Royals. Followed categories will be added to My News. IN LONDON Prince Harry and Meghan are poised to sign a new deal with Netflix following the end of their previous multi-year, multimillion dollar contract. It's been widely reported this week that, as expected, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's five-year agreement with the streaming service, which was signed in 2020, will expire in the coming months. However, according to Page Six, they're now set to ink a new 'first-look' contract with Netflix, similar to the type Barack and Michelle Obama have with the company. A 'first-look' deal generally means that there is an agreement where Netflix is granted exclusive rights to preview and potentially purchase a project before it's shopped around elsewhere. A source also revealed that 'there are more TV projects coming soon with both the duke and duchess', while the second season of Meghan's show, With Love, Meghan, is still on track to be released in September. Season two of With Love, Meghan is coming in September. Picture: Netflix Page Six also spoke to industry sources, who confirmed that Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is still on good terms with Harry and Meghan and continues to support them. The news that the Sussexes' Netflix deal was ending came just days after the streaming giant released its semi-annual report, 'What We Watched', which ranked With Love, Meghan in 383rd place (out of 7,500) with a total of 5.3 million views. The series outperformed other shows in its category, including The Great British Bake Off, Chef's Table and the most recent season of Queer Eye. They're reportedly entering into a new 'first-look' deal. Picture:for TIME It comes as Meghan is reportedly hitting pause on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast in order to focus on her lifestyle range, As Ever, according to Page Six. Both product drops this year have seen everything quickly sell out within hours. 'As a growing business, As Ever is continuing to explore growth opportunities that feel aligned with the brand's core values and quality standards,' a source told the publication. 'The brand continues to evolve with new products that align with her vision for quality lifestyle goods at accessible price points.' The couple's 2022 Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, was a massive ratings hit. Picture: Netflix Meanwhile, speculation that Harry and Meghan were considering moving back to the UK in some capacity following a recent 'royal peace summit' were firmly denied recently. Earlier this month, the Duke of Sussex's chief of staff and communications director, Meredith Maines, his UK spokesman, and the King's communications secretary, Tobyn Andrae, held a private meeting in London, reportedly to discuss the rift between the two parties. Tensions had first escalated when Harry and Meghan moved in 2020 to the US, where they are now based, and began to open up about the issues they'd faced during their time working within the monarchy. Having now taken that first concrete step toward reconciliation, rumours have been rife that the Sussexes are eyeing off some form of return to Harry's home country – but a source told US magazine People that they have no intention of leaving Montecito. Instead, the recent chat has been viewed as a potential reopening of the lines of communication between the duke and the King, who have been estranged in recent years. 'It was a good first step,' the insider said. 'It is always better to be talking.' Originally published as Update on Harry, Meghan's TV plans after end of Netflix deal: 'Coming soon'

Bachelor's Irena Gilbert reveals Covid burnout battle and mental health journey

Don't miss out on the headlines from Health. Followed categories will be added to My News. Filming a reality TV show on which she fell in love with her future husband might seem like the most emotionally intense thing that could have happened in Irena Gilbert's life that year, but in 2020 it was only part of the story. The 34-year-old nurse had fallen in love with her future husband, entrepreneur Locky Gilbert, 35, in front of the cameras on The Bachelor, but behind the scenes she was navigating the challenging reality of a healthcare worker in Melbourne during the Covid pandemic. 'While you hear a lot about nurses experiencing burnout, I think the events of that year really made things a lot more intense,' she said. Keeping her relationship with Locky a secret as per her contract, as well as being a frontline worker in some of the harshest lockdown conditions on the planet began to take its toll on Irena. 'I started dreading going to work,' she said. 'I'd have this panicked feeling just walking into the building.' Locky Gilbert and with Irena Gilbert (then Srbinovska) fell in love on The Bachelor. Picture: Channel 10 But as their love story was airing, things were not so smooth behind the scenes. Locky, who had returned home to Perth, could only provide support from afar. 'Everything in Perth was open, and so it was hard for him to fully grasp the gravity of the situation, but he was always there for me, sometimes for hours on end on the phone. I'd debrief at the end of each day during my one-hour walk,' Irena said. It was Locky, too, who eventually broached the solution to Irena's burnout. 'He said: 'why don't you move to Perth and take some time off?'' recalls Irena. 'Part of me was like, 'I've worked so hard to get to this point in my career,' and the other part of me was thinking: 'but I don't even want this job right now!' So I quit my job, moved to Perth and took a year off from nursing.' Australia is in the grips of a mental health crisis, and people are struggling to know who to turn to, especially our youngergenerations. Can We Talk? is a News Corp awareness campaign, in partnership with Medibank, equipping Aussies with the skills needed to have the mostimportant conversation of their life. Irena credits the move, as well as seeking professional help - 'I started seeing a psychologist, and I still see one,' she says - with healing her burnout and radically improving her mental health. And while openness about the ups and downs of life has become something of a hallmark for Irena, who has been candid about the heartbreak of suffering miscarriages in her journey to becoming a mother to Ava, now 18 months old, Locky has, for most of his life, struggled to get in touch with his own emotions. 'I've just always been kind of hard, masculine, 'don't talk about it', eat your feelings, 'get over it' - all that kind of stuff,' says Locky. 'And I think since having Ava, it's made me realise that's not at all the way it should be. I want Ava to be able to come to me and Irena with absolutely anything. And if I've got that hard exterior, no one's going to want to talk to me.' Becoming parents to 18-month-old Ava has changed the couple, especially Locky who has realised the value of openness. Picture: Philip Gostelow/ This instinct is in line with new research by News Corp's Growth Distillery in partnership with Medibank, which found that while family dynamics can play a crucial role in mental health conversations, notable communication gaps exist between parents and children in Australia. The research also found relationships are central to discussions about mental health, and partners were the most frequent confidants with 79 per cent of participants comfortable opening up to their significant other when it came to mental wellbeing. Strong relationships were found to have a big influence on our mental wellbeing, with more than half (53 per cent) citing their relationship as a key factor in having a positive impact. Earlier this year, Locky began seeing a holistic therapist - both individually and together with Irena. 'The first time I saw her, she laid me down and did some healing that had me absolutely bawling my eyes out,' he recalls. 'I hated it. But since then I've just learned so much - I hate the word trauma, but I'm learning about what it means to heal from your past, and the importance of dealing with emotions. Long story short, I've learned that opening up and just talking to someone can change a lot. It's been very helpful.' Irena and Locky Gilbert have both benefited from seeking professional help with their mental wellbeing. Picture: Instagram 'Locky's changed so much since he's been seeing our therapist and opening up,' Irena says. Picture: Philip Gostelow/ One of the most surprising things for Locky was the support of his inner circle when he began to be more vulnerable with them. 'The funny thing I realised was that (before therapy) in my head, I was constantly telling myself: 'don't show your emotions, this is what needs to be done.' That's what I had in my head,' he said. 'But when I came to all of my best mates and said, 'hey, I'm seeing a coach, and I'm trying to release all my emotions, and all this trauma kind of stuff,' they were all super proud of me. 'They're like, 'man, this is awesome. This is amazing'. Irena, my mum, everyone that was close to me was super happy that I was showing these emotions, and they're the people that I care about.' It's still early days and 'a work in progress,' says Locky, but he's been stunned at the change he's seen even in a matter of months. Irena agrees. 'Locky's changed so much since he's been seeing our therapist and opening up,' she says. 'He's never been a very naturally empathetic or compassionate person, but he's definitely changed. He was always just raised to think that 'men have to be men'. They don't show their emotions, they don't share their feelings. And because of that, he shut off his own emotions and his level of compassion and empathy. Now, he's realised that he's actually being strong by sharing this.' 'I'm still grappling with that,' Locky admits. 'But no one wants me to be bottled up emotionally. Everyone that I love wants me to express myself. I'm still having trouble with that, but I'm getting there.'
