Huge £208,000,000 EuroMillions draw offering biggest ever jackpot runs tonight
Friday the 13th is considered to be an unlucky day by most – but if someone claims the huge EuroMillions jackpot in tonight's draw they'll be a major exception to that rule.
If one ticketholder matches the five numbers and two lucky stars they'll be claiming a massive £208million jackpot, immediately becoming the biggest Lottery winner ever seen in the UK.
The EuroMillions jackpot reached the huge sum last week, and has continued to roll over as nobody has claimed the top prize.
The jackpot is capped at this number, and it will stay at £208million for a further four draws until it must be won in the fifth draw – which will be on June 20.
In the Must Be Won draw, if nobody matches all five numbers and both lucky stars, the jackpot rolls down into the next prize tier where there's at least one winner.
Plus, prize money which would have increased the jackpot has been rolling down to the next tier, increasing winnings.
In the last two EuroMillions draws, two players have won £4.5million and £2million each after matching five main numbers and one lucky star.
This Friday's draw is also trying to counteract the bad reputation of Friday the 13th by upping its Millionaire Maker draw, meaning 13 UK players will win guaranteed £1million prizes.
And anyone who plays two or more lines online in tonight's draw will get a chance to win one of 13 luxury holidays to Thailand.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn which runs the National Lottery, said: 'Friday the 13th might have spooky connotations, but for some lucky players, it could be the day their lives change forever.
'With 13 guaranteed new millionaires, and potentially the nation's biggest ever National Lottery winner, it's the perfect time to defy superstition and take a chance.
'The unluckiest day of the year might just become a day you'll never forget.'
From always choosing the same numbers to only buying tickets in a shop rather than online, lots of players have their own superstitions about how to increase their luck.
But experts at the National Lottery have warned most of these methods don't increase your chances. More Trending
There's only one way to be in with a chance at winning, and that's simply by buying a ticket.
But while many people may think that winning the large sum of money may be a blessing, it can also be a curse.
Studies in the US have found that people are more likely to declare bankruptcy within three to five years compared to the average citizen.
The pressure may also cause somebody to spiral into depression and lead to alcohol and drug abuse.

Biggest lottery prize in UK rolls over yet again after no EuroMillions winner
Tuesday's jackpot will be an estimated £208 million and would be the largest prize awarded in the UK, National Lottery operator Allwyn said. The total prize money has now been capped, meaning prize pots in the next winning tier will be boosted. Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, said: 'Tuesday will see the incredible £208 million EuroMillions jackpot still up for grabs. 'A win of this magnitude would create the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen. 'Get your tickets early to ensure you're in with a chance of a massive life-changing win.' He added: 'The EuroMillions jackpot is now capped, so any money that would have gone into increasing the jackpot now boosts prizes in the next winning prize tier, meaning that we're seeing multiple UK players banking huge prizes for matching just the five main numbers and one Lucky Star.' In Friday's draw, five UK players became millionaires after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, winning £3.61 million each. The main EuroMillions winning numbers were 02, 28, 40, 43, 45 and the lucky stars were 03 and 07. It also saw 13 UK millionaires made through a special EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker event. 'Contrary to superstition, Friday the 13th has proven the luckiest date in the calendar for these lucky UK players,' Mr Carter said. 'All UK EuroMillions players should check their tickets and contact us if they believe they are one of tonight's lucky winners.' No players won the £1 million HotPicks jackpot – which uses the same numbers as the EuroMillions draw. No players won the £500,000 Thunderball jackpot either. The five Thunderball numbers were 01, 02, 24, 33, 39 and the Thunderball number was 13.

UK's biggest-ever lottery jackpot rolls over again after no EuroMillions win
The UK's biggest-ever lottery prize is still up for grabs after no one won Friday's (13 June) EuroMillions draw. Tuesday's jackpot is expected to reach around £208 million, which would make it the largest prize ever awarded in the UK, National Lottery operator Allwyn said. The total prize money has now been capped, meaning prize pots in the next winning tier will be boosted. Once it has reached its cap, and if there is no winner, it stays at this value for a further four draws until it must be won in the fifth draw. This will be on 20 June. In the Must Be Won draw, if no ticket matches all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars, the entire jackpot prize will roll down into the prize tier where there is at least one winner – likely to be five main numbers and one Lucky Star. Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, said: 'A win of this magnitude would create the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen.
