Therefore, he would be happy to return to Serie A. Accordingly, Inter are hoping that Hojlund's desire for the move to happen is decisive in talks with United. Advertisement For their part, the Red Devils want a fee of around €45 million for Hojlund. Inter have not balked at this fee. They are ready to pay somewhere in that region for the 22-year-old. However, the key matter is the formula for a deal. Inter want an initial loan deal, whereas United are keen to sell Hojlund once and for all. Why Retegui's 25th Atalanta goal was legendary
Mateo Retegui has made history as the all-time Atalanta top scorer in a single Serie A season, but also broke Alessandro Del Piero's particular record. The striker was on target to secure the 3-2 victory away to his old club Genoa this evening at Marassi and that allowed him to consolidate his status as Capocannoniere. Advertisement It was his 25th goal of the campaign in Serie A, breaking the club record of 24 that had been set by Pippo Inzaghi in the 1996-97 campaign. (Photo by) This is not all, because Retegui also broke another rather unusual record that confirmed his versatility as a centre-forward. Since Opta began collating the results in 2005-06, Alessandro Del Piero at Juventus in 2007-08 was the only player to have scored at least 10 goals with his left foot and 10 with his right in a single Serie A season. Krstovic could replace Tammy Abraham at Roma
Roma continue to look for additional strikers to further reinforce Gian Piero Gasperini's squad ahead of next season. Among the profiles indicated by Gian Piero Gasperini is that of Nikola Krstovic, Lecce's centre-forward who performed well in the last Serie A season. Advertisement The Giallorossi coach appreciates him for his ability to adapt to multiple roles in the offensive department and for a mobility that could marry with the new playing system. According to La Repubblica, the Salento club has set the player's price tag at 30 million euros and would not be willing to negotiate lower. A significant figure that could complicate the operation, especially in the presence of competition from Milan and Leeds, who are also interested in the Montenegrin striker. Meanwhile, at Roma the future of Tammy Abraham is the talk of the town. Having returned after his loan at Milan, Abraham's future is still uncertain. The Giallorossi, in order to avoid a capital loss, are evaluating possible offers that could guarantee an advantageous transfer.
